"It's nice to wear slides when you know you might be waiting a long time (say, a hospital waiting area while someone's having surgery) and slip them off and put your feet up for a while.""You get used to it slowly, after about a week they feel great, I'm leaving these 5 stars and I wish I could make it 10 because I used to suffer from nearly debilitating plantar faciitis."
"Yes, they will become more comfortable after you've been initiated and have paid your tuition, and they are very wide and the best choice I found out there to take a shower with."
"If you don't plan on getting your feet wet while wearing them, I'd recommend getting a pair of cushioned sandals such as the Under Armour Ignite Slides."
"* So I have been wearing these for about 3 months now and all of the little knobs are starting to flatten and break off."
"I clearly thought that they were knockoffs because of the tiny velcro adjustment area and overall feel as the second pair wasn't as firm and had a big different feel when both are next to each other so noticable ,so sent for replacement and got the same cheap feel and strap that allows little to no adjustment."
"I've had several pairs over the past ten years, but now consider them my sole indoor shoe and often wear them all day around the house."

"If you're sensitive though, you probably have to start with socks or maybe can't wear them at all... But I find that mine wear out too fast to really get dirty inside, and if they're dirty outside, so what... It's nice to wear slides when you know you might be waiting a long time (say, a hospital waiting area while someone's having surgery) and slip them off and put your feet up for a while.""You get used to it slowly, after about a week they feel great, I'm leaving these 5 stars and I wish I could make it 10 because I used to suffer from nearly debilitating plantar faciitis... Normally this morning spectacle was followed with many swear words that would require me to look at the kids and say "daddy said bad things.... I'm only even writing this review because almost 10 years later, foot pain returned, a fresh set of Adissage sandals and two weeks."
"Only because I read other reviews pointing out they become SUPER comfortable once you 'break them in'. Well, if your foot doesn't brake before you break these things in, they might be comfortable after a while... Yes, they will become more comfortable after you've been initiated and have paid your tuition, and they are very wide and the best choice I found out there to take a shower with."
"If you don't plan on getting your feet wet while wearing them, I'd recommend getting a pair of cushioned sandals such as the Under Armour Ignite Slides. Those are by far the most comfortable sandals I've worn, but they take a while to dry so aren't good for the pool or shower... DON'T BE FOOLED, after wearing them for a couple days at home you may be tempted to wear them out for a few hours."
"* So I have been wearing these for about 3 months now and all of the little knobs are starting to flatten and break off... Typically, I can get 2+ years of wear out of these by wearing them only in the evenings and around the house. I don't expect this new pair to last more than another few weeks to a month."
"That said I'm not a hater but these sandals are really bad... I clearly thought that they were knockoffs because of the tiny velcro adjustment area and overall feel as the second pair wasn't as firm and had a big different feel when both are next to each other so noticable ,so sent for replacement and got the same cheap feel and strap that allows little to no adjustment... When adjusted properly you have only an inch of velcro making contact with each other and when you walk the velcro begins to loosen due to such a small contact area and then back to the same issue foot comes loose and the sandal moves outward while your heel is off the sandal pad on the inside and if not careful you potentially roll your ankle."
"I've had several pairs over the past ten years, but now consider them my sole indoor shoe and often wear them all day around the house. The massaging nubs take a while to get used to, but once you are used to them you might come to depend on their massaging action. I used to wear warm house slippers in winter, but now wear these with socks instead, as I don't want to forego the therapeutic value of wearing them."

