Munchkin Arm Hammer Diaper Pail Refill Bags, 900 Count (30 bags)

"I've been using the Munchkin Arm & Hammer Diaper Bag Refill Bags since my little girl was born. The diaper pail itself is shorter than the Diaper Genie, but it has a compartment at the top that holds Baking Soda that you can add, which is really helpful to absorb nasty odors of the diaper pail. The Bags are incredible durable and are made to snap closed when you are taking it out. A couple things to consider before buying it: 1) You have to fold and "snap" the bag together, then pull it through the open compartment door on the side. It can be difficult, even annoying. But once you get past the squeezing it through the door that opens on the side, it's simple to carry to the trash. It never breaks. 2) It doesn't hold as many diapers as it should be able to. It's because of the weight of the diapers. It turns as you close the lid, sealing in odor. If it's weighed down by too many diapers, it won't rotate or close. Problem is, the diaper bag can hold at least 4-5 more diapers, depending on the size you use. So, I have a small wooden block that elevates the bag inside the pail, enabling me to add more diapers and not waste bags. Any way to save money right? Truly, though, the pail itself doesn't hold as many diapers as it could unless you improvise. If this doesn't concern you, then it's really just a great product. I just like to save as much money as possible and not waste the room that could be used to hold even more diapers. Aside from those minor issues..... I share a room with my now 15 month old and I can tell you that after changing some really poopy messes, this thing has never one time stunk me outta the room. I recommend it to anyone. !!!"

"We received the Munchkin Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail, White as a Vine product to test--and really liked it. These are the bags that fit that diaper pail, and I do like how they work...so much so that we've bought about 20 refill boxes since we got the first batch (included in the diaper pail box). This says something because I was one of those moms that said they'd never spend money on "special" diaper pail bags. They are really easy to use--just take one out of the box and leaving the plastic ring folded in half (to fit through the opening), insert it through the top (or up from the bottom), unfold the plastic ring and tuck the four tabs into the four slots to keep it in position. That's it. And honestly, it sounds a bit more difficult than it really is. The only somewhat misleading this is that the box has in REALLY BIG PRINT that the 10 bags hold up to 250 diapers (25 diapers per bag) which sounds really good. And then in much smaller print (that you can't see on the given photo) it says that total is based on Size 1 infant diapers. (This information IS included in Amazon's product description, but sometimes people don't read all of it so I'm pointing it out in the review.) I haven't counted the Size 4 or Size 5 diapers that we can fit in there, but I'd guess it's around 3-4 days' worth (15-18)...still worth it to me. I would highly recommend both the pail and the bags to anyone. We liked it so much we actually bought a second unit for the second floor nursery!"

"We bought this b/c it made sense: baking soda absorbs scents; that's why people used to put the boxes in their refrigerators! That said, they totally work. The pale used to be in our room while she slept in our room, and you never noticed the smell (except sometimes when you open it, but it's gone immediately & never stuck around). Then when she moved into her room, so did the pale. I get them to last longer by taking the bag out when you can't add more and fill it up until it's full to the brim - you still can't smell the diapers, even when it's not inside the pail, so I'm happy. The plastic is very sturdy, b/c right now, we live in a stairwell on the 4th floor, and have to carry the bag downstairs - never had a problem with them tearing or anything like that (though, typically, you catch the smell on the way down the stairs from all the moving around, but this is the ONLY time I'm ever subjected the smell - on the way to trash!) Great product - would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pail of their own!"

"I have the Munchkin Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail System so it was a given that I need to get these. Yes they do hold the smell in but I have a newborn (3 1/2 weeks old) who's exclusively breastfed and she goes through diapers like there's no tomorrow. In one day she may have used 12 diapers and since these bags claim to only hold 25 that's using 1 bag in 2 days. Yes they may hold 25 newborn/size 1 diapers but if you have a bigger baby you'll be holding less but you may also be using less bags since older babies don't go through as much diapers as a newborn. Personally it might have been cheaper getting a diaper pail that uses regular trash bags since these are turning out to be a rather expensive purchase. Yes the diaper pail do make your nursery decor look better but with a new baby you need to save as much as you can. I'd say forget these and use a cheaper alternative, trash or grocery bags and throw your diapers out daily."

"I ordered these after getting tired of buying the 10 pack that I could find in the store. I'll break down my review into a few categories: Convenience- I find these very convenient since I don't have to buy them as often and this is not an item you want to run out of! Value- This cost per bag in the 30 pack is slightly cheaper than the per bag price in the 10 pack I was getting at the store locally, so it is a good value, as long as I get free shipping with my order. Product Satisfaction- These bags do their job. They twist open at the top, allowing me to insert the dirty diaper and twist closed when I shut the lid. I am pregnant with our second baby and am sensitive to smell, so covering up/containing the stinky diaper smell is a must and these bags work! We also refill the lid with baking soda every month or so, which also helps."

"These were a neat idea over the Diaper Genie which I had in the past. I bought the cute pink and white pail and many refills of the bags. Well for a while, they were fine. Then, all of the sudden I kept having the bags split open inside the pail! I wouldn't know it until I went to add another diaper and the smell that came out of the top was horrible! Once the bag splits open and the poopy smell gets inside the plastic of the pail, it's all over! Good luck removing it. I've used Lysol and tried airing it out outdoors...nothing works. The baking soda is no match once the plastic gets smelly. Not sure why the bags keep tearing open. It's not because they are overfull. Another complaint...They do not hold nearly as many as they state. Once they get about half full, you cannot close the lid so you have to replace the bags. Bad design. Others have commented about the same problem. I would not recommend this item."

"These bags work great. I have used this diaper pail for three years and have never had a single bag tear. It does a good job at keeping the smells contained, but no diaper disposal system is going to be perfect at locking away smells. When you pull the bag out of the pail there is sometimes a poo smell seeping through as you take it to the garage. I find the bags to be expensive and if you have multiple babies or are in bigger diapers you will definitely wish it held more. I feel like I an constantly emptying it, but I have two in size 4 diapers and one smaller. I take it out about every other day. If you are wanting to save a bit of money, you can keep this by your normal trash can and just put poop diapers in it while tossing wet diapers into the normal trash can. If your family is like ours, the main trash goes out often enough that they don't start smelling."
