RCP - D1R6 - (A Pair) D1R 6000K Xenon HID Replacement Bulb Diamond White Metal Stents Base 12V Car Headlight Lamps Head Lights 35W

Very Quick

"One thing, the box even came with a pair of white gloves to use while replacing the bulbs since you don't want to touch your fingers on the bulbs."

"Would suck to all ends if the second bulb of the pair burnt out before the one replacement gets here!"

"The RCP bulb is just as bright, and while I sure wouldn't go cheap with performance parts for that car, like tires or suspension or engine parts, why not be a cheapskate for something as ordinary as headlights, especially headlights that go into so many non-fancy cars?"

"Very Disappointing and all the pain in the butt trouble to get the old bulbs out and the new ones in just to take the new ones back out (RCP), and put the old bulbs back in (installing on 15 jeep grand cherokee)."

"The fix seems to be manually switching the lights on/off until both ignite at which time they both stay on without issue, however, this is quite annoying and unless your lights are projected on something in front of you, it might require getting out of the vehicle to double check."

"These were less than $30 for a PAIR and, so far, they re awesome."

"* Based on all the good reviews here, I bought these RCP HID s for my 2010 Jeep SRT8 that has 40000 miles after my drivers side 6000k bulb went out."

"For the 2013 Audi Q7, you have to take out the entire headlight assembly and that took some time to figure out... The first side took me 15 minutes because I had to figure this all out, and the second side took just a few since I had the process down. One thing, the box even came with a pair of white gloves to use while replacing the bulbs since you don't want to touch your fingers on the bulbs."

"I bought the 6000k color thinking that was my factory color, only to realize they were a little bluer... They are trying to buy 5 star votes by promising a 2 yr warranty, but the replacement is going to take months to get..... Would suck to all ends if the second bulb of the pair burnt out before the one replacement gets here!"

"One of my OEM bulbs burned out a week ago, so I went hunting for a replacement, and lit on these... The RCP bulb is just as bright, and while I sure wouldn't go cheap with performance parts for that car, like tires or suspension or engine parts, why not be a cheapskate for something as ordinary as headlights, especially headlights that go into so many non-fancy cars?... But if it's still working and happy after that month, I'll replace the OEM bulb with the other RCP bulb so they'll (hopefully) match."

"Very Disappointing and all the pain in the butt trouble to get the old bulbs out and the new ones in just to take the new ones back out (RCP), and put the old bulbs back in (installing on 15 jeep grand cherokee). I've been buying HID kits for serval years now so I have a good share of knowledge with and about them, I always buy 8000k... This is my first vehicle i had to buy HID bulbs in Bulb size "D3S", which is why i could not buy my normal go to brand for HIDs."

"The fix seems to be manually switching the lights on/off until both ignite at which time they both stay on without issue, however, this is quite annoying and unless your lights are projected on something in front of you, it might require getting out of the vehicle to double check. The 6000k bulbs I received were probably more in the 5000k color range but that's not an issue... I returned these and purchased an $80 pair from a reputable dealer that previously got me almost 5 years of bulb life and work without issue or annoyance."

"They said it s so expensive because OEM requires an HID Xenon bulb... These were less than $30 for a PAIR and, so far, they re awesome... Oh, check out YouTube for replacing the bulbs."

"* Based on all the good reviews here, I bought these RCP HID s for my 2010 Jeep SRT8 that has 40000 miles after my drivers side 6000k bulb went out... Better, brighter & whiter than my previous ones that were a different not so good brand and didn t even last for 8 months... They even give you a pair of anti-static white gloves for installation."

"* I bought these to replace the burnt out low beam for my 2013 Audio Q7. I had always wondered why the colors of the lights of my car were mixed, some were typical yellow while others where crystal white like the running lights... For the 2013 Audi Q7, you have to take out the entire headlight assembly and that took some time to figure out... The first side took me 15 minutes because I had to figure this all out, and the second side took just a few since I had the process down. One thing, the box even came with a pair of white gloves to use while replacing the bulbs since you don't want to touch your fingers on the bulbs. Just be sure to use the gloves after you have pulled out the housing and are ready for the bulb swap... My car has 58K miles on it, so hopefully these lights last just as long as the last set."

"I bought the 6000k color thinking that was my factory color, only to realize they were a little bluer. It wasn't bad, but I really liked the white light, so I was able to exchange them for the 4300k... Only time will tell of their long term quality... Oh, and these should have a 2 year free replacement warranty too!... Had a bulb burn out or transformer burn up or something because I'm down a light...

Concerns: (1) the RCP bulb is quite a bit bluer than the Audi OEM, so I probably should have gotten the 4300K instead of the 6000K. But it's no big deal at this price, because I can just swap out the working OEM bulb so they'll match... If "you get what you pay for", then they shouldn't be up to the same grade as the name-brand, should they?... But if it's still working and happy after that month, I'll replace the OEM bulb with the other RCP bulb so they'll (hopefully) match... As near as I can tell, these are NOT LED bulbs, but standard Xenon HID bulbs like the description says."

"* Let me start off my review by saying I just contacted the seller right before typing this review. I just installed the 8000k HIDs I received from RCP. Normal color output is suppose to be white with heavy blue.. well these (RCP) are straight purple after they warm up! Very Disappointing and all the pain in the butt trouble to get the old bulbs out and the new ones in just to take the new ones back out (RCP), and put the old bulbs back in (installing on 15 jeep grand cherokee). I've been buying HID kits for serval years now so I have a good share of knowledge with and about them, I always buy 8000k... This is my first vehicle i had to buy HID bulbs in Bulb size "D3S", which is why i could not buy my normal go to brand for HIDs."

"If you're looking to spend less than OEM direct replacement, look at Diode Dynamics, Xenon Depot, etc... As the old adage goes, you get what you pay for... Packaging was good and you get a pair of white gloves to avoid contact/skin oils getting on the bulbs and reducing bulb life... The fix seems to be manually switching the lights on/off until both ignite at which time they both stay on without issue, however, this is quite annoying and unless your lights are projected on something in front of you, it might require getting out of the vehicle to double check. The 6000k bulbs I received were probably more in the 5000k color range but that's not an issue... I returned these and purchased an $80 pair from a reputable dealer that previously got me almost 5 years of bulb life and work without issue or annoyance. Spend a little more money and avoid the hassle."

"* Bought these bulbs for GF s 2011 Lexus IS250. Autozone quoted me $150 for ONE bulb. They said it s so expensive because OEM requires an HID Xenon bulb... These were less than $30 for a PAIR and, so far, they re awesome. Slight blue hue, but bright and clear... Oh, check out YouTube for replacing the bulbs. There are a few tricks you should be aware of on the Lexus."

Can t beat the price of these RCP HID s when compared to overly exspensive store bought ones... The sealed packaging and cushioning inside the box to protect during shipping was superb. They even give you a pair of anti-static white gloves for installation... After making my order, my lights arrived on the same day 4 hours earlier than promised... I highly recommend and will purchase this same product again when needed."
