"However like some other reviews here mentioned, if this is your first time buying ballet slippers for your little girl, just go to a shoe store and find out what size will fit her first.""Now I'm trying to find the time to drive 2 hours to the nearest dance store to get her a pair that actually fits since there is no way to tell for sure what size she is based on the size guide provided."
"Other than the pattern inside the shoe, the only thing I've noticed as a draw back is when I tighten them with the string, they tighten in the back first, which makes them too tight on her heal before they are tight enough on the side."
"Some people purchase a size bigger or purchase the actual size and choose from the fit chart "Somewhat large, small, fits as expected, etc" for others to reference."
"The other reason that I like the Bunnyhops is that the elastic string can be pulled tight in the front, and it cinches up the rest of the shoe all the way around the ankle, for a tighter fit."
"I noticed a lot of other reviews on here said that the fit was consistent, but because I'm somewhat skeptical and because I wanted these to fit through the spring, I went ahead and ordered a half size up from my toddler's street shoe size."
"She wears a 10 in sneakers and the 9 1/2m in the capezio daisy ballet shoe is actually a tiny bit roomy but not too much since they are supposed to fit like a glove."

"I have Amazon Prime and I am so glad at this point that I do because both returns were free and both shoes arrived within 2 days... In the end it is better for the shoes to be slightly big in which your child can still grow into it than the shoes being too small that she can't even wear it. However like some other reviews here mentioned, if this is your first time buying ballet slippers for your little girl, just go to a shoe store and find out what size will fit her first.""I know that some brands have converted their sizes to match street shoe sizes, so I thought that maybe Capezio had done the same... It would cost almost $6 just to return them, even though they shipped for free and weigh almost nothing, so I have kept them for my younger daughter to grow into. Now I'm trying to find the time to drive 2 hours to the nearest dance store to get her a pair that actually fits since there is no way to tell for sure what size she is based on the size guide provided."
"The only reason I took a star away from this rating was the fact that the black ones do NOT have the cute little daisy print on the inside... I know that may seem a little picky, but if you are going to show the product, show it accurately, or note that it doesn't come with that design on the inside... Other than the pattern inside the shoe, the only thing I've noticed as a draw back is when I tighten them with the string, they tighten in the back first, which makes them too tight on her heal before they are tight enough on the side."
"Some people purchase a size bigger or purchase the actual size and choose from the fit chart "Somewhat large, small, fits as expected, etc" for others to reference... Her teacher mentioned that the cinch at the top is really what matters, so tighten the top or loosen the top for the feet and she will grow into the rest. As I tighten the shoe with the strings at the top, it then becomes tight around her ankle so I have to loosen it there for her comfort."
"I am not a dancer nor do I have any previous experience with ballet slippers, but I do know a quality shoe when I see one. I wasn't happy with the options at retail stores in my area, so I found these on Amazon for less than what I would have paid in store... The other reason that I like the Bunnyhops is that the elastic string can be pulled tight in the front, and it cinches up the rest of the shoe all the way around the ankle, for a tighter fit."
"I noticed a lot of other reviews on here said that the fit was consistent, but because I'm somewhat skeptical and because I wanted these to fit through the spring, I went ahead and ordered a half size up from my toddler's street shoe size... Turns out they are pretty much exactly the size of her foot, so if she grows much over the course of her pre-ballet class, I'll have to buy a new pair... I'm not returning mine because I don't want to bother with it, but I would have preferred a full size up for them to fit the way I hoped they would."
"The string is able to be pulled to adjust the fit around the foot, however loose or snug you would like them to fit which is great so they don't gap when in use... She wears a 10 in sneakers and the 9 1/2m in the capezio daisy ballet shoe is actually a tiny bit roomy but not too much since they are supposed to fit like a glove... My daughter has a high instep and these ballet shoes still fit her perfectly and are the same one's most of the kids in the class have."

