"They are far superior in my opinion to Rainbows because they offer better support, the toe doesn't have that nasty habit of folding under and tripping you and the multiple straps keep the sandal on much better, which is a bonus for us "old people.""This means there is really no traction on the bottom and, while the soles do somewhat mold to your feet, they always feel like unsupportive flip flops, unsuitable for substantial walks."
"These are the ONLY sandals I can wear for more than 8 hours without having shooting pain in the balls of my feet."
"I thought the flip flop design was both cute and functional (holding in your foot more than the traditional two strap design), and appreciated the waterproof nature of these sandals."
"I bought these looking for something with some arch support so that I could get away with not wearing close toed shoes for a day every once in awhile but still having support without my inserts."
"They have more arch support than regular flip flops and the extra straps keep me from having to grip them with my toes."
"They're very comfy and having worn orthotics for years, I've been pleased that I can wear these even to Disney World for the day and not deal with foot pain."

"But I wore them anyway because I am a stubborn donkey like that and I am NOT paying return shipping for anything under $10,000 and within an hour it had magically molded itself to fit my foot!!... I don't have a flatfoot, or high arches or any kind of special foot-need like that so I cannot comment in that capacity; but as your run-of-the-mill "foot" they are great. They are far superior in my opinion to Rainbows because they offer better support, the toe doesn't have that nasty habit of folding under and tripping you and the multiple straps keep the sandal on much better, which is a bonus for us "old people.""This means there is really no traction on the bottom and, while the soles do somewhat mold to your feet, they always feel like unsupportive flip flops, unsuitable for substantial walks... Initially I liked the nice strap system because it made them a little less floppy than your average flip flops, and that's one of the reasons I had decided to purchase them... That's probably not an issue for some, but I have a toddler to chase and can't spend a few extra seconds trying to get my flip flops on."
"These are the ONLY sandals I can wear for more than 8 hours without having shooting pain in the balls of my feet... I feel that I can wear these sandals with a cute summer outfit, athletic clothes, or jean and a T-shirt and they still look cute (not masculine)... However- for the money, I would buy these year after year because they do mold to my feet well and are so comfortable."
"I thought the flip flop design was both cute and functional (holding in your foot more than the traditional two strap design), and appreciated the waterproof nature of these sandals. I am a longtime Reef flipflop user and really appreciate the type of arch support that these sandals give -- I wouldn't have purchased the Tevas w/o the arch support!... I definitely wouldn't mind wearing them again, and they definitely did keep my feet happy through all the walking around, swimming, etc."
"The straps felt way too tight and I just knew that when I walked in them for more than a minute they would be cutting into my feet and giving me blisters... For some reason the next day I decided I would give them one more try and put them on to just walk around the house and see if they actually bothered me... I bought these looking for something with some arch support so that I could get away with not wearing close toed shoes for a day every once in awhile but still having support without my inserts."
"They have more arch support than regular flip flops and the extra straps keep me from having to grip them with my toes... I have a pretty average width foot, while my daughter's feet run on the narrow side - these flip flops seem to accommodate us both... They do squish down a bit with many miles of wear, but that's just a really good excuse to buy a new pair in a different color and add to my collection!"
"Bought my first pair in 2006 and wore them for three years and they still hadn't worn out... They're very comfy and having worn orthotics for years, I've been pleased that I can wear these even to Disney World for the day and not deal with foot pain... I haven't tried them on in a store since my first pair so I don't know how an 8 would fit but I'm happy these do as I can't send them back from overseas."

"There were about 795 five-star reviews for these sandals and 3 or 4 one-stars so did something absolutely CRAZY and skipped reading the one-stars - I know, insane, right? When they first arrived, the left sandal's straps were a bit loose and I was sad. But I wore them anyway because I am a stubborn donkey like that and I am NOT paying return shipping for anything under $10,000 and within an hour it had magically molded itself to fit my foot!!... I don't have a flatfoot, or high arches or any kind of special foot-need like that so I cannot comment in that capacity; but as your run-of-the-mill "foot" they are great. If you're also looking to branch out from Rainbows or your usual summer sandal, give these a try. I've worn Tevas in the past and these don't have the hard footbed of the old-school sandal circa 1995 that came with the adjustable toe and ankle straps.""I like these Teva flip flops, but I just want to mention a few things that might be helpful for online purchasers who haven't seen these prior to ordering them. First, they simply have regular flip flop soles, like you would buy when buying cheapo flip flops. This means there is really no traction on the bottom and, while the soles do somewhat mold to your feet, they always feel like unsupportive flip flops, unsuitable for substantial walks. I think I thought that since they were Tevas, I'd be getting a more Teva-like sole, not unlike that of Keens, Chacos, or Fitflops... Initially I liked the nice strap system because it made them a little less floppy than your average flip flops, and that's one of the reasons I had decided to purchase them... These are very hard to get on or off when your feet are wet; they cease to be slip-on and require a bit more time. That's probably not an issue for some, but I have a toddler to chase and can't spend a few extra seconds trying to get my flip flops on."
