LAMPHUS CRUIZER Off Road ATV/Jeep LED Light Bar Wiring Harness Kit - 40 Amp Relay ON/OFF Switch

"Used this on my 2005 Jeep wrangler TJ for windshield mounted LED lights. Works like well. Mine was shipped without the male disconnects but the company was more than willing to send them to me quickly along with a wiring diagram. It helped but I ended up wiring them myself anyways. Heres what I did... There was a nice screw between my battery and fuse box (actually the screw for the fuse box mount). This is what i mounted my relay to and the very short ground wire to as well after I sanded down to bare metal. Then I took the three wires (white, red, black) that are attacked to the white clip for the switch and ran them through the firewall. I grounded the wire (the black one) from that white clip to a screw located where the strap for the door connects so it doesn't fling open and hit the fender. I took the positive (red) wire from the white clip and attached it to the positive battery. The other red wire from the relay that has the fuse halfway along the wire and also attached it to the positive terminal. I hooked up my lights (white = positive, black = negative). Plugged in the switch.... clicked the switch... and there ya have it!!! not bad for a 19 year old that had no idea what was going on.. Note: If you plan on using that switch till it breaks, I recommend finding a wire that is only active when ignition is on. Then take the red wire from the white clip and attach it to that. That way that annoying bright red LED isnt on at all times when your car is just sitting there... Also, I noticed that for my use, this harness cut it awfully close to being too short. I only have about 2 maybe 3 inches of the white clip sticking through the firewall. I had a hard time finding a good location for the ground and I have the relay less than an inch from the battery. I had enough wire to reach my windshield lights but any farther away and I would have been doing some wire splicing.... YES the switch does kinda suck. I actually just orderd an aftermarket OEM zombie lights one for my TJ to replace this one. It does however do the job, but you can feel how cheap it really is. I only used this harness to test my lights so far (10 minutes on or so) since my brackets haven't come in yet, but I dont see any trouble with it after some use. Note 2: I did hear a hum come from LED lights when they were powered on, but that probably is just my circuit board in the lights and not the harness. $26 for the pair of 27watt round spots on ebay... great deal.. i will deal with the hum.. I will try a different ground put i'm pretty positive it is my lights. Will update if anything goes wrong"

"This kit comes with everything you need to wire up a light bar. I bought a different switch beforehand since the one in this kit looks a little ridiculous, which isn't a problem since the switch isn't hard wired into the harness so no cutting or splicing necessary. The wiring diagram that comes with it was easy enough to read. A word of warning though for people like me who have little to no experience with switched relays... trust the wiring diagram. I set this up on a spare battery in my house to give me more room for error while I learned how to properly wire everything up before installing on my truck and good thing I did. It was a lot easier to see what I did wrong the first time and to correct it, as well as put out the small fire I started by not following the diagram. All is well though. I only destroyed the 18 gauge wire between the battery and the switch and none of the actual harness had to feel the brunt of my mistake. Unless you've got a power source to tap into inside the car, the wire that comes with this kit isn't long enough to span the distance between the switch and battery. Not a big issue considering spools of replacement wire are cheap and plentiful and chances are if you're installing a harness and light system, you're probably planning to do some level of custom wiring anyway. In the end (when wired correctly), this harness has absolutely no issues powering a single 120 watt 20" LED light bar and it correctly lights up the little LED in my switch when the system is turned on as well as turning the switch LED off when the system is turned off. I will definitely be back to buy more of these when I inevitably put a third and/or fourth light bar on my truck."

"Just like all the other reviews say, the harness works great - great lengths, easy to install. Mine didn't come with any installation instructions. While they aren't really needed and you can go off the photo on the Amazon page, I did contact the seller. I heard back from them the next day and they emailed me a wiring diagram. It's more detailed and higher resolution than what's in the product description. I'd upload it as an additional photo but this listing won't let me. Communication with the company was great! They responded very quickly. Unfortunately, once I got the wiring all completed, I pushed the switch and...nothing! I was so bummed. I first made sure the lights worked (used wire straight to battery). Then used a different switch I had handy (works but too big for permanent install) and that switch both lit up and turned the lights on. So I narrowed the problem to the provided switch. I contacted the company and they sent me a new switch - I got it 2 days after I contacted them. Again, great service! Again, though, the switch didn't work. LEDs don't light up or anything. My other switch does work, so I know the wiring's all good. Summary: Pros: Great harness, great lengths, easy to install, great customer service Cons: Two of two switches did not work. Took some frustrating troubleshooting to narrow it down to the switch. Now I'm going to go buy a new switch (additional expense) to get my setup completed."

"Don't buy this harness if your light bar is larger than 32 inches. I bought this and used it with a 42 inch light bar - the wire was extremely hot within 20 minutes of use. The wire gauge they used is not close to enough needed to support a 42-50 inch light bar. I suggest using this with smaller light bars or pods, because this harness will work safely with them. This seller does have a "heavy duty" version, and my friend bought that one only to find out it was the exact same harness as this one. Maybe it was a mistake but good thing he saw it. I have returned the product for a refund."

"Great harness, used twice to add lights to my 2011 Wrangler JKU. Kit is a little lacking on instructions, but was simple for me to figure out. The only thing I didn't like was the power wire that provides power to the switch wasn't fused. I simply cut the relay supply power wire after the fuse and used a butt connector to tap it there. Not a fan of running a 12V hot wire anywhere without it being fused. If not for that i'd give 5 stars. Also - if you're planning to run the wires thru a hole in the firewall be prepared to snip off the pre-installed connectors that go to the back of the switch. I snipped them off and then crimped on some more once thru the penetration. FYI. the switch takes a 1" diameter hole."

"I ordered this wiring kit as a frequently purchased together promotion at the bottom of the page for my light bar. I have it paired with the Eyourlife 52'' led light bar and it does its job well. The instructions were clearly printed and easy to follow, with well worded directions and clear diagrams. This was my first time installing any kind of aftermarket light and it could not have been made easier. The only thing to note is that the wiring that runs from the light down to the connectors is rather short and did not even make it to the bottom of the windshield on my jeep wrangler. The wiring was also rather thick and difficult to fit behind the pillar mounts I also installed. The button illuminates when the lights are on and is very tactile in response. All in all though, the install was a breeze and this kit does what it needs to. For the price it can't be beat."

"This product went absolutely great with my Kawell 18w Flood Beam LEDs it's VERY simple to connect to the lights. All the parts required to connect to my lights came with the wiring harness. The only reason I'm giving this a 4-star rating is because the quality of the switch is not great for 4x4 I mean if you're running this in a enclosed jeep then yes this is a perfectly fine On/Off switch but if you are running this setup on a crawler or an atv(like I did) the first time you get the switch wet its pretty much ruined. But over all I would for sure recommend this to any one looking for a good wiring harness."
