AmazonBasics Stainless Steel Dog Bowl - Set of 2

Very Quick

"They are your standard bowls and look pretty nice."

"I accidentally melted the rubber bumpers on my first two, though I still use them, but since I feed twice a day I now have a clean pair while the other two are in the dishwasher."

"* Simple dog bowel, good for food or water."

"They are dishwasher safe, but the bottom is hollowed out and will trap water, so you're probably better off washing them in the sink like I do."

"The only downside I see with this is (my oversight not the bowl's fault) that it only holds 32oz of water."

"They are large enough to hold the food/water my labradoodle/goldendoodle mix dog needs and the design keeps him from spilling the contents all over the place."

"* While the price is certainly fine, these bowls are very lightweight and easily moved around by the dog, in my case a German Shepherd puppy about 3."

"The Shepherd is learning to sit and wait, and our older dog is less anxious about his food getting away from him, and into her... I like that the rubber comes off so I can completely clean the bowls and bumpers, before putting them back on... I accidentally melted the rubber bumpers on my first two, though I still use them, but since I feed twice a day I now have a clean pair while the other two are in the dishwasher."

"* Simple dog bowel, good for food or water. Great price. What more is there to say?"

"These bowls are perfect - they are very easy to clean in the sink, they're light, they don't skid because of the rubber edging along the bottom, and best of all, dog hair doesn't get stuck on them!... They are dishwasher safe, but the bottom is hollowed out and will trap water, so you're probably better off washing them in the sink like I do. I'm happy with this purchase and my dog doesn't care if her bowls are fancy or not!"

"The rubber strip around the base works great with keeping the bowl from sliding around... The only downside I see with this is (my oversight not the bowl's fault) that it only holds 32oz of water... Not a big deal if you are not leaving your pet outdoors alone for an extended period of time."

"* These were so much cheaper for the exact same quality of dog bowl sold at my local pet store. Seriously, half the price of one of their stainless steel bowls and you get TWO!... They are large enough to hold the food/water my labradoodle/goldendoodle mix dog needs and the design keeps him from spilling the contents all over the place."

"* While the price is certainly fine, these bowls are very lightweight and easily moved around by the dog, in my case a German Shepherd puppy about 3... But only after removing the rubber ring around the bottom of the dish... These need to have 4 holes put into the rim so they can be screwed down to a board or something more substantial that won't let the bowls move."

"* One dog has been with us for 11 yrs, since he was a puppy. Our new 8yr old German Shepherd is a kill-shelter rescue and though she had been fed, and was housebroken, was never taught ANYTHING else. These two have been quite competitive at meal time, so these large non-skid bowls have actually helped reduce the mealtime distractions. The Shepherd is learning to sit and wait, and our older dog is less anxious about his food getting away from him, and into her. The rubber bumper around the base is not glued on, but is easy to reposition. I like that the rubber comes off so I can completely clean the bowls and bumpers, before putting them back on... I accidentally melted the rubber bumpers on my first two, though I still use them, but since I feed twice a day I now have a clean pair while the other two are in the dishwasher."

"Prior to this purchase, I owned a more expensive feeder set that I purchased from a pet store chain. That product had two removable stainless steel bowl inserts that nestled in a plastic feeder. The feeder always seemed to attract dog hair because of static electricity, and was awkward to clean (it was large enough that it wouldn't fit in the sink) and was even a bit heavy... After I read the positive reviews, I decided to purchase this product as a replacement. These bowls are perfect - they are very easy to clean in the sink, they're light, they don't skid because of the rubber edging along the bottom, and best of all, dog hair doesn't get stuck on them!...

But, I can use both bowls for water when he's not feeding. However, this would work great for smaller dogs, say 50lbs and under. Not a big deal if you are not leaving your pet outdoors alone for an extended period of time. Either way, I would definitely recommend this for any pet owner... If you have two pets to feed, this is a great deal."

"* While the price is certainly fine, these bowls are very lightweight and easily moved around by the dog, in my case a German Shepherd puppy about 3... In fact, she picks her water dish up and parades around the house with it. But only after removing the rubber ring around the bottom of the dish. That gets chewed up, so the dish now slides around freely. The gauge of the metal is not much more than paper so the bottom of the dish will make an "oil can" sound when my dog puts her paw in it as many dogs do. That creates further excitement in the dog's mind prompting another parade... These need to have 4 holes put into the rim so they can be screwed down to a board or something more substantial that won't let the bowls move."
