"I just wanted an inexpensive nice looking watch that can also hold up when working out or working, as I don't always like to wear my expensive watches and needed a beater watch.""It is much less expensive than another manufacturer's Navy Seal watches that still are only water resistance although to a higher pressure."
"I'm a nurse, and I needed a "work" watch that didn't break the bank (less than $100), had a second hand (RR and HR), something that displayed the day and date (I work 2nd/3rd shifts), show military time (24hr clock), be water proof/resistant (hand hygiene), and have a strap made of inorganic material (no leather, nylon, or canvas b/c I have to sanitize it regularly)."
"Both of my watches function fine still (meaning that even though I had submerged these in water all the time collecting samples and turning off submerged/flooded valves; they still fully tell time and date accurately and I can still use the bezel and the knob for adjustments), the straps weren't the greatest feeling/ looking, but they held up."
"I would highly recommend exchanging the band of this watch if your intent is to wear it everyday as it is pretty flimsy and won't last long."
"I could set the numeric date, but the day of the week was stuck on TUE and would not rotate to the next day."
"00: - An extremely legible analog time telling experience - A day and date window -100 meters / 330ft water resistant -A 43 x 12 MM case -A bi-direction numbered bezel -An accurate Japanese quarts movement -An all-black resin case and 18mm changeable band -Mineral Glass crystal -Extremely light overall weight under 2 ounces -No worries if its lost stolen or run over by a Mack truck You would be hard pressed to find a watch with all these benefits at any price."

"I just wanted an inexpensive nice looking watch that can also hold up when working out or working, as I don't always like to wear my expensive watches and needed a beater watch... I always go to my local watch shop to fit the band to the watch because I like to support local business and there is something cool about watch shops, and it wasn't expensive... Update Dec 2017: With the Nylon Nato Strap I really enjoy wearing this watch, because it's the lightest watch I own and I don't notice it.""* For the price this is an excellent 5 star purchase but there are a few relatively minor issues that I feel should not detract from my rating... It is much less expensive than another manufacturer's Navy Seal watches that still are only water resistance although to a higher pressure... I really like the large high contrast numbers and hands that make reading time very easy."

The watch also needed to have some type of nighttime illumination/glow-in-dark feature, and this was the only reason it didn't get 5/5 star rating... While this unit does in fact have illuminated hands, the material used in the coating is so very weak that it doesn't work with normal use (if u hold a pen-light on the face, the hands will glow quite nicely for about 10 min)."
"I really enjoyed the watch, I work outside a lot testing water quality around the city and I am dealing with some heavy pipes, so I didn't want a super fancy watch, but I wanted to keep track of time and not use my cell for a clock and timer... Both of my watches function fine still (meaning that even though I had submerged these in water all the time collecting samples and turning off submerged/flooded valves; they still fully tell time and date accurately and I can still use the bezel and the knob for adjustments), the straps weren't the greatest feeling/ looking, but they held up... Now, the reason it might not be the watch's fault is because that watch was exposed to 8-10 hours of heat and sunlight (pretty much non-stop) sweat, and being submerged in cold water through out those 8-10 hours, thus probably making the plastic brittle at it's greatest stress points (where the straps attach)."
"I would highly recommend exchanging the band of this watch if your intent is to wear it everyday as it is pretty flimsy and won't last long... Well, I had read the reviews of previous purchasers and was aware of many of this watches possible shortcomings in advance... I like how it looks and feels and would highly recommend it to someone looking for an affordable alternative to a Luminox or other high end brand."
"I could set the numeric date, but the day of the week was stuck on TUE and would not rotate to the next day... If anyone has the same problem and needs to see a photo of the clip, leave a comment and I will try to take a photo for you... If you like tactical style watches like the Luminox Navy Seal watches, but don't want to shell out $300+, you might like this watch."
"First, there are so many watch companies that make so many different watches, I don t know if you could count them if you tried... The broads white hands, large numbered indices and the deep black dial make this watch extremely easy to read from several feet away... 00: - An extremely legible analog time telling experience - A day and date window -100 meters / 330ft water resistant -A 43 x 12 MM case -A bi-direction numbered bezel -An accurate Japanese quarts movement -An all-black resin case and 18mm changeable band -Mineral Glass crystal -Extremely light overall weight under 2 ounces -No worries if its lost stolen or run over by a Mack truck You would be hard pressed to find a watch with all these benefits at any price."

