"For the price, I'm not going to complain but now that I know I really enjoy water walking, when these wear out I will probably look for a better made water shoe."

"First I didn't know what to spect because I'm not used to use -hehe- water shoes, I love to be withouth shoes on the beach or wearing Flip Flops BUT since I became Diabetic a couple of years ago I had to get them to feel safe at the beach."

"I really didn't want to pay a ton of money for shoes that I'll only ever use once, so I was fine with these sort of breaking apart as long as they got me through the one use, which they did."

"They were still quite uncomfortable on the inside without the lining, and because there was some kind of sticky substance that I assume was originally supposed to prevent the linings from coming unstuck, the sand stuck to the insides and would not come out."

"The shoes were comfortable in the water, but when I first tried them on at home and wore them around the house a bit, they chafed."

"Bits of the black rubber bottom were coming off in the pool the first time my girls wore them."

"After two one-hour sessions in the pool, and just like another reviewer mentioned, the insole on both shoes came loose and started moving around the inside of the shoe as I worn them."

"They don't come in half sizes and it's recommended to order the next size up so I have size 8 water shoes on my size 7 1/2 feet... I don't like that the insoles slip back toward my heels (I'm water walking, not swimming, not swimming in these so there is a lot of friction against the floor of the pool)... For the price, I'm not going to complain but now that I know I really enjoy water walking, when these wear out I will probably look for a better made water shoe."

When I first tried them I felt them a liiittle loose but on the back they have a cord and you can put them thigh... hahaha They fit really good, they're comfortable, I felt protected and I walked around the whole beach, I walked on some rocks and corals and I didn't feel anything!"

"We were taking an excursion where you started out tubing in a river, so you needed something waterproof, but then it was a 20 minute walk after, so you needed something sturdy enough to walk through the jungle... I really didn't want to pay a ton of money for shoes that I'll only ever use once, so I was fine with these sort of breaking apart as long as they got me through the one use, which they did. They still have some more use in them as long as I can ignore the liner scrunching up around my feet."

"After ten minutes, the linings gave out and would not go back in; they bunched up and slipped around inside the shoe, making them impossible to walk in... They were still quite uncomfortable on the inside without the lining, and because there was some kind of sticky substance that I assume was originally supposed to prevent the linings from coming unstuck, the sand stuck to the insides and would not come out. Two weeks later, I still have sand stuck to the inside of these shoes even though I haven't worn them since that day."

"On a trip to Jamaica, I climbed Dunn's River Falls wearing these shoes... The ankle lacing holds them on very well--that was a feature I wanted to make sure I had so that the shoes wouldn't be likely to slip off. The shoes were comfortable in the water, but when I first tried them on at home and wore them around the house a bit, they chafed."

"My three daughters all wanted to join my water aerobics class for the summer, and I tried to "cheap out" by buying them these shoes... Bits of the black rubber bottom were coming off in the pool the first time my girls wore them... But I definitely would not consider them a valid choice for water aerobics because they are just too heavy."

"I bought these for my aqua boot camp, needing something to keep my feet from being torn up by the bottom of the pool... It was roomy, but I could tighten the shoe on my foot with the cord on the back... After two one-hour sessions in the pool, and just like another reviewer mentioned, the insole on both shoes came loose and started moving around the inside of the shoe as I worn them."

"They don't come in half sizes and it's recommended to order the next size up so I have size 8 water shoes on my size 7 1/2 feet. I like the fact that these are lightweight and dry relatively quickly after being in the pool. I don't like that the insoles slip back toward my heels (I'm water walking, not swimming, not swimming in these so there is a lot of friction against the floor of the pool)... The same thing happened to the Men's water shoes from this company that I had bought for my husband. For the price, I'm not going to complain but now that I know I really enjoy water walking, when these wear out I will probably look for a better made water shoe... There is a strange, almost "paper like" woven covering on the bottom of the shoe that is wearing off and can actually be PEELED off when loosened... I was wondering if it might be part of the manufacturing process as it looks like something that might be used to make sure the sole releases from the mold the rubber is poured into."

