Purina Tidy Cats 24/7 Performance Clumping Cat Litter - 40 lb. Box

Very Quick

"However, when I pour new litter into the boxes there is low dust kickup (other brands would produce a cloud as I poured litter into the boxes) and I have not noticed litter granules anywhere other than just outside the litter boxes (I have a cat who likes to dig to China in the box)."

"I first ordered 2 20 lb jugs, and when I went to order it again, it was out of stock, so I ordered the 40lb box of litter."

"Now my cat room that barely smelled the first year smells even though I clean the litter box almost every day, the smell isn't completely terrible but definitely more noticeable compared to before."

"* After using another brand of litter for 2 months, I switched to Tidy Cats 24/7 clumping litter and I am relieved that I found something that works well, convenient, and hassle free."

"While my cats are both kickers, and litter accumulates on the mat outside the litter box, there is minimal tracking throughout the rest of my home (except for the one and only time I bought the Lightweight Formula, and they tracked it everywhere)."

"Tidy Cat litter does a great job, always has and I love that I can have it delivered in the large size bucket since I am disabled and I cannot carry this myself."

"You'll go through 4x as much litter when you have to scrub out the box completely every other day."

"We keep our boxes in the garage so things like dust and litter sticking to the cats are not a huge deal for us, since the dust would settle in the garage and the stuck on litter would be off the cat before they make it back into the house. However, when I pour new litter into the boxes there is low dust kickup (other brands would produce a cloud as I poured litter into the boxes) and I have not noticed litter granules anywhere other than just outside the litter boxes (I have a cat who likes to dig to China in the box)... It is very easy to order from Amazon (I have Prime) and have it shipped to my front door for free in a couple-three days as opposed to going to the store to get litter and then hauling it from shelf to cart to register to car."

"I never realized that most cat litters have some type of scent added to them... So I went on a hunt for unscented litter and found the Tidy Cats Free & Clean... I first ordered 2 20 lb jugs, and when I went to order it again, it was out of stock, so I ordered the 40lb box of litter."

"As soon as I switched to the box after amazon stopped carrying the jugs for prime; completely different story - now the litter is super dusty, clumps break apart easily, and odor protection is not too great. Now my cat room that barely smelled the first year smells even though I clean the litter box almost every day, the smell isn't completely terrible but definitely more noticeable compared to before... I have no idea why there is such a big difference as the packaging shouldn't matter for the quality so my conclusion is that the box must be a knockoff and not the real purina brand or else I just got a bad batch in the one box I bought despite never having any issues wit the jugs prior to..."

"* After using another brand of litter for 2 months, I switched to Tidy Cats 24/7 clumping litter and I am relieved that I found something that works well, convenient, and hassle free... Even after cleaning the box the smell didn't go away unless you cleaned it out completely by washing it... I'm not gagging when I'm cleaning it, and I don't have to muscle the clumps out, sometimes causing particles to fling past the box perimeter."

"While my cats are both kickers, and litter accumulates on the mat outside the litter box, there is minimal tracking throughout the rest of my home (except for the one and only time I bought the Lightweight Formula, and they tracked it everywhere)... It clumps well (especially with regular scooping, so it doesn t get too built up in certain spots), so scooping and clean up are very easy with little mess... I have tried other brands, including Arm&Hammer, Fresh Step, as well as some non-clay based litters, and this is by far my favorite, even out of all of the Tidy Cat litters."

"For some time I have been using the Tidy Cat Breeze system which I absolutely loved, had two of them for my cats... The Breeze system is VERY SMALL for a litter box & I pray they come out with larger sizes!!... Tidy Cat litter does a great job, always has and I love that I can have it delivered in the large size bucket since I am disabled and I cannot carry this myself."

"* I have been using tidy cat for years, but they must have reformulated their product... The regular box, which is only scooped once a day/as needed vs every time the cat uses it, built up a full layer of urine mud on the bottom of the box in 2 days... You'll go through 4x as much litter when you have to scrub out the box completely every other day."

