"These are fine for light duty, but I would not trust them to secure items to the roof of your car. I used them without issue, but they are stretched and some of the hooks are bent. I will not use them to secure loads."
"As you can see from the pictures, the elastic cord snapped near where it terminates at the hook. Also, as you can see in the pictures, the hooks are plastic, and not very sturdy plastic - multiple areas where it was scraped away after being hooked onto a metal surface for about 20 minutes. These would probably be fine if you are just going to use them to hold together sleeping bags that are just sitting in storage or something, but would not recommend for heavy-duty tasks."
