"This was the first year we have had fleas in the house (other than on the pets), but this time they were on a mission to take over the house... Started spraying down all the furniture (couches, beds, chairs), all the carpets and rugs, the cat (he didn't appreciate it very much, but it was a lot easier than the flea bath we gave him days earlier!... I have already decided that if I do see significant results after a few days that I am planning on purchasing more of this for if I ever need them again, or even just to do a little maintenance here and there to make sure they don't come back."

"First I want to point out as to why dogs can not be bathed everyday and that is because they need their natural oils in order to prevent dry skin which causes the loss od fur; especially if the dog is an outdoor dog... Vet s Best Natural Flea + Tick Home Spray can prevent you from buying other products since it comes in one... As I mention in my previous paragraph it acts as dry shampoo and if you were to buy another dry shampoo from another brand, there wouldn t be the benefits of getting rid of fleas and you would still buy it for the same price."

"When it was really hot around August, I sprayed them about every 3 days (which might have been more than needed - but it doesn't hurt them at all and I had absolutely no flees or ticks!... I see some people have posted that their cats get sick on this stuff, but that's because cats can not metabolize natural plant oils like dogs and humans can (and you know how cats like to lick their fur... ) I also want to note that if you already have a bad infestation of flees in your house, you might have to do a flee bomb first (I did this before I moved into our new home a year ago)."

"Some breeds are more seceptible than others too, so if you decide to use a pesticide type product, you should at least check and make sure that your breed is not one of the higher risk breeds... Remember too, that since it is a chemical, a deadly poison, it can also raise your companions liklihood of contracting cancer and other such diseases that toxic chemicals are known to cause and these diseases may not show up for many years and are almost never attributed to the toxic flea control you had used. I hope that your companion never suffers effects like that, but there could also be other less traumatic effects on your companion too that could trigger vet visits and over the years of your companions life and could potentially cost you thousands of $$$$ in vet bills and medication, again, never being attributed to the toxic effects of the pesticides in the flea control you are or had used, for years or years ago."

"I do use a monthly flea drop on my dog, to prevent her from bringing the fleas inside the home- but I wanted to give this a try to make my carpeted home as unpleasant for the little buggers as possible... I was pleased to have not noticed any new bites for a few days, but I imagine that is about all this product can do... All in all it is a good product to have on hand, and if you can choke down the clove smell and perhaps not use it on your dogs if they have sensitive skin, it will work for you in the short term!"

"Inside however, I'm spotting fleas everywhere and while I (lucky girl that I am) don't get bitten, everyone else is getting ravaged... I saw Vet's Best ratings and after checking out the reviews I was shocked to learn that so many people found this spray effective while it contained no harsh chemicals or poisons. I was skeptical to say the least but I figured I would give this a try before I called in the exterminator and if it didn't work out, I would just return it."

"Last year, I used Frontline on my dog and even though it eventually killed the fleas (don't have much of a tick problem) it did nothing to discourage them... Even though I haven't really had to use to combat fleas and ticks yet, and figure I may have to combine them with a couple of anti-flea strategies, for the following reasons ALONE, I'm giving it five stars... I don't worry about spraying a bit on me or my little dog to ward off mosquitoes on me or fleas on him this summer."

"This was the first year we have had fleas in the house (other than on the pets), but this time they were on a mission to take over the house... By that night and the next day I started to notice things just about back to how it was before bombing... I got on Amazon and Google and started searching for something that would work, and that would also be safe and easy enough to use around the kids and pets..... Started spraying down all the furniture (couches, beds, chairs), all the carpets and rugs, the cat (he didn't appreciate it very much, but it was a lot easier than the flea bath we gave him days earlier!... One jumped off right away and I saw it start hoping on the bed, until finally it stopped hoping (only a few seconds after spraying)... Now an hour later my leg is still fine (I actually ended up putting this product all over both my legs while I finished spraying)... I have already decided that if I do see significant results after a few days that I am planning on purchasing more of this for if I ever need them again, or even just to do a little maintenance here and there to make sure they don't come back."

"Vet s Best Natural Flea + Tick Home Spray for Dogs & Cats is one of the items dog owners need to have; it is multi-purpose, affordable and made with natural ingredients... First I want to point out as to why dogs can not be bathed everyday and that is because they need their natural oils in order to prevent dry skin which causes the loss od fur; especially if the dog is an outdoor dog... It showed that the system benefits are: No chemical pyrethrins or permethrins, Endorsed by veterinarians, Safe around children, Kills fleas, flea eggs, and ticks by contact while repelling mosquitos... I can guarantee that owners will feel confortable spraying this on their dogs everyday with out feeling the over usage of chemicals... Vet s Best Natural Flea + Tick Home Spray can prevent you from buying other products since it comes in one... As I mention in my previous paragraph it acts as dry shampoo and if you were to buy another dry shampoo from another brand, there wouldn t be the benefits of getting rid of fleas and you would still buy it for the same price... Dog owner s other concerns is leaving their house smelling good and free from fleas while their dogs are inside."