"According to the sizing chart given by Amazon, that puts her shoe size at street size 7. Some of the reviews here mentioned that these shoes are comparable to street sizes and is a true fit... However it seems like it almost fit, just needs to be a bit bigger, so I decided to go only half size up and ordered a 7 1/2... I have Amazon Prime and I am so glad at this point that I do because both returns were free and both shoes arrived within 2 days... In the end it is better for the shoes to be slightly big in which your child can still grow into it than the shoes being too small that she can't even wear it. However like some other reviews here mentioned, if this is your first time buying ballet slippers for your little girl, just go to a shoe store and find out what size will fit her first... I would buy again when my little girl outgrows her current one.""Because of my years of dance, I know that ballet shoe sizes are usually not the same as street shoe sizes. We don't have a dance store within an hour driving distance from our home, so I had to order all of her dance supplies online. Because of this, I measured her foot 3 times to make sure that I got the correct measurement... When I looked at the size chart for this shoe, the length of her foot matched with a size 7. I know that some brands have converted their sizes to match street shoe sizes, so I thought that maybe Capezio had done the same...
I had to buy my daughter at least 1/2 size larger than she normally wears, and in the wide width. Other than the pattern inside the shoe, the only thing I've noticed as a draw back is when I tighten them with the string, they tighten in the back first, which makes them too tight on her heal before they are tight enough on the side... I think you'll be pleased, but if I were you, just go up 1/2 a size to make sure they fit. That way she'll have room to grow in them. You can also tighten them, so a little larger shouldn't be that big of a deal."
"Some people purchase a size bigger or purchase the actual size and choose from the fit chart "Somewhat large, small, fits as expected, etc" for others to reference. So I disregarded that chart and just read through a slew of reviews for this product... She does have about 1/4 inch of room both at the ankle and her toes. Her teacher mentioned that the cinch at the top is really what matters, so tighten the top or loosen the top for the feet and she will grow into the rest. As I tighten the shoe with the strings at the top, it then becomes tight around her ankle so I have to loosen it there for her comfort. She says it doesn't bother her, but for a child who is just passionate about ballet, she will comply to make her "dreams" come true... She doesn't look like she's a duck with big feet either lol they don't flop."
"I am not a dancer nor do I have any previous experience with ballet slippers, but I do know a quality shoe when I see one. I wasn't happy with the options at retail stores in my area, so I found these on Amazon for less than what I would have paid in store... 5 normally, even fits into a size 8--so I read these reviews and ordered up (size 10 D)... These fit with only a little room to spare, so I think I will actually exchange them for size 10... I ordered both the Capezio Daisy 205 Ballet Shoe (Ballet Pink,10 N US Toddler) and the Bloch Dance Bunnyhop Slipper Ballet Flat (Pink,10 D US Toddler)... Both shoes are extremely well made and have nice leather flexible soles for movement... The other reason that I like the Bunnyhops is that the elastic string can be pulled tight in the front, and it cinches up the rest of the shoe all the way around the ankle, for a tighter fit."
"These ballet shoes are supposed to fit true to street shoe size, according to Capezio. I noticed a lot of other reviews on here said that the fit was consistent, but because I'm somewhat skeptical and because I wanted these to fit through the spring, I went ahead and ordered a half size up from my toddler's street shoe size. FWIW, she has just barely started wearing a 9 in regular shoes, so I went with a 9. 5, thinking that would give a little extra room but they wouldn't be too big. Turns out they are pretty much exactly the size of her foot, so if she grows much over the course of her pre-ballet class, I'll have to buy a new pair. I know it seems like everyone ordering these is having a different result as far as fit, so who knows. I'm not returning mine because I don't want to bother with it, but I would have preferred a full size up for them to fit the way I hoped they would."
"This is the 2nd pair we bought only because she grew out of the first pair. They hold up well, there were barely any marks on them. She wears them weekly to dance class and also wore them for the recital. The string is able to be pulled to adjust the fit around the foot, however loose or snug you would like them to fit which is great so they don't gap when in use... She wears a 10 in sneakers and the 9 1/2m in the capezio daisy ballet shoe is actually a tiny bit roomy but not too much since they are supposed to fit like a glove. There is a small name tag in each shoe so you can write your child's name... My daughter has a high instep and these ballet shoes still fit her perfectly and are the same one's most of the kids in the class have."
