"Price does seem a little bit more than other premium litters when measured by volume (not weight), but because you don't throw out the peed up litter, you still have just as much litter in the box after 3 weeks as you had when you filled it initially (versus the other litters where you're steadily throwing away litter as it gets peed up), which balances things out a bit.""If the litter was really soft on their feet, it usually didn't clump well and ended up at stuck to the bottom of the pan and would just break up when I'd scoop it and also recirculate the icky urine (and smell)."
"We have tried so many other litters and they are just as bad and since our cats are used to this, we stick with it for now."
"Newspaper and pine litters both smelled bad enough new to be an issue, but worse was when they were used."
"There is nothing terrible about any of those options really, because ultimately, you get the one your cat(s) will use, won't stink up your place, and is relatively easy to clean up."
"After move & introduction to clay, he began vomiting more often & like clockwork, every morning, he was nauseous, looking for something to soothe tummy (catnip, plastic bags which he'd eat pcs of to get sick & puke up cause of nausea)."
"The moisture isn't urine, so I think it's condensation on the outside of the bag because of the warm stuff in the bag, but it also might be that the whole little enclosure where the used litter sits is sealed, so that moisture just seeps into the air and all around the bag."

"While I didn't measure this precisely, I'd tend to say the 28 lbs bag of World's Best goes at least as far as a 40 lbs bag of Precious Cat (or other fine clay litter), which makes the costs a lot more comparable (just don't overpay for the litter - some of the Amazon marketplace resellers gouge on the price)... My cats also used this box less than the others, though they've never used a crystal litter before and likely just aren't used to it, which I can't hold against Just the Crystals... Price does seem a little bit more than other premium litters when measured by volume (not weight), but because you don't throw out the peed up litter, you still have just as much litter in the box after 3 weeks as you had when you filled it initially (versus the other litters where you're steadily throwing away litter as it gets peed up), which balances things out a bit.""If the litter was really soft on their feet, it usually didn't clump well and ended up at stuck to the bottom of the pan and would just break up when I'd scoop it and also recirculate the icky urine (and smell)... I am bewildered by all of this, and I have ALWAYS had to add a bit of litter to the cat box after scooping out but have yet to add more in a whole week!... I had carefully read the one and two star negative reviews which I typically find the most valuable for "expectation and honesty" when I purchase on Amazon."
"Believe me, I'm not expecting NO odor when the cat goes to the bathroom, but this no longer masks a thing and makes the room where they go to the bathroom, and thus our house, constantly smell like a porter potty... We never, ever used to see any dust in the house but now we always know where a cat has been because of the little dusty paw prints all over... We have tried so many other litters and they are just as bad and since our cats are used to this, we stick with it for now."
"Newspaper and pine litters both smelled bad enough new to be an issue, but worse was when they were used... Even though clay always seemed cheaper, I was always worried about my cats ingesting the clay when they clean themselves... I won't pretend things were perfect when he was still super smelly, but as his diet improved and his bathroom trips got a bit less stinky, this litter still held up."
"There is nothing terrible about any of those options really, because ultimately, you get the one your cat(s) will use, won't stink up your place, and is relatively easy to clean up... Usually, I'm having to look away from the outpouring of dust from clay litters, but the minute traces of dust that may arise from the corn formula was barely noticeable... They were fine, but I know not all cats like the feel of the pellets under their paws when going."
"After move & introduction to clay, he began vomiting more often & like clockwork, every morning, he was nauseous, looking for something to soothe tummy (catnip, plastic bags which he'd eat pcs of to get sick & puke up cause of nausea)... Between my own allergies to so many clay brands & fact I'm really the only 1 maintaining litter & I've been finding good enuf deals made it possible to finally b all natural (w/ others on board). As far as the leftover odor that no litter has eliminated fully simply cuz cat pee stinks, even if u scoop it obsessively, I have my life saving solution called the germ guardian air sanitizer which eliminates the odor that even the cleanest, most well maintained cat boxes using top tier litter will have."
"* I bought this for a self-scooping box because I noticed the clay stuff I was using before made me sneeze a lot when cleaning it... The moisture isn't urine, so I think it's condensation on the outside of the bag because of the warm stuff in the bag, but it also might be that the whole little enclosure where the used litter sits is sealed, so that moisture just seeps into the air and all around the bag... Again, this seems to happen only when you don't change the litter out frequently or let the bag go too long without replacing, but I've never had these problems with clay."
