"I wore them for about 15 minutes walking down to the beach on a recent vacation that I purchased them for and was instantly fighting to get them off my feet by the time we got to the elevator to get to our room... Reef really has outdone their selves and trust me when I say this, it was hard for me to get away from the famous California Rainbow sandals and I would chose these any day over Rainbows. Also, the bottle opener works really well, very sturdy design and great in a pinch when you are handed a craft beer out on the sandbar in Lake Havasu and a bottle opener is no where near to be found."

"I suppose maybe once they are broken in more maybe they won't be so bad, but who wants to cut up their feet attempting to break them in though?... I would never purchase these again knowing what I know now, ESPECIALLY for how much they cost when I can run down to any old store and pick up a set that will be comfy for a couple bucks. Even if they break the next day, it'd take weeks of buying new ones to get to the over $50 price tag on these guys. I loved the design of them, plus having the bottle opener is kind of a funny/cool option even if it is a little gimmicky so for that I'm leaving a couple starts cuz they do look great. Maybe I'll try and break them in with socks on around the house for a while and see if that makes them any better."

The 4 stars instead of 5 was mostly due to they didn't fit me as I wished, but for someone with 'normal' width feet I would think they would be great."
"To begin with, the size (despite being the same size that I always order) was a little on the small side, as my toes managed to hang over the edge... My biggest concern comes from the fact that my sandals have completely destroyed themselves in less than a few weeks after receiving them. The soles have become completely unglued from the rest of the shoe, and the rubber section (where the foot actually rests) has shrunk by a few inches at least compared to its original size. This happened because my shoes were left outside, just as I have done with all of my sandals before these. The best part, unlike Rainbows, is you can walk in the water with them, you don't have to worry about extra damage. Also, my foot holder bands are still dead tight into the sandal and do not feel like they are going to break, even today. These sandals are a bit expensive, however, for how long they last and how comfortable they are , they are worth every penny. I originally considered returning them because of the tight strap issue but instead I decided to see if they would just break in a little. Honestly it was mainly just because I was leaving on vacation in a couple of days and needed sandals, and my only other option was those the thin foam ones, which I cannot stand. But much to my pleasant surprise after wearing them for a few hours they loosened up a bit and are now by far the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. I don't wear sandals that often so I have no doubt that I am going to own these for a very long time. Also the Bottle opener came in surprisingly handy while on vacation."
