"The watch has other functions like "Alarm" "Stopwatch" and "Timer," but I haven't tested any of those modes out, so I won't mention them here (still, it's nice to know they're available!""Its much more comfortable to wear on a daily basis and is only missing a couple of aspects of functionality that my previous Casio watch had (the countdown timer and keeping 5 different time-zones)."
"Add to that the fact that it's accurate enough you only really have to reset it when daylight savings comes in and out, and you can just put this on your wrist and forget it."
"Features include: stopwatch with split time, alarm with snooze, dual time for keeping track of another time zone, one touch 24hr button, calendar to 2099, good backlight, easy to push metal buttons, 100m water resist, not a huge monster of a watch to get caught on clothes."
"Two, it makes a different beep when you change the mode into the main time (the beep is higher pitched)--this helps you know that you are on the main screen and not accidentally on time, alarm, or dual time mode."
"I always have my phone alarm as a backup, and never have really depended on my watch to get me up which could be the reason why it hasn't been proficient at doing that up to this point."
"For $12 delivered, I have a new watch that boasts a 10 year battery, has a larger display, less unnecessary functions, and never requires repair as replacement is cheaper."

"I wanted an inexpensive watch to replace this one, and since I don't really go to any fancy meetings or upscale restaurants, and when I do, I have the appropriate watches for those events... The time is in a font that's large enough for anyone with moderate eyesight to understand, and the watch even tells us the date, time and day of the week! The watch has other functions like "Alarm" "Stopwatch" and "Timer," but I haven't tested any of those modes out, so I won't mention them here (still, it's nice to know they're available!""There is a slight issue with glare as when the watch is tilted away from you you can't see the digits... Watch is also very easy to set and a manual was not really needed for me as the labels to the side of the button on the screen tell you how to adjust the watch... Its much more comfortable to wear on a daily basis and is only missing a couple of aspects of functionality that my previous Casio watch had (the countdown timer and keeping 5 different time-zones)."
"* Many people don't wear watches anymore because they use their phones, but you still can't beat a watch for convenience... Add to that the fact that it's accurate enough you only really have to reset it when daylight savings comes in and out, and you can just put this on your wrist and forget it... The low price also means you get a resin (marketer-speak for "plastic") strap, but I actually think resin works better than the more expensive silicone for something this light."
"Features include: stopwatch with split time, alarm with snooze, dual time for keeping track of another time zone, one touch 24hr button, calendar to 2099, good backlight, easy to push metal buttons, 100m water resist, not a huge monster of a watch to get caught on clothes... Don't be scared by accuracy in manual I think it says plus or minus 30 sec/month, mine has been Pretty accurate so far for the first week with time... I do wonder if they were made in 2010, thus shortening the battery life expectation to more like 3-6 years (no backlight or alarm use in the box) or if I am just being pessimistic."
"5 months, I've been pretty rough with this thing--accidentally banging it on walls; dropping it; swimming with it (it's waterproof)--and the watch still looked as good as new while not messing with its time accuracy... If there's one thing I don't like about the watch, it's the beeping sound it makes whenever you press one of the buttons (excluding the LIGHT function)... Two, it makes a different beep when you change the mode into the main time (the beep is higher pitched)--this helps you know that you are on the main screen and not accidentally on time, alarm, or dual time mode."
"I am going to be heading out to some basic training here shortly and thought I should buy and get used to a watch that I can have there... And then secondly, unlike all these fancy shmancy smart watches, I don't have to charge the battery every few days, or once a week, or whatever... I always have my phone alarm as a backup, and never have really depended on my watch to get me up which could be the reason why it hasn't been proficient at doing that up to this point."
"For $12 delivered, I have a new watch that boasts a 10 year battery, has a larger display, less unnecessary functions, and never requires repair as replacement is cheaper... Time will tell on camping trips when it's pitch black inside the tent when I need to know how much more time I can sleep... With the money saved buying this $12 sports watch, I bought the $37 Fitness Tracker with Heart Rate Monitor, Runme Activity Tracker Smart Watch with Sleep Monitor, IP67 Water Resistant Walking Pedometer Band with Call/SMS Remind for iOS/Android Smartphone (Black) ."