"I've seen videos and read many reviews of people diving and swimming with this watch. I just wanted an inexpensive nice looking watch that can also hold up when working out or working, as I don't always like to wear my expensive watches and needed a beater watch... I read reviews about the band sometimes breaking, so I opted for a NATO Zulu strap which I ordered at the same time... I always go to my local watch shop to fit the band to the watch because I like to support local business and there is something cool about watch shops, and it wasn't expensive... Take it camping, beat it up, work with it and don't worry because it's cheap, but durable. Update Dec 2017: With the Nylon Nato Strap I really enjoy wearing this watch, because it's the lightest watch I own and I don't notice it... I'm probably going to get another one in a different color I like it so much.""* For the price this is an excellent 5 star purchase but there are a few relatively minor issues that I feel should not detract from my rating. The numbers and hands are very easy to read but the luminescence has become weak and requires exposure under a bright light to temporarily reenergize... The band has a cheap feel but I can't complain because the price is so low for this style of watch... Despite what the description states ("suitable for recreational diving"), I would never use a water resistant watch for SCUBA diving and own a fully waterproof stainless dive watch with a screw crown (though few use dive watches and rely on computers)... It is much less expensive than another manufacturer's Navy Seal watches that still are only water resistance although to a higher pressure. And unlike that much more expensive watch, this has the day as well as the date. I really like the large high contrast numbers and hands that make reading time very easy."
"* I shop thru Amazon often but I almost never write reviews which, I think says a lot about this product. I'm a nurse, and I needed a "work" watch that didn't break the bank (less than $100), had a second hand (RR and HR), something that displayed the day and date (I work 2nd/3rd shifts), show military time (24hr clock), be water proof/resistant (hand hygiene), and have a strap made of inorganic material (no leather, nylon, or canvas b/c I have to sanitize it regularly). The watch also needed to have some type of nighttime illumination/glow-in-dark feature, and this was the only reason it didn't get 5/5 star rating. I often give meds and/or admin procedures in the middle of the night, and it helps to be able see your watch without having to push a button, or repeatedly push it b/c the illumination keeps timing-out. While this unit does in fact have illuminated hands, the material used in the coating is so very weak that it doesn't work with normal use (if u hold a pen-light on the face, the hands will glow quite nicely for about 10 min)... 2012 and after heavy, rough use it just bit the the dust 4 years later (I'm here to purchase a 2nd one)... This is a great bang-for-your-buck buy, that I'd recommend to anyone (comes in several colors), especially essential services personnel."
"I really enjoyed the watch, I work outside a lot testing water quality around the city and I am dealing with some heavy pipes, so I didn't want a super fancy watch, but I wanted to keep track of time and not use my cell for a clock and timer... Both of my watches function fine still (meaning that even though I had submerged these in water all the time collecting samples and turning off submerged/flooded valves; they still fully tell time and date accurately and I can still use the bezel and the knob for adjustments), the straps weren't the greatest feeling/ looking, but they held up. No what the problem was is that the plastic that holds the spring in place for the straps breaks off and then I can't use it as a wrist watch. I have one watch face sitting on my desk and another attached to my keys so I am still getting some use out of them, but the fact that I no longer have a wrist watch is kind of sad. Now, the reason it might not be the watch's fault is because that watch was exposed to 8-10 hours of heat and sunlight (pretty much non-stop) sweat, and being submerged in cold water through out those 8-10 hours, thus probably making the plastic brittle at it's greatest stress points (where the straps attach)... So while the plastic might not be grade a material, I could have also been abusing the hell out of this watch. Again they still work as time pieces, they just aren't wrist watches anymore."
"The bezel is a nice addition, although it moves freely without any "clicking" making it a bit imprecise and prone to moving on its own. That isn't a big concern for me however, but be aware of it if you are considering this watch for the functionality of the bezel... I used a Benchmark 18mm black NATO strap and couldn't be more pleased with its comfort, look and feel. I would highly recommend exchanging the band of this watch if your intent is to wear it everyday as it is pretty flimsy and won't last long... Although the hands will glow after long exposure to light, they appear weak to me and lose their glow relatively quickly...
Since I was getting a new one, I decided to tinker with the first one to see if I could fix it... If anyone has the same problem and needs to see a photo of the clip, leave a comment and I will try to take a photo for you. For my review: This is a nice, inexpensive analog watch for wearing around the house. If you like tactical style watches like the Luminox Navy Seal watches, but don't want to shell out $300+, you might like this watch... However, its easy to read in light and seems to keep good time... If you need a watch you can see in the dark, this one won't work well."
"I have a few Casio watches and this one stands out among them. First, there are so many watch companies that make so many different watches, I don t know if you could count them if you tried... You can find many watches, both cheap and very expensive that have one major flaw. The clutter on the dial and poor contrast between the hands and the dial can make it downright difficult to tell time. The broads white hands, large numbered indices and the deep black dial make this watch extremely easy to read from several feet away... 00: - An extremely legible analog time telling experience - A day and date window -100 meters / 330ft water resistant -A 43 x 12 MM case -A bi-direction numbered bezel -An accurate Japanese quarts movement -An all-black resin case and 18mm changeable band -Mineral Glass crystal -Extremely light overall weight under 2 ounces -No worries if its lost stolen or run over by a Mack truck You would be hard pressed to find a watch with all these benefits at any price... I paid full price and have had no consideration of any kind for this review."
