Purina Tidy Cats BREEZE Pellets Refill Cat Litter - (6) 3.5 lb. Pouches

Very Quick

"I do want to point out that because we have two cats and three levels of the house we did add additional boxes per the mfg recommendation (which I thought was crazy initially), however, it really did improve my cats' litter habits."

"I have used dog pads in the system--my income is getting smaller like so many these days--they do work, but don't have the nice ingredients that the System pads have."

"Even their clumping litter works well with multiple cats, but I just got so sick and tired of walking into an area where we had a litter box and it was like a sand box on the floor every time."

"I've changed the pad only once within the last three weeks and I'll probably change it again sometime very soon (~10-12 days)."

"It's very easy to keep scooped, the pads work very well (I change mine for the two cats about every 5 days, checking it every other day when I scoop to see how it's going) and the odor is minimal - just a bit right after they poop, which as another reviewer pointed out is the same for humans and is about the same as my old litter (my cats have never been big on totally burying their poop, so this helps with scooping)."

"* Amazon delivers the pellets and pads to my door automatically for cheaper than I can get them at the pet store or discount stores."

"i don't dread cleaning this out, and i don't have to worry about my cats tracking litter and poop/pee bits all over the house."

"I cannot figure out how the urine pan could leak at all if you are using the pad (right side up with the green plastic side down and the absorbant white side up) and you are changing it when it becomes full... They do recommend that you completely change the pellets every month, so you don't really want to put in more than you need for your cat's comfort... I do want to point out that because we have two cats and three levels of the house we did add additional boxes per the mfg recommendation (which I thought was crazy initially), however, it really did improve my cats' litter habits."

"found that if I left the poop for a few hours-or even a couple of days, so that it dried out, the pellets did not stick... I have used dog pads in the system--my income is getting smaller like so many these days--they do work, but don't have the nice ingredients that the System pads have... I don't have issues with loose stool or large living area or cats that don't get along (even when I had 2 of them)."

"Even their clumping litter works well with multiple cats, but I just got so sick and tired of walking into an area where we had a litter box and it was like a sand box on the floor every time... You do need to make sure your pads are fully seated inside the tray and tight around the edges before you put in the bottom of the box or it may fold up a bit and urine could end up outside of the pad area... Once a month or sooner if the box is getting nasty from return usage I dump the pellets, take the boxes outside and spray them down with some Clorox cleaner, scrub the baked on spots if necessary and thendry them up and we're back in business."

"I've changed the pad only once within the last three weeks and I'll probably change it again sometime very soon (~10-12 days)... I just ordered the six month supply of pellets and pads, and I will likely add more pellets, because as other people mention, 3... A bit of an aside, but I also purchased the Merry Pet Cat Washroom / Night Stand Pet House from Amazon and put the Breeze system into it."

"I hated scoopable because it rarely really clumped well enough to scoop cleanly, and the fine grains would be tracked all over the house (like walking in a disgusting beach vacation house)... It's very easy to keep scooped, the pads work very well (I change mine for the two cats about every 5 days, checking it every other day when I scoop to see how it's going) and the odor is minimal - just a bit right after they poop, which as another reviewer pointed out is the same for humans and is about the same as my old litter (my cats have never been big on totally burying their poop, so this helps with scooping). It might be a bit pricier than buying regular litter, but I also used liner bags to make cat box changing easier, and now I don't need those either, so it evens out."

"* Amazon delivers the pellets and pads to my door automatically for cheaper than I can get them at the pet store or discount stores... I have 2 systems for 3 cats and go through a case of pellets (6 bags) once every 2 months... But my 3 cats are middle aged and tidy and not that smelly in general, so once a day cleaning out the poo is usually good."

"i don't dread cleaning this out, and i don't have to worry about my cats tracking litter and poop/pee bits all over the house... the only thing that sucks is when one has diarrhea, the mess in the box can get outta hand quickly, if they scratch a lot and it gets on most of the pellets... my older cat has firm, dry poop, and i used to beable to just scoop it out and flush it in the toilet, because none of the pellets would stick."

"I cannot figure out how the urine pan could leak at all if you are using the pad (right side up with the green plastic side down and the absorbant white side up) and you are changing it when it becomes full... If you have multiple cats and one box, or a large cat that pees a lot, you may need to change your pad more often, but that's specific to your cat... They do recommend that you completely change the pellets every month, so you don't really want to put in more than you need for your cat's comfort... I do notice an odor right after my cat has a bowel movement, or if the box is left longer than day without scooping out the solid waste... I do want to point out that because we have two cats and three levels of the house we did add additional boxes per the mfg recommendation (which I thought was crazy initially), however, it really did improve my cats' litter habits... The pads generally last at least a week for all boxes, occasionally one box will be used less and a pad will last two weeks... I agree that the refill costs are high, but as I said, comparable with the ScoopFree system, but this was actually cleaner and easier given the unique habits of my cats."

