"When the weather was very hot and humid here, I did get one box where some of the greenies were stuck together, but the individual greenies were still in good shape."

"I gave my dog one of these every evening for the first couple of months after I got her, and I was actually shocked at how much her teeth improved over that first few weeks."

"Make sure to watch your dog the first few times they eat a greenie (or any new chew item) to make sure it is chewed enough and not swallowed whole."

"I then Googled to get info on these things (should have before buying) and discovered that Greenies are deadly."

"My Golden Retriever LOVES Greenies and they are so much healthier than some of the other pet treats on the market that might keep him busier chewing for a longer period of time, but these other treats are full of ingredients that I have never heard of that cannot be good, like bull pizzle (I had to look that one up and it is not something I want my best bud ingesting)."

"I think it does help him keep his teeth white because my neighbors have noticed and so does my vet!"

"I have to be honest and say that there is no way I'm ever going to brush my dog's teeth."

"We now have a 1 year old pit/lab mix, Daisy, who will not let us brush her teeth, and I am determined to keep her teeth healthy. Daisy gets one regular greenie (she weighs 57#) after her evening meal... When the weather was very hot and humid here, I did get one box where some of the greenies were stuck together, but the individual greenies were still in good shape."

"I don't blame her either - I mean she had just come from a shelter and prior to that who knows... I gave my dog one of these every evening for the first couple of months after I got her, and I was actually shocked at how much her teeth improved over that first few weeks. The plaque/tartar on her teeth has been reduced by about 50% over the course of 4 months, and using these along with a toothbrush even gets my vet's seal of approval."

"Giving your dog a greenie once a day is a great way to keep his/her teeth clean between brushing... The boxes themselves are nice and sturdy, so they can be stacked and stored away when you buy in bulk... Make sure to watch your dog the first few times they eat a greenie (or any new chew item) to make sure it is chewed enough and not swallowed whole."

"I gave them a Greenie two times, the first time wasn't so awful (a little diarrhea) and I chalked it up to "it happens sometimes" and watched them. The second time I gave them one, hours later, after their dinner, the lab puked everything in his stomach, until he was producing only bile (and several times just bile)... I then Googled to get info on these things (should have before buying) and discovered that Greenies are deadly."

"My Golden Retriever LOVES Greenies and they are so much healthier than some of the other pet treats on the market that might keep him busier chewing for a longer period of time, but these other treats are full of ingredients that I have never heard of that cannot be good, like bull pizzle (I had to look that one up and it is not something I want my best bud ingesting). Greenies, on the other had, are great for his body and dental health and he does not seem to miss the beef pizzle treats at all!... I don't think the ones I ordered are the jumbo size I normally get for him at the pet store, but the price was better either way and he does not seem to mind or notice that they are a bit smaller."

"Anyways, I have a big 90lb-ish dog who loves to chew these for sure but they don't last very long for him. I would say it takes him a couple minutes to finish a regular size one but he has a big white grin after eating them. I think it does help him keep his teeth white because my neighbors have noticed and so does my vet!"

"I have to be honest and say that there is no way I'm ever going to brush my dog's teeth... My dog had bad breath and the kids were complaining so I tried Greenies and they really made a huge difference... Still, they are worth it to me since he's not so stinky and I will continue to buy them."

"We had a dog for nearly 16 years, who had terrible teeth and foul breath, and ended up needing surgery to remove 19 teeth... We now have a 1 year old pit/lab mix, Daisy, who will not let us brush her teeth, and I am determined to keep her teeth healthy. Daisy gets one regular greenie (she weighs 57#) after her evening meal... Daisy gulps down her food, but the texture of the greenies forces her to take her time when she eats them. So far her breath is not even noticeable, and her teeth are pearly white... And, she chews on nylabones throughout the day... When the weather was very hot and humid here, I did get one box where some of the greenies were stuck together, but the individual greenies were still in good shape."

"I don't blame her either - I mean she had just come from a shelter and prior to that who knows. Greenies were a great first step in getting her teeth back in shape while we worked to get her acclimated to the toothbrush. I gave my dog one of these every evening for the first couple of months after I got her, and I was actually shocked at how much her teeth improved over that first few weeks. The plaque/tartar on her teeth has been reduced by about 50% over the course of 4 months, and using these along with a toothbrush even gets my vet's seal of approval. As an added bonus, my dog loves the flavor of these, and short of real meat, these are one of the highest value training reward treats I can find for her. They are easy enough to cut up into little bite sized pieces for training, so one of the regular sized bone/brushes yields about a dozen little snacks... The local and big box pet stores carry these, but at a much much higher cost."

"Giving your dog a greenie once a day is a great way to keep his/her teeth clean between brushing. My dog absolutely loves them (as most do), and it's a daily treat for her that happens to be great for her teeth. These are what she gets for her "lunch" in the middle of the day, between her two traditional meals... The boxes themselves are nice and sturdy, so they can be stacked and stored away when you buy in bulk. NOTE: This should not be used to completely replace brushing your dogs teeth, but it will let you go a lot longer between brushing. With the use of Greenies, Nylabones, and tug ropes, I am able to limit my dog's manual tooth brushing (which she hates) to once per month.

I was getting ready to take him to vet when he started becoming normal again. My terrier and spaniel both had the runs for more than a week. I then Googled to get info on these things (should have before buying) and discovered that Greenies are deadly... I then did an experiment (someone did that before me, from my Googling, I just repeated it) by snapping off an end of a Greenie and putting it in water . The result was a solid, extremely slimy, God only knows what kind of substance, that I'd never, ever allow my guys to ingest."

"I'm not sure what is in there but he never turns these down. When I show him beef jerky vs Greenies and ask him 'Which one, boy? ' He always sticks his nose to the Greenies bag. Anyways, I have a big 90lb-ish dog who loves to chew these for sure but they don't last very long for him. I would say it takes him a couple minutes to finish a regular size one but he has a big white grin after eating them. I think it does help him keep his teeth white because my neighbors have noticed and so does my vet! I don't brush his teeth so I'm guessing it's because of his daily use of Greenies."

"I have to be honest and say that there is no way I'm ever going to brush my dog's teeth. Every time I take him to the groomer they give him a toothbrush and it's just not gonna happen. My dog had bad breath and the kids were complaining so I tried Greenies and they really made a huge difference. The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 is that the price makes me cringe every time I need to buy more. Still, they are worth it to me since he's not so stinky and I will continue to buy them. i am always trying to find a good deal since they are pricey, and the large box does cut the cost per Greenie a bit. I would definitely recommend them for anyone who is not into dog tooth brushing, or dog halitosis."
