Hydro Flask Insulated Wide Mouth Stainless Steel Water Bottle, 32-Ounce

Very Quick

"Straw Lid (definitely recommend adding one): - Easy to clean - this lid is MUCH easier to clean than the Camelback ones - Easy open/close - just lift it with the little plastic tab that sticks out - Quiet open/close - I hate to be the person who keeps making noise with her water bottle in classes or meetings - Loop for carrying - this loop is fine (although a little bit small, so I might order a handle that I've seen other places)."

"It is a little akward to drink from with one hand because the strap from the screw on cap is stiff and keeps the lid very close to the top so you have to hold it out of the way with one hand or if you have bigger hands you can hold the cap strap back with the same hand you grabbed the bottle with or let it rest against your cheek."

"If you are on the fence about getting this water bottle, Id say that if you go outside, like your water to keep its temperature, want to keep your coffee/tea hot, keep it in your car, want cold water at the pool, or workout somewhere hot, it's atleast worth a try."

"Uncle Amazon, who spoils me very much with lovely returns and ultra fast shipping and delivery even on Sundays, took care of the return, all I had to do was drop off the re sleeved, re inserted into plastic bag then re bubble wrapped and nestled into its air cushioned bed and sealed up package at my local UPS Store."

"I came back the next afternoon around 11:30 am and there was still ice and the water was very cold."

"Feels very solid, and the powder coating is nice and even, and I'm not too worried about it chipping off easily from washing."

"IMO - and I think most others would agree - that at this price these small extras are not too much to ask for."

"Straw Lid (definitely recommend adding one): - Easy to clean - this lid is MUCH easier to clean than the Camelback ones - Easy open/close - just lift it with the little plastic tab that sticks out - Quiet open/close - I hate to be the person who keeps making noise with her water bottle in classes or meetings - Loop for carrying - this loop is fine (although a little bit small, so I might order a handle that I've seen other places)... My brother-in-law was just visiting, and he's been using a Klean Kanteen for years, and he seemed a little jealous of my Hydro Flask ;) One benefit he said the Klean Kanteen has over the Hydro Flask is that the lid vacuum seals the bottle every time you close it, but I really don't understand why that's a big deal. I haven't had a problem with my bottle not sealing or insulating, even with the straw lid, which I guess hinders insulation a little bit (but it still keeps my drink cold for a very long time)."

"A different day that I tried to test this (with drinking from the bottle so the lid was open alot) there was no ice left but the water was fridge cold a day later... It is a little akward to drink from with one hand because the strap from the screw on cap is stiff and keeps the lid very close to the top so you have to hold it out of the way with one hand or if you have bigger hands you can hold the cap strap back with the same hand you grabbed the bottle with or let it rest against your cheek... Of course if you are dying of thirst and you have 10 seconds to get a drink you might tip the bottle back to fast and I could see how that spills water out, but normal drinking will not get your clothing wet from spills."

"I put ice in this water bottle during by lunch break at lunch to keep it cool and usually I load a water bottle with ice right before I leave the office because I go to hot yoga after and I don't have an ice maker at home... Some people have complained about the insulation, I haven't had a problem with it yet other than the stainless steel on the top of the flask does get REALLY cold... If you are on the fence about getting this water bottle, Id say that if you go outside, like your water to keep its temperature, want to keep your coffee/tea hot, keep it in your car, want cold water at the pool, or workout somewhere hot, it's atleast worth a try."

I have tested the lid since by tugging on it with quite a bit of force, and it has not budged from the flask, so I believe it to be safe to carry by the loop now... I am very happy, finally, with this great Hydroflask, and as my husband is casting jealous looks my way whenever I take a sip, I suspect I will be purchasing another in the very near future."

"I came back the next afternoon around 11:30 am and there was still ice and the water was very cold... This iis just a little bit taller than a 32 oz Nalgene Everyday bottle, and close to the same diameter as the Nalgene... If I could only get one size it would be the 32 oz as it is the most versatile of all of the sizes that Hydro Flask has to offer."

"Feels very solid, and the powder coating is nice and even, and I'm not too worried about it chipping off easily from washing... I use this bottle to carry water with me while at class, so I fill it in the morning and the water and ice stay cold all day!... I would definitely recommend this bottle to anyone looking for a bottle that will stay cold all day long."

"The 32oz bottle is rather big around, and hard to get a good grip around it w/ one hand, and it does get quite heavy when full... IMO - and I think most others would agree - that at this price these small extras are not too much to ask for... I fill it w/ ice first and fill it w/ cold liquid, and 5 or 6 hrs later there is still ice floating around even on a very hot day."

"There are a lot of features I want in a water bottle (keeps drinks cold/hot, doesn't sweat, easy open/close, won't spill, easy to clean, not noisy to open/close or drink from, etc... Straw Lid (definitely recommend adding one): - Easy to clean - this lid is MUCH easier to clean than the Camelback ones - Easy open/close - just lift it with the little plastic tab that sticks out - Quiet open/close - I hate to be the person who keeps making noise with her water bottle in classes or meetings - Loop for carrying - this loop is fine (although a little bit small, so I might order a handle that I've seen other places). I like that it has rubber around the inside so that it's not slippery, and it makes it easy to hold it without fear of dropping it while drinking... The one issue I've come across is that it doesn't fit in most cup holders, although I am lucky and one in my car is *just* big enough to fit it... I did know this was a potential problem before I ordered it, though, and they do have other size options that would fit in a standard cup holder...