"found that if I left the poop for a few hours-or even a couple of days, so that it dried out, the pellets did not stick... I have added a bag of volcanic pellet rocks to the pet area to help remove stray odors--this solved the last of the odor problem (available in camping stores, on amazon, etc... with one cat I change pads about every 2 weeks. I have used dog pads in the system--my income is getting smaller like so many these days--they do work, but don't have the nice ingredients that the System pads have... so I wash the whole box with a little bleach and dish soap then let it dry for a couple of hours before putting it back together... I don't have issues with loose stool or large living area or cats that don't get along (even when I had 2 of them)... I can't get down to the floor to clean the box, so it is up at about thigh height, cat jumps up, does his business and leaves a clean area."

"Even their clumping litter works well with multiple cats, but I just got so sick and tired of walking into an area where we had a litter box and it was like a sand box on the floor every time... After a few days of waiting and wondering if I had wasted my money, one of the cats finally used it and the next day it was being used regularly... One of my guys is a larger Siamese breed and his butt tends to stick out of the end of the box at times when he poos so it sometimes ends up on the floor, but he had the same problem with the scoopable litter boxes at times... You do need to make sure your pads are fully seated inside the tray and tight around the edges before you put in the bottom of the box or it may fold up a bit and urine could end up outside of the pad area... Ours guys tend to use 2 of the boxes more frequently than the other 2, so in those boxes I usually have to change the pads every other day... The other 2 boxes I only change out pads once or twice a week depending on how soiled they get... Once a month or sooner if the box is getting nasty from return usage I dump the pellets, take the boxes outside and spray them down with some Clorox cleaner, scrub the baked on spots if necessary and thendry them up and we're back in business."

"I have had this box for three weeks now since adopting a two year old abyssinian... I was really concerned about how horribly clumping litter would track and easily get all over the room and into my bed... He was a bit confounded by where the urine went and the size of the litter, but uses it now without any problem... My cat only poops every 36 hours or so, and I just clean it as soon as I notice it and febreeze the room..... I've changed the pad only once within the last three weeks and I'll probably change it again sometime very soon (~10-12 days)... I just ordered the six month supply of pellets and pads, and I will likely add more pellets, because as other people mention, 3... A bit of an aside, but I also purchased the Merry Pet Cat Washroom / Night Stand Pet House from Amazon and put the Breeze system into it."

"* I've got two cats and have been looking for the best solution for many years. I hated scoopable because it rarely really clumped well enough to scoop cleanly, and the fine grains would be tracked all over the house (like walking in a disgusting beach vacation house). So I used another brand's regular litter as it absorbed odor very well, but still had tracking to contend with (at least they were bigger and easier to sweep up, but still disgusting to find on the sofa)... The cats adapted to it immediately (I put a little poop from the old box to help them know they were in the right place). It might be a bit pricier than buying regular litter, but I also used liner bags to make cat box changing easier, and now I don't need those either, so it evens out... ) I just wish Tidy Cat would do some advertising on this product, because the reviews are overwhelmingly good for those of us who stumbled onto the system, and I'd hate to see the product disappear."

"* Amazon delivers the pellets and pads to my door automatically for cheaper than I can get them at the pet store or discount stores... I have 2 systems for 3 cats and go through a case of pellets (6 bags) once every 2 months... I bought this system because I was fed up with disgusting bits of kitty litter turning up all over my house -- on my pillow, in the sink, on the couch, YUCK!... After all, the cats are still walking everywhere after they've been in the litter box... But my 3 cats are middle aged and tidy and not that smelly in general, so once a day cleaning out the poo is usually good. Bottom line, yeah the poo is a little grosser and yeah it costs more, but you couldn't pay me to switch back to clay litter. I'm totally sold, especially with Amazon saving me time and money on subscribe and save."

"i don't dread cleaning this out, and i don't have to worry about my cats tracking litter and poop/pee bits all over the house. sometimes the pellets escape, but not too many, and they don't go far... the only thing that sucks is when one has diarrhea, the mess in the box can get outta hand quickly, if they scratch a lot and it gets on most of the pellets. if they just poop and walk away, i can usually scoop most of the affected pellets out then use a wipey on the plastic underneath and its okay. my older cat has firm, dry poop, and i used to beable to just scoop it out and flush it in the toilet, because none of the pellets would stick... i kept the boxes in my utility room, which i hardly used, so they got nasty quickly and i hated cleaning them out... i can smell immediately when my cats poop, from the other room, so that's usually when i clean it out."
