"Since we didn't have any other shoes along for this short campout, we kept wearing them.""I took them off under the water to clear them out a few times but after happening repeatedly my feet ended up starting to get sore enough that I decided I might as well not even wear them anymore because what's the difference?"
"Having said that, the price vs quality is acceptable and unless I was planning on really using these a lot (which I probably will only use a few times a year) they should be ok."
"After the shoes got wet, the insoles started to slip as other reviewers have mentioned."
"The only wear I've seen on these is a paper thin black covering on the bottom of the soles is peeling off, but I don't see any negative effect from it."
"But the sole is thick enough with a rugged pattern in the rubber sole that walking over a graveled surface i barely feel the rocks through the sole, nor would i expect to slip at the ramp.."
"These are really shotty shoes and I would not recommend them."

"I am not sure what shoes are being reviewed by those who give anything other than zero or one star, but the ones I received are worthless junk as far as I'm concerned... Since we didn't have any other shoes along for this short campout, we kept wearing them. With no insoles, they were like walking around on slabs of roughened rubber, which is probably exactly what we were doing.""After only a few hours of wearing them in and out of the water doing some moderate activities, I started getting lots of sand and some pretty big pebbles inside of them... I took them off under the water to clear them out a few times but after happening repeatedly my feet ended up starting to get sore enough that I decided I might as well not even wear them anymore because what's the difference?... The soles of the shoes had started tearing themselves apart from the rest of the shoes (almost as if out of pure hatred for one another)!"
"This would have received a 4 star rating if it wasn't for an issue that I noticed with the rubber soles... Having said that, the price vs quality is acceptable and unless I was planning on really using these a lot (which I probably will only use a few times a year) they should be ok... The left one came loose and any time I removed it it would fold back as I was pulling the sock/shoe off."
"After the shoes got wet, the insoles started to slip as other reviewers have mentioned... The inside seams also separated and whatever glue/material is in between the seams became a shredded mess of brown gluey paper-like stuff that was all over my feet and the inside of the shoes. The glue holding the insoles dissolved enough to let them start slipping and upon inspection, it looks like the only adhesive holding the insole down was a 2" strip of glue from a glue gun."
"Ordered these for a canoe trip with a river outfitter where shoes are required, but flip-flops aren't allowed... The only wear I've seen on these is a paper thin black covering on the bottom of the soles is peeling off, but I don't see any negative effect from it... I can't say how long the shoes will last, but based on my experience with one use, I'd recommend them for river shoes."
"My left foot is a half size smaller so the fit is a little too loose but I can do okay... But the sole is thick enough with a rugged pattern in the rubber sole that walking over a graveled surface i barely feel the rocks through the sole, nor would i expect to slip at the ramp.. As to arch support, these shoes are not meant to be worn for long walks but for wading as during the loading of your boat at the ramp."
"These are really shotty shoes and I would not recommend them... There is no reason why a pair of aqua shoes should fall apart after an hour of wearing them at the beach... Once they fill with sand they weigh your feet down and make it uncomfortable to wear and walk in."

"I am not sure what shoes are being reviewed by those who give anything other than zero or one star, but the ones I received are worthless junk as far as I'm concerned. My wife and I both ordered a pair of these from Amazon, for use in kayaking and canoeing. They fit pretty well and at first we were happy with them. But then we got them wet, and as we wore them around the campsite, they started disintegrating... First the insole came loose and wadded up under our toes... Since we didn't have any other shoes along for this short campout, we kept wearing them. With no insoles, they were like walking around on slabs of roughened rubber, which is probably exactly what we were doing.""Don't waste your money!... After only a few hours of wearing them in and out of the water doing some moderate activities, I started getting lots of sand and some pretty big pebbles inside of them. That can be somewhat expected of any water shoes but not this much! I took them off under the water to clear them out a few times but after happening repeatedly my feet ended up starting to get sore enough that I decided I might as well not even wear them anymore because what's the difference?... The soles of the shoes had started tearing themselves apart from the rest of the shoes (almost as if out of pure hatred for one another)!... On top of that the entire bottom of the soles were shedding so bad that there were huge inch to inch and a half chunks of rubber flapping around and hanging on for their lives! I'm not one for returning things, I just chalk things up as a lost cause usually, so I can't vouch for customer service or anything but I definitely will not be a repeat customer anytime soon based on the quality of my first purchase!"
"They were what I expected and they felt a little uncomfortable but acceptable (not size, but just inside feel)... Used them for at least 5 hours straight during the kayak portion of the trip. They were fine and did not have any unusual hot spots or cause any blisters at all. This would have received a 4 star rating if it wasn't for an issue that I noticed with the rubber soles... I thought I had some dry sea weed or something and pulled it off and it would just come off in sheets as if it was skin peeling... Having said that, the price vs quality is acceptable and unless I was planning on really using these a lot (which I probably will only use a few times a year) they should be ok... The left one came loose and any time I removed it it would fold back as I was pulling the sock/shoe off."
"They fit perfectly and are very comfortable until you get them wet... At most, 2 of those hours were in and out of water, walking over boulders, swimming, nothing crazy. After the shoes got wet, the insoles started to slip as other reviewers have mentioned... The inside seams also separated and whatever glue/material is in between the seams became a shredded mess of brown gluey paper-like stuff that was all over my feet and the inside of the shoes. The glue holding the insoles dissolved enough to let them start slipping and upon inspection, it looks like the only adhesive holding the insole down was a 2" strip of glue from a glue gun... Even at this price, I would expect more than 1 use out of them. I'm a 48 year old cruise ship vacationer, not some 22 year old adrenaline junkie putting these shoes through some insane terrain test."
"Ordered these for a canoe trip with a river outfitter where shoes are required, but flip-flops aren't allowed. I never intended for them to make a fashion statement, but to protect my feet from rocks in the river... I've only used them the one time so far, but they held together without damage. My son wore a pair of another brand that had 2 holes in the upper foot covering by the end of the day. The only wear I've seen on these is a paper thin black covering on the bottom of the soles is peeling off, but I don't see any negative effect from it. The rubber sole is intact beneath this thin layer... I can't say how long the shoes will last, but based on my experience with one use, I'd recommend them for river shoes."
"A 10 may have been better since they don't come in half sizes. These fit my right foot with some room to spare. My left foot is a half size smaller so the fit is a little too loose but I can do okay. They are not expensive so order two pair for a better fit and return one. But the sole is thick enough with a rugged pattern in the rubber sole that walking over a graveled surface i barely feel the rocks through the sole, nor would i expect to slip at the ramp.. As to arch support, these shoes are not meant to be worn for long walks but for wading as during the loading of your boat at the ramp... They appear well constructed with an elastic draw string."
"They also shredded up on the bottom after less then an hour of wearing them. These are really shotty shoes and I would not recommend them... There is no reason why a pair of aqua shoes should fall apart after an hour of wearing them at the beach... The fact that it filled with sand the second I hit the beach was frustrating... Just know that you get what you pay for. I would suggest you just go barefoot as opposed to wearing these. Once they fill with sand they weigh your feet down and make it uncomfortable to wear and walk in."