"Now, it may not be the full size ice cube you started with or as much as you first put in there but there is ice left. A different day that I tried to test this (with drinking from the bottle so the lid was open alot) there was no ice left but the water was fridge cold a day later... I do wish it fit in car cup holders, but the screw on cap doesn't leak so I just keep it in the passenger seat or in my bag. It is a little akward to drink from with one hand because the strap from the screw on cap is stiff and keeps the lid very close to the top so you have to hold it out of the way with one hand or if you have bigger hands you can hold the cap strap back with the same hand you grabbed the bottle with or let it rest against your cheek. But it doesn't spill water everywhere like you would think with the wide mouth. Honestly if you have taken a drink from a normal travel mug with the lid off, it's about the same size. Of course if you are dying of thirst and you have 10 seconds to get a drink you might tip the bottle back to fast and I could see how that spills water out, but normal drinking will not get your clothing wet from spills."

"I put ice in this water bottle during by lunch break at lunch to keep it cool and usually I load a water bottle with ice right before I leave the office because I go to hot yoga after and I don't have an ice maker at home. Without this water bottle, the ice would have almost completely melted by the time I got to yoga and by the time the class was done it was warm water (98... I STILL have the same ice in my water bottle now (24 hours later) and I've refilled it multiple times since yesterday's lunch... I have the straw top on it right now and while the bottle doesn't sweat if you put it on its side (in my bag) the lid does sweat... I walk 20 mins in the weather to classes most mornings and usually by the time i get to class, either I have hot water, cold tea, or the liquid has spilled out onto my backpack or the bottle has sweat so bad that I think the bottle spilled...

"Well, I ordered this impressive looking flask after reading reviews of several different stainless steel bottles, and when it arrived, the box it was shipped in was in perfect shape... Uncle Amazon, who spoils me very much with lovely returns and ultra fast shipping and delivery even on Sundays, took care of the return, all I had to do was drop off the re sleeved, re inserted into plastic bag then re bubble wrapped and nestled into its air cushioned bed and sealed up package at my local UPS Store... I have tested the lid since by tugging on it with quite a bit of force, and it has not budged from the flask, so I believe it to be safe to carry by the loop now. As far as the dent in the original flask, it is my belief that it was dented before it was packaged-I envision the factory workers using these as light sabers and mock fighting, or maybe it was a test bottle, filled and dropped from the roof of a twelve story building... As I write this review, I am sipping cold water from my Hydroflask with ice still floating in it which I filled up 24 hours ago. I am very happy, finally, with this great Hydroflask, and as my husband is casting jealous looks my way whenever I take a sip, I suspect I will be purchasing another in the very near future. I have not tried hot liquids in it yet, but this winter I am looking forward to coffee, and maybe hot chocolate..."

"Due to the vacuum insulation if you pour hot tea into the hydro flask it will still be very hot for most of the day... The first thing that I had to do after getting it was to put it to the test... I came back the next afternoon around 11:30 am and there was still ice and the water was very cold... The 32 oz fits in the side mesh "Nalgene" pocket of my backpack without being too top heavy and falling out of the side pocket. This iis just a little bit taller than a 32 oz Nalgene Everyday bottle, and close to the same diameter as the Nalgene... I also use the Hydro Flask flip top lid with this sometimes... If I could only get one size it would be the 32 oz as it is the most versatile of all of the sizes that Hydro Flask has to offer."

"Hands down the best water bottle I've ever had!... I loved that one, but disliked the downgrade in size because I would constantly need to fill it up... Feels very solid, and the powder coating is nice and even, and I'm not too worried about it chipping off easily from washing... I use this bottle to carry water with me while at class, so I fill it in the morning and the water and ice stay cold all day!... I would definitely recommend this bottle to anyone looking for a bottle that will stay cold all day long. The only downside that I've encountered so far, is that there aren't any splash guards available that fit....... The mouth of the bottle is slightly larger than other brands such as Nalgene 32oz."

"The 32oz bottle is rather big around, and hard to get a good grip around it w/ one hand, and it does get quite heavy when full... I also wish it came w/ a protective sleeve - partial or full - made of silicone, perhaps, to protect the bottom of the bottle from bumps, dents, etc... IMO - and I think most others would agree - that at this price these small extras are not too much to ask for... I fill it w/ ice first and fill it w/ cold liquid, and 5 or 6 hrs later there is still ice floating around even on a very hot day. I was tempted to buy one in a fun, bright color, but I figured the white exterior helps reflect the heat better than anything else... I wash it with warm soapy water at the end of the day and let it air dry overnight in a dish drainer... To protect the sealed vacuum insulating walls, handle it gently -be careful not to get it banged up, b/c if it loses the vacuum it won't insulate well anymore."