Less Quick
"There is a small amount of dust, but the dust appears to have a large particle size and doesn't stay airborne, so it settles quickly back into the box instead of getting all over everything... While I didn't measure this precisely, I'd tend to say the 28 lbs bag of World's Best goes at least as far as a 40 lbs bag of Precious Cat (or other fine clay litter), which makes the costs a lot more comparable (just don't overpay for the litter - some of the Amazon marketplace resellers gouge on the price)... Per unit of volume this seems comparable to other premium litters - perhaps a bit less than World's Best or Just the Crystals - but you might need to change it more often to keep it from smelling bad, which could make it less cost effective... Price per unit volume seems a bit less than World's Best or Just the Crystal's (more comparable to Nature's Miracle - maybe a little less than it too), but I wouldn't use it anymore even if it were free - can't stand the dust... The litter boxes are converted from large Rubbermaid totes (I needed something with high sides as I have one cat that sometimes doesn't squat and pees over the sides of regular litter boxes).""If the litter was really soft on their feet, it usually didn't clump well and ended up at stuck to the bottom of the pan and would just break up when I'd scoop it and also recirculate the icky urine (and smell)... Well in the past, I did have pretty good luck with Feline Pine which is a litter that kind of resembles rabbit pellets that turns in to a sawdust type of material when it comes in to contact with liquid..... Terribly excited (yes this was a big deal) I ordered 3 small "add-on" Amazon Prime bags to meet my order minimum because the big Amazon Prime bag was going to take an additional 4-5 days... So weird because the texture is also very soft (my 2 cats took to it as I was filling the pan) but the pee actually clumps and doesn't sink?!... I am bewildered by all of this, and I have ALWAYS had to add a bit of litter to the cat box after scooping out but have yet to add more in a whole week!... I had carefully read the one and two star negative reviews which I typically find the most valuable for "expectation and honesty" when I purchase on Amazon. While I strongly considered them for this product, I, in this case, also considered the vast amount of variables in diet and health of people's pets that could easily make the experience different for each consumer."
"I don't know if they switched their formula, manufacturer or what, but it's not even close to how it used to be... I used to be able to go at least one month before completely emptying the litter boxes, washing them out, and refilling them with fresh litter... Believe me, I'm not expecting NO odor when the cat goes to the bathroom, but this no longer masks a thing and makes the room where they go to the bathroom, and thus our house, constantly smell like a porter potty... We never, ever used to see any dust in the house but now we always know where a cat has been because of the little dusty paw prints all over... The tracking has gotten worse too and we have really good litter mats to catch most of it, as well as a carpet in the area where they use the bathroom... We have tried at least 12 different bags at different times, all with different lot and bar code numbers and it's all the same garbage now so we know it's not just "one bad bag"...
That's not true for me with the purple lavender scented bag, but the red multi-cat unscented bag is perfection... I won't pretend things were perfect when he was still super smelly, but as his diet improved and his bathroom trips got a bit less stinky, this litter still held up. I don't think a litter in the world could have helped our Nougat back then, but that's the only scent issue we've ever had. The clumps are almost always as firm as clay clumps, without the clay muddiness you get with some brands... Even with a slower toilet flow the pee clumps (we don't flush the giant pees) break apart and go right down."
"There is nothing terrible about any of those options really, because ultimately, you get the one your cat(s) will use, won't stink up your place, and is relatively easy to clean up... Usually, I'm having to look away from the outpouring of dust from clay litters, but the minute traces of dust that may arise from the corn formula was barely noticeable. This isn't just great for me (little to no dust wafting around in my bathroom every day) but great for my cat too... They were fine, but I know not all cats like the feel of the pellets under their paws when going... I know there have been complains from other reviewers about the smell of this litter, but I don't mind it at all... While you may initially notice poop smells the minute it's happening, if you let it remain buried in World's Best litter, I notice that it eradicates the poop smell too... There is, of course, some litter, but the amount is about 70% less than when I used clay litter."
"Personally, i don't think there is such a thing as litter that eliminates every bit of odor, but some r better than others. Even as often as i scoop any & everything out of litter, no litter has been miraculous enuf to make it equivalent to no litter box in house at all... I always used natural litters for my cat but a few yrs ago moved & current roommate had a cat that would only use clay... After move & introduction to clay, he began vomiting more often & like clockwork, every morning, he was nauseous, looking for something to soothe tummy (catnip, plastic bags which he'd eat pcs of to get sick & puke up cause of nausea). Obviously plastic bags not good & i kept them away from him but roomate leaves everything everywhere even tho it's a danger to him...
The smell is better than clay as long as you keep it fresh, and it does clump faster and more dry than clay when it is fresh, which is especially good for an electric box... This works well when the litter is fresh, and if you empty the bag before it is full (two or three times a week with my two cats)... This has happened a couple of times, from just a week of not cleaning it (I'm gone that long at a time sometimes). Second, after only a few days, the bag will get damp on the outside, and the tray the bag sits in starts filling with moisture--enough to pour out of the tray when you pick it up.