"* I've tried many kinds of cat litters over the years, for various reasons. Another brand was on sale, Tidy Cats was sold out and I needed litter right then and there, friends' recommendations, I wanted to try the natural cat litter, etc... Tidy Cats is the only litter brand that consistently clumps and keeps the boxes from reeking. Other brands I've tried will work for a while and then all of a sudden stop clumping well... We keep our boxes in the garage so things like dust and litter sticking to the cats are not a huge deal for us, since the dust would settle in the garage and the stuck on litter would be off the cat before they make it back into the house. However, when I pour new litter into the boxes there is low dust kickup (other brands would produce a cloud as I poured litter into the boxes) and I have not noticed litter granules anywhere other than just outside the litter boxes (I have a cat who likes to dig to China in the box)... "I never realized that most cat litters have some type of scent added to them... When I first poured it out of the box there was an overwhelming floral fragrance. I hated the scent of it and smelling the floral smell every time I had to scoop the box. So I went on a hunt for unscented litter and found the Tidy Cats Free & Clean... It is truly unscented, and has much less dust than the Arm & Hammer litter... I asked my brother if he thinks the litter box smells and he said he doesn't smell anything... I first ordered 2 20 lb jugs, and when I went to order it again, it was out of stock, so I ordered the 40lb box of litter."

"* I have been using this litter for about 1. 5 years now and I love it when I buy the version in the jugs - I don't know what it is but even though it's the exact same name I swear it is different litter between the 40lb box and the 20lb jugs... The litter in the jugs produces little to no dust and is awesome at both clumping and odor protection - I barely noticed a smell AT ALL even if I missed cleaning a couple days. As soon as I switched to the box after amazon stopped carrying the jugs for prime; completely different story - now the litter is super dusty, clumps break apart easily, and odor protection is not too great. Now my cat room that barely smelled the first year smells even though I clean the litter box almost every day, the smell isn't completely terrible but definitely more noticeable compared to before. If you like this brand I suggest sticking with the jugs and buying from somewhere else (I bought mine at target after this).

It had a really strong smell that permeate through my home, but it didn't disguise the smell of pee or poo... Even after cleaning the box the smell didn't go away unless you cleaned it out completely by washing it... When clumped it would be a massive lump that either stuck to the bottom and or sides of the litter box like cement OR fell apart into crumbs... Every other day I had to refill the litter box because of the huge clumps... I'm not saying that the smell is eliminated completely, but it's more tolerable on many levels. I'm not gagging when I'm cleaning it, and I don't have to muscle the clumps out, sometimes causing particles to fling past the box perimeter."

"I am very sensitive to scented products and the dust from most litters causes a slight rash and some itching... The scent is nice, it s light and fresh and doesn t have the fresh, but still smells like cat litter smell... While my cats are both kickers, and litter accumulates on the mat outside the litter box, there is minimal tracking throughout the rest of my home (except for the one and only time I bought the Lightweight Formula, and they tracked it everywhere). The scent does not linger for long, and it doesn t cling to my fur-babies after they ve made a trip into the box. It clumps well (especially with regular scooping, so it doesn t get too built up in certain spots), so scooping and clean up are very easy with little mess... I have tried other brands, including Arm&Hammer, Fresh Step, as well as some non-clay based litters, and this is by far my favorite, even out of all of the Tidy Cat litters. I have been consistently using it for around 3 years now, and have no intentions of switching anytime soon!"

"For some time I have been using the Tidy Cat Breeze system which I absolutely loved, had two of them for my cats. The only reason I stopped using it is because my one male cat starting going elsewhere!!!... My cat is NOT a stressed out cat by any means, so rather than put him on medication, I decided to try a few different things first. After a few things, I figured out that he just wanted more room..... The Breeze system is VERY SMALL for a litter box & I pray they come out with larger sizes!! I dreaded going back to litter again, but gotta do what you gotta do! Tidy Cat litter does a great job, always has and I love that I can have it delivered in the large size bucket since I am disabled and I cannot carry this myself."

"* I have been using tidy cat for years, but they must have reformulated their product... In both boxes the urine only loosely clumps, over soaking and causing black, urine soaked clay to remain in the box after scooping. I fully washed down the automatic litter box a week ago, and within 7 days there was a large, sticky, black spot of essentially pee mud caused by the litter... The regular box, which is only scooped once a day/as needed vs every time the cat uses it, built up a full layer of urine mud on the bottom of the box in 2 days. In our basement boxes we have used tidy cat dual action and are not seeing the same issue. The 24/7 is a joke, and the only reason I gave it two stars is because the smell of the litter is less offensive than the dual action smell... You'll go through 4x as much litter when you have to scrub out the box completely every other day."