"I wanted an inexpensive watch to replace this one, and since I don't really go to any fancy meetings or upscale restaurants, and when I do, I have the appropriate watches for those events... It might not impress anyone at a party, but then again, that wasn't my intention when purchasing the watch... The time is in a font that's large enough for anyone with moderate eyesight to understand, and the watch even tells us the date, time and day of the week! The watch has other functions like "Alarm" "Stopwatch" and "Timer," but I haven't tested any of those modes out, so I won't mention them here (still, it's nice to know they're available!... Overall, from what little time I've spent with the watch, I can easily say I'm more than satisfied with it. Casio has given the battery a life expectancy of 10 years, but well, if it dies before, I'll update this review for us. If you're just looking for an easy watch to understand, something practical and durable, then look no further, especially if you can find it for less than $10!""The Casio 5 timezone watch was almost the same size as the G-shock but lighter than the G-Shock... Its missing a countdown timer that my previous Casio had but not a deal breaker and I could live without it... There is a slight issue with glare as when the watch is tilted away from you you can't see the digits... The metal buttons have to be pressed tightly to turn on and I wish the buttons would have been plastic instead as to be more lighter and easier to press on... Watch is also very easy to set and a manual was not really needed for me as the labels to the side of the button on the screen tell you how to adjust the watch... I don't think this watch is brand new as when the watch came the date on the watch was 2010 and the band seemed worn and broken in...
The watch comes with an alarm, stopwatch and second timezone feature, none of which I consider all that useful... The 100m water resistance is also a huge plus in the convenience department; that's the minimum water resistance it's actually safe to swim with (ratings are based on completely still water). Add to that the fact that it's accurate enough you only really have to reset it when daylight savings comes in and out, and you can just put this on your wrist and forget it... The low price also means you get a resin (marketer-speak for "plastic") strap, but I actually think resin works better than the more expensive silicone for something this light... In the image I've attached, I've paired this watch with a "Goldfinger" style nylon NATO strap -- yes, that's a $40 band on a $13 watch, although you can get cheaper versions here on Amazon for under $10... As a watch collector I have maybe five digital watches in my collection, but this and the iconic F-91W are the only ones that get regular "wrist time"."
"Saw it elsewhere for more so I picked up a spare in case the strap or case where the lugs attach breaks, as some have experienced, and one to gift out to someone else. Features include: stopwatch with split time, alarm with snooze, dual time for keeping track of another time zone, one touch 24hr button, calendar to 2099, good backlight, easy to push metal buttons, 100m water resist, not a huge monster of a watch to get caught on clothes... Don't be scared by accuracy in manual I think it says plus or minus 30 sec/month, mine has been Pretty accurate so far for the first week with time... I don't think that would be worth the trouble, especially if you shower or swim with it... Buttons on the w800h are easier to press than on the g shock, especially the recessed adjust button the g shock has... On some others like the gshock dw5600e once you get to an hour the hundredths of a second change to seconds... I do wonder if they were made in 2010, thus shortening the battery life expectation to more like 3-6 years (no backlight or alarm use in the box) or if I am just being pessimistic."
"I wanted a watch to keep time; I don't need it to keep track of my sleep cycle or how much I ate throughout the day like a smart watch... 5 months, I've been pretty rough with this thing--accidentally banging it on walls; dropping it; swimming with it (it's waterproof)--and the watch still looked as good as new while not messing with its time accuracy. I was finally able to scratch the face of the watch by sliding it 30-40 feet on the gym floor into my bag (which was stupid--I should have just walked over lol). Even then, however, the scratch isn't that noticeable and it is still easy to read the watch. If there's one thing I don't like about the watch, it's the beeping sound it makes whenever you press one of the buttons (excluding the LIGHT function)... Two, it makes a different beep when you change the mode into the main time (the beep is higher pitched)--this helps you know that you are on the main screen and not accidentally on time, alarm, or dual time mode... When this one dies out years in the future due to a drained battery, I would strongly consider this one again."
"I am going to be heading out to some basic training here shortly and thought I should buy and get used to a watch that I can have there... No need to grab your stinking phone out of your pocket (which will end up being a scrolling session since you have it in your hand anyway). The two best things about this watch in my opinion are that it is waterproof. I can do dishes, shower, swim, run in the rain, sweat all over it etc and I don't have to worry about it... And then secondly, unlike all these fancy shmancy smart watches, I don't have to charge the battery every few days, or once a week, or whatever... The only thing that I'm concerned about right now is that the alarm isn't loud enough... I always have my phone alarm as a backup, and never have really depended on my watch to get me up which could be the reason why it hasn't been proficient at doing that up to this point."
"After replacing the battery, some of the buttons stopped working and the watch showed condensation after showering... My 17 year teenage son told me he favors inexpensive Casio watches that cost less than repairing my $70 GShock. For $12 delivered, I have a new watch that boasts a 10 year battery, has a larger display, less unnecessary functions, and never requires repair as replacement is cheaper... Time will tell on camping trips when it's pitch black inside the tent when I need to know how much more time I can sleep... If I get more than a year out of the $12 watch, I will be impressed... I bought the watch to display military time for work and for a digital stop watch that I can see while running high intensity intervals...
