Oral-B Pro 1000 Electric Power Rechargeable Battery Toothbrush with Automatic Timer and CrossAction Brush Head, Black

Very Quick

"I called for assistance to Oral B, and did not receive the answer to my question or the courtesy I expected."

"* I have been using a Sonicare Healthy White electric toothbrush for several years, but have found it a little rough on my gums, so I decided to try this Oral B."

"replaced my other oral b of 15 years."

"* Satisfied with it so far."

"If you really do your research and begin comparing this base model to the more expensive ones in the line ( and some can cost as much as $150 +) you may realize as I did that the more expensive ones are the exact same mechanism but they add a few more bells and whistles like fancy timer selections and variable speed settings."

"* Excellent product, vibes every 30 seconds so you know when to switch quadrants and gives one last long one at the end (I usually brush my tongue after that one before shutting down the unit)."

"* I have been using a Sonicare Healthy White electric toothbrush for several years, but have found it a little rough on my gums, so I decided to try this Oral B... The Oral B lasts for about a week of brushing; the Sonicare was at least twice that... I'd get one good brushing after a full charge, but then you could feel the thing really slow down with every subsequent brushing."

"If you really do your research and begin comparing this base model to the more expensive ones in the line ( and some can cost as much as $150 +) you may realize as I did that the more expensive ones are the exact same mechanism but they add a few more bells and whistles like fancy timer selections and variable speed settings. One even comes with Bluetooth so an app on your phone can monitor your brushing habits ( ridiculous and not worth the cost in my view) This model does the job and beeps every 30 seconds to indicate when you should switch areas of cleaning... I had my first one for over 3 years until it began losing its ability to hold a charge (as most rechargeable items do when continuously used) so it wasn't as powerful when brushing."

"* Excellent product, vibes every 30 seconds so you know when to switch quadrants and gives one last long one at the end (I usually brush my tongue after that one before shutting down the unit)... The very first day, my fiance dropped mine (of course) and knocked it hard onto the ground, but the motor didn't stop working and the toothbrush still charges and brushes just as it's supposed to (I bought two, one for each of us, and there's no difference in the intensity or charge time)... If you have weak gums (like I do) or just want a cleaner feeling in your mouth, go for this toothbrush, it's worth the one-time investment for what it does for your oral health!"

"* I have been using a Sonicare Healthy White electric toothbrush for several years, but have found it a little rough on my gums, so I decided to try this Oral B... 4) Overall price of the unit (especially when they have it on sale) is much lower than the Sonicare line... The Oral B lasts for about a week of brushing; the Sonicare was at least twice that... It works well, easy on gums, cleans better than a manual toothbrush, and seems well designed overall. Update: After using this toothbrush for two months, the battery really went south. I'd get one good brushing after a full charge, but then you could feel the thing really slow down with every subsequent brushing... It's too bad because I did like this product, but it did not hold up at all."

"* Dentist told me I should start using an electric toothbrush a few years ago... If you really do your research and begin comparing this base model to the more expensive ones in the line ( and some can cost as much as $150 +) you may realize as I did that the more expensive ones are the exact same mechanism but they add a few more bells and whistles like fancy timer selections and variable speed settings. I had my first one for over 3 years until it began losing its ability to hold a charge (as most rechargeable items do when continuously used) so it wasn't as powerful when brushing... That is another reason to not buy the more expensive ones. No matter how much you pay or how many extra gimicks it has you are going to eventually have to replace it... It's just a toothbrush so skip the bells and whistles and stick with this great base model."

"* Excellent product, vibes every 30 seconds so you know when to switch quadrants and gives one last long one at the end (I usually brush my tongue after that one before shutting down the unit). The heads come with different colored rings to identify them which is helpful if you bought more than one (like I did). The very first day, my fiance dropped mine (of course) and knocked it hard onto the ground, but the motor didn't stop working and the toothbrush still charges and brushes just as it's supposed to (I bought two, one for each of us, and there's no difference in the intensity or charge time). It does take a really long time to charge, but all you need is is one day plugged in and you're good for a week (or a long weekend get away on one full charge is more than enough!... I'm very pleased with this product, there's no loss of power or slowed vibrations when the battery gets low and needs to be charged, and the warning light is very convenient (no need to guess when you need a charge). The replacements heads are no more expensive than a regular toothbrush. If you have weak gums (like I do) or just want a cleaner feeling in your mouth, go for this toothbrush, it's worth the one-time investment for what it does for your oral health!"