"Not only did the heavy duty stuff not work completely in the bad summer months, but there's a lot of evidence that the chemicals cause cancer (think about it - it's a pesticide and the instructions warn humans not to touch it)... Personally, I like the smell of Vet's Best peppermint and clove oil blend - it beats the smell of chemicals any day!... I spray my dogs about ounce a week; now that it's winter I might only spray them about every other week. When it was really hot around August, I sprayed them about every 3 days (which might have been more than needed - but it doesn't hurt them at all and I had absolutely no flees or ticks!... Someone suggested to spray a washcloth and then rub the fur with it - I just spray it on directly...

" Vet's Best Natural Flea + Tick Home Spray, 32 oz This product worked GREAT for me!... It may also be absorbed into your companions organs and/or glands and and may remain there in their bodies and continue to accumulate for your companions entire life, potentially causing problems many years later... Some breeds are more seceptible than others too, so if you decide to use a pesticide type product, you should at least check and make sure that your breed is not one of the higher risk breeds... Remember too, that since it is a chemical, a deadly poison, it can also raise your companions liklihood of contracting cancer and other such diseases that toxic chemicals are known to cause and these diseases may not show up for many years and are almost never attributed to the toxic flea control you had used. I hope that your companion never suffers effects like that, but there could also be other less traumatic effects on your companion too that could trigger vet visits and over the years of your companions life and could potentially cost you thousands of $$$$ in vet bills and medication, again, never being attributed to the toxic effects of the pesticides in the flea control you are or had used, for years or years ago. Unfortunately, thousands of our companions die every year from these flea products too and their deaths are virtually never attributed to the toxic effects of the Flea Control their owners had used... It is my opinion that they are not worth the risk, especially when there are all natural and NON-TOXIC alternatives on the market that work too."

"My dog and I are both allergic to flea bites and I was on the lookout for a natural repellent because chemical foggers and bombs don't rub me the right way. I do use a monthly flea drop on my dog, to prevent her from bringing the fleas inside the home- but I wanted to give this a try to make my carpeted home as unpleasant for the little buggers as possible... I sprayed my carpets with this, all over the house and even went the extra step of applying it to my dog as the directions state. You'll find that when rubbing this product into your dogs fur, it lathers like a soap... I was pleased to have not noticed any new bites for a few days, but I imagine that is about all this product can do... Due to the smell, and the fact that it dried my dogs skin means I probably will use this product sparingly as an extra preventative measure, but I don't feel it's capable of being an exclusive remedy for flea control. All in all it is a good product to have on hand, and if you can choke down the clove smell and perhaps not use it on your dogs if they have sensitive skin, it will work for you in the short term!"

"Because of them, my house has been invaded by the pests and my poor house cat was infested within days... Inside however, I'm spotting fleas everywhere and while I (lucky girl that I am) don't get bitten, everyone else is getting ravaged. Revolution spot treatment was great for killing the fleas on my kitty but they are in the bedding, pillows, and rugs. I saw Vet's Best ratings and after checking out the reviews I was shocked to learn that so many people found this spray effective while it contained no harsh chemicals or poisons. I was skeptical to say the least but I figured I would give this a try before I called in the exterminator and if it didn't work out, I would just return it... Next up was to see if this was actually an effective insecticide so I went outside and walked around until a couple of fleas jumped up onto my ankles... The ran around in little circles before dying off and I happily flicked them off before heading inside and spraying down the living room."

"Last year, I used Frontline on my dog and even though it eventually killed the fleas (don't have much of a tick problem) it did nothing to discourage them. And I didn't like using this on my small dog, was looking for a safer, more natural option. Even though I haven't really had to use to combat fleas and ticks yet, and figure I may have to combine them with a couple of anti-flea strategies, for the following reasons ALONE, I'm giving it five stars... It was redecorated, but it's very old and sometimes there are spider mites or something... Even though some scents bother me to the point of headache, this one does not (although I do use sparingly)... I don't worry about spraying a bit on me or my little dog to ward off mosquitoes on me or fleas on him this summer... I will update in a month or so when flea and tick season is upon us, but so far, it's WELL worth the money for what it does do and the cost."
