"Purchased these hoping for a sandal I could get wet but not slide around in as I usually do with a thong type once wet... Although the Jandals are not completely flat inside, the arch is not high enough to be considered supportive unless you're flat-footed or have very low arches - though any arch support is better than none... I expected I would only wear them when my feet would get wet but I've found myself running errands in them and using them for slippers!"

There is also a ridge that runs behind the toes to keep the foot in place and from slipping out the back, though it is not overly pronounced. Although the Jandals are not completely flat inside, the arch is not high enough to be considered supportive unless you're flat-footed or have very low arches - though any arch support is better than none. I read some reviewers found the nubs inside to be somewhat uncomfortable but I don't have an issue with them. They help keep your foot in place when your sandals are wet so your foot does not slide around... I expected I would only wear them when my feet would get wet but I've found myself running errands in them and using them for slippers!... I gave these 5 stars based on comfort for the price point, good fit, and being better than expected for a pool/shower sandal."

I ordered the dark brown, which is a gorgeous color in person. And I ordered a size bigger, as I had seen in the reviews to do (fits perfectly, btw). However, and maybe it's only because this is my first day wearing them, I am not too thrilled about these little bumps on the footbed. I take it they are meant to "massage" your feet when you walk, but they just kind of hurt my feet and feel uncomfortable, and when I take the sandals off, the bottoms of my feet feel sore and like they are burning. I'm wondering if I'm not enjoying those bumps because I have flat feet, or if it takes awhile to "get used to" the bumps... But as of now, from only wearing the sandals for about three hours, I don't think they are anywhere near as comfortable as everyone says they are."

For those who where a 1/2 size, definitely the size up is a must because the fitting is exact with no extra room if my feet were to decide to grow or something... I was confused about the 3 colors of brown, but bought the "Brown" hoping it would be closest in color to match my existing pair. The new pair arrived quickly, and the color is a pretty close match, however the material is stiffer and the straps seem tighter. I'm hoping the straps will stretch a little with use, but I'm disappointed that the cushiony feel isn't part of the new shoes... "I will give them to my sister who wears a size larger than I. I re-ordered in a size 5 and they fit perfectly, a little loose but just right. I plan to wear these primarily around the house and to take my dog out in damp/wet weather...