"If you're sensitive though, you probably have to start with socks or maybe can't wear them at all... Within months, the massage nubs start dropping off and scattering around the house... Then when they get too gross after months or years of outside use, I toss them. Also by now, the inners have worn down so much there is no longer any support (which is very good when the shoes are new)... Also, don't expect these to dry quickly after wearing at the pool or getting out of the shower... But I find that mine wear out too fast to really get dirty inside, and if they're dirty outside, so what... It's nice to wear slides when you know you might be waiting a long time (say, a hospital waiting area while someone's having surgery) and slip them off and put your feet up for a while.""* (Tatianas husband) First, these are painful for the first week... You get used to it slowly, after about a week they feel great, I'm leaving these 5 stars and I wish I could make it 10 because I used to suffer from nearly debilitating plantar faciitis. I would wake up some mornings and the minute I put pressure on my feet I'd fall down it hurt so bad. Normally this morning spectacle was followed with many swear words that would require me to look at the kids and say "daddy said bad things.... I got deployed to Iraq in 2005 as a contractor, forgot shower shoes and bought these at the PX needing something to avoid foot fungus from the public showers there..... My problems stayed gone long after I wore out the sandals. I'm only even writing this review because almost 10 years later, foot pain returned, a fresh set of Adissage sandals and two weeks."
"* I remember my dad had these like 30 years ago, and I saw them again here. I remember back then I stepped on them ( I was about 6) and felt I had just stepped on a torture device from the Spanish inquisition... Only because I read other reviews pointing out they become SUPER comfortable once you 'break them in'. Well, if your foot doesn't brake before you break these things in, they might be comfortable after a while. I wore them with thick sucks on at first and even my sucks didn't stand the torture, they started shredding on the bottom. I'm about half way through the torture and they are starting to become less painful... Yes, they will become more comfortable after you've been initiated and have paid your tuition, and they are very wide and the best choice I found out there to take a shower with."
"* I bought these sandals because I liked the look of them and wanted a pair that could get wet. If you don't plan on getting your feet wet while wearing them, I'd recommend getting a pair of cushioned sandals such as the Under Armour Ignite Slides. Those are by far the most comfortable sandals I've worn, but they take a while to dry so aren't good for the pool or shower... I'd suggest wearing them with socks at first, or for short periods of time. DON'T BE FOOLED, after wearing them for a couple days at home you may be tempted to wear them out for a few hours. I did this while on vacation and I nearly bought another pair of sandals because it hurt that bad... However, I'm not sure if they are worth the time of breaking in."
"* So I have been wearing these for about 3 months now and all of the little knobs are starting to flatten and break off... I'm average size, average weight and I have been a long time wearer of Adidas slippers. I wore the slippers with knobs/massagers maybe 10 years ago and they were great... My last pair did not have the knobs, only cushions... Typically, I can get 2+ years of wear out of these by wearing them only in the evenings and around the house. I don't expect this new pair to last more than another few weeks to a month. I am very disappointed and I will stay away from this style in the future."
"* I am a huge Addias guy and support them from apparel to include boots, sneakers, underwear, socks, graffic tshirts, golf and workout pants Addias is my go to brand. That said I'm not a hater but these sandals are really bad. I ordered them and they run a full size small so I returned them for one size up... I clearly thought that they were knockoffs because of the tiny velcro adjustment area and overall feel as the second pair wasn't as firm and had a big different feel when both are next to each other so noticable ,so sent for replacement and got the same cheap feel and strap that allows little to no adjustment. Like other reviews Adidas should have stuck to original design... When adjusted properly you have only an inch of velcro making contact with each other and when you walk the velcro begins to loosen due to such a small contact area and then back to the same issue foot comes loose and the sandal moves outward while your heel is off the sandal pad on the inside and if not careful you potentially roll your ankle. Disappointed with the purchase will go to my backup brand who has kept things the same."
"I don't know exactly how long they've been around, but it's decades. I've had several pairs over the past ten years, but now consider them my sole indoor shoe and often wear them all day around the house. The massaging nubs take a while to get used to, but once you are used to them you might come to depend on their massaging action. I used to wear warm house slippers in winter, but now wear these with socks instead, as I don't want to forego the therapeutic value of wearing them. Please note that the little nubs will break off as they wear. Mine break off-- not surprisingly-- in exactly the places my bare foot would leave a footprint. For me, that means having to replace the shoes every year and a half or so, as the nubs corresponding to my footprint break off."