"I have an abnormally high arch in my foot and wear custom insoles in all my other shoes. These are the ONLY sandals I can wear for more than 8 hours without having shooting pain in the balls of my feet... ( A few years ago the sole was not sturdy, but Teva updated the sole and the sole is thick now)... I feel that I can wear these sandals with a cute summer outfit, athletic clothes, or jean and a T-shirt and they still look cute (not masculine)... However- for the money, I would buy these year after year because they do mold to my feet well and are so comfortable... Also, they are not as easy as flip-flops to put on and off quickly... Overall, I LOVE these sandals and recommend them to my friends and family as a very comfortable, affordable, sporty-cute sandal!"
"I purchased these sandals on the recommendation of a friend of mine who had used them while backpacking in Europe two years ago. I thought the flip flop design was both cute and functional (holding in your foot more than the traditional two strap design), and appreciated the waterproof nature of these sandals. I am a longtime Reef flipflop user and really appreciate the type of arch support that these sandals give -- I wouldn't have purchased the Tevas w/o the arch support!... I will say that they seemed to compact faster than the Reefs I owned previously, but still cradled my feet well. I threw them away at the end of the trip when I forgot to air them out and packed them, soaking wet from a hostel bathroom, into a ziplock bag... I was heading home the next day and trying to reduce my load as much as possible, so although they could've probably been salvaged (a good wash, perhaps some disinfectant and a baking in the sun), I decided to toss them... I definitely wouldn't mind wearing them again, and they definitely did keep my feet happy through all the walking around, swimming, etc."
"The straps felt way too tight and I just knew that when I walked in them for more than a minute they would be cutting into my feet and giving me blisters... For some reason the next day I decided I would give them one more try and put them on to just walk around the house and see if they actually bothered me. The straps stretched out significantly in a short amount of time and I wore them all day long. I have to wear custom made orthodics in my shoes every day and was really missing wearing sandals/flipflops. I bought these looking for something with some arch support so that I could get away with not wearing close toed shoes for a day every once in awhile but still having support without my inserts. These shoes ended up being very comfortable and I'm so glad that I did not return them as I thought I would. I've worn them several times over the month and they have been great."
"This pair was for my nine-year-old who tried mine on one day and fell in love with the comfort. I hurt my ankle many years ago, and regular flip flops make my foot/ankle ache after a few hours' wear. These provide all day comfort, even when I'm doing a lot of walking...... They have more arch support than regular flip flops and the extra straps keep me from having to grip them with my toes... I have a pretty average width foot, while my daughter's feet run on the narrow side - these flip flops seem to accommodate us both... My first pair is over ten years old and I still wear them comfortably. They do squish down a bit with many miles of wear, but that's just a really good excuse to buy a new pair in a different color and add to my collection!"
"Bought my first pair in 2006 and wore them for three years and they still hadn't worn out. Got my second pair as a gift in 2009 and they lasted until the end of 2013 when I realized I had worn through the sole and the hard part of the sole was gone and now picking up stones and African thorns... I bought another pair and we'll see how it does traveling in Africa and if the sole is strong enough against thorns and rocks and such. They're very comfy and having worn orthotics for years, I've been pleased that I can wear these even to Disney World for the day and not deal with foot pain... The straps also hold well and I've worn them for light hiking or long walks... But with sandals I can go with an 8 to 8 because the footbed fits and I don't' have to worry about scrunching my toes... I haven't tried them on in a store since my first pair so I don't know how an 8 would fit but I'm happy these do as I can't send them back from overseas."