"First I didn't know what to spect because I'm not used to use -hehe- water shoes, I love to be withouth shoes on the beach or wearing Flip Flops BUT since I became Diabetic a couple of years ago I had to get them to feel safe at the beach. When I first tried them I felt them a liiittle loose but on the back they have a cord and you can put them thigh. My foot have a bit of room inside, when I used them at the beach I changed my mind..... hahaha They fit really good, they're comfortable, I felt protected and I walked around the whole beach, I walked on some rocks and corals and I didn't feel anything! The only thinng that came inside the shoe was the water and the sand... I recommend them, they seem to be pretty good quality and the color is Beautiful!... 5 Women shoes, my feets are narrow, I bought these in 6 and is a bit roomy, but not too loose and not tight at all."

"I bought these for a cruise to Belize. We were taking an excursion where you started out tubing in a river, so you needed something waterproof, but then it was a 20 minute walk after, so you needed something sturdy enough to walk through the jungle. As soon as these got wet, the liners came detached and started scrunching up around my feet. Also, the tread on the bottom started scraping off in big black chunks that were flapping around until I pulled them off. HOWEVER, they worked just fine for water use and walking around in the jungle. I really didn't want to pay a ton of money for shoes that I'll only ever use once, so I was fine with these sort of breaking apart as long as they got me through the one use, which they did. They still have some more use in them as long as I can ignore the liner scrunching up around my feet."

"After ten minutes, the linings gave out and would not go back in; they bunched up and slipped around inside the shoe, making them impossible to walk in. So I ditched the linings and proceeded to wear them without the linings (more uncomfortable but at least walkable) for the rest of the afternoon at the beach. By the end of the afternoon, the soles had worn down--the actual rubber soles themselves had deteriorated from a SINGLE DAY at the beach--and were disintegrating. They were still quite uncomfortable on the inside without the lining, and because there was some kind of sticky substance that I assume was originally supposed to prevent the linings from coming unstuck, the sand stuck to the insides and would not come out. Two weeks later, I still have sand stuck to the inside of these shoes even though I haven't worn them since that day. It seems like the glue was strong enough to hold sand in but not the linings! I wouldn't have bothered to write a bad review if the shoes had been $5 but for $18 I would have expected a higher quality."

"I haven't had these shoes very long, so I can't speak to their longevity, but they served my purpose well. On a trip to Jamaica, I climbed Dunn's River Falls wearing these shoes... The ankle lacing holds them on very well--that was a feature I wanted to make sure I had so that the shoes wouldn't be likely to slip off. The shoes were comfortable in the water, but when I first tried them on at home and wore them around the house a bit, they chafed. On top, where the emblem is attached, there are apparently some threads and seams that rubbed my foot uncomfortably. Again, this was not a problem in the water; the shoes were quite comfy there... They were long enough without being prone to slipping off."

"My three daughters all wanted to join my water aerobics class for the summer, and I tried to "cheap out" by buying them these shoes... But I read some of the other reviews, and some said they were great for water aerobics... They look cute, but they aren't well made. Bits of the black rubber bottom were coming off in the pool the first time my girls wore them... Perhaps they would be okay for playing around a river or something. But I definitely would not consider them a valid choice for water aerobics because they are just too heavy. Heavy shoes prevent you from doing many of the exercises properly---so at best you don't get the most out of your work out, and worse, you could injure yourself."

"I bought these for my aqua boot camp, needing something to keep my feet from being torn up by the bottom of the pool. I've never worn water shoes before, so wasn't sure what to expect... 5, and bought a size 8 (since they only come in full sizes). It was roomy, but I could tighten the shoe on my foot with the cord on the back. The toe box was very roomy, but fine. After two one-hour sessions in the pool, and just like another reviewer mentioned, the insole on both shoes came loose and started moving around the inside of the shoe as I worn them... I can't recommend them to anyone, as they didn't last long enough to even break them in."
