Like other people have said, the board tends to scrape pretty easily but nothing a sharpie can't help cover up. Getting on it it for the first time is EXTREMELY awkward and weird to get the hang of, but I think my friends and I got it figured out in twenty minutes or so... Also getting off this thing is daunting at first but a hand on a wall will help... Make sure the sidewalks in your area are more or less even, this thing does not like bumps... My only other complaint is that the bag it came with, the bag is a little too tight, so it's not easy enough to get into the bag and the holder for the battery is way too small and loose... Anyway, the rover took about 5 minutes to get my balance and about 10 more to get a good feel for roaming around... A word to the wise, if you want this to be lazy, your calves are going to get a workout!!!... If you're not sure about your balance, just get a helmet and some very steady furniture to get up on it and get familiar with it. When riding and you think you're going to fall, step one foot off and the other off quickly... Also, I used it at work a little and felt comfortable enough to not feel like I was going to run someone over."
