There are parts inside that come out to expand certain sections which would be a good thing if they didn't come out SO easily and the plastic wasn't so thin and cheap... The rubber bands are actually VERY bright and colorful, but they are not overly plasticy looking. If you work with this kind of thing a lot then you know some bands just don't make the cut when you're working with some designs... These bands are brightly colored and perfect. I wanted to trade all my carefully picked out bands for hers when I really got a close look at them for the first time. Her pink that was the same color as mine was brighter, and her bands were much more sturdy."

My daughter and I made almost 20 bracelets the first day (which barely put a dent in the amount of bands you get) and only found 1 band broken in the box... But you do need a pliers of some kind to make sure the charms are secure all the way when you add them to the bands. The box is huge but only comes with storage spaces for the bands themselves, a few slots for the clips would be nice since you get so many clips too. My only other complaint is that the bands do have a tendency to be stuck together so you can't just reach in and take what you need as you go along, unless you don't mind having to separate them as you're adding them to your design. An easy fix is just removing a bunch from the box and separating them before you start so honestly that's not a big problem."
