"Because I didn't know if my printer was faulty or not, I ordered just the regular cartridges this time."

"I have purchased the HP 63XL from another supplier on Amazon before and it did yield closer to the advertised page yield, but still only about 70% of what was advertised."

"I resent paying the high prices for them and then have the ink run out after only a few printed pages."

"" I saw some other reviews saying the cartridge was depleted long before it should have been, I'll be documenting how many prints I'm able to get out of this."

"I would not recommend buying this ink, it seemed like there was something downloaded into the ink cartridges to cause the ad pop ups and slow your computer down."

"* I put these cartridges in my HP Office Jet 3830 a week ago and after printing only FOUR pages, I received a message on my printer and on my computer that the Tri-Color cartridge was defective."

"EDITED - I am adding to this because I took the defective cartridge to CostCo ink services (by mistake - was trying to get my old empty cartridge filled to save money) and CostCo said that my brand new ink cartridge that had never been used was only 75% full based on the expected weight and actual weight."

"Because I didn't know if my printer was faulty or not, I ordered just the regular cartridges this time... HOWEVER - FYI: My first older HP experience was the cartridges leaked inside and ruined the printer (that printer lasted the longest)... It was still under warranty and was replaced by HP, but the printer heads were faulty in that one."

"The black cartridge only yielded about 50 pages of black print (even when I printed a mix of 300 and 600 dpi)... I have purchased the HP 63XL from another supplier on Amazon before and it did yield closer to the advertised page yield, but still only about 70% of what was advertised. Ink that I have purchased from say, Office Depot or Staples, that is also HP, has lasted much longer."

"* I have purchased these HP ink cartridges many times... I only printed several pages and two of the color cartridges showed they needed to be replaced... I resent paying the high prices for them and then have the ink run out after only a few printed pages."

"Then I find the black cartridge already torn open & the cartridge missing the protective strip, also indicating it has been used... " I saw some other reviews saying the cartridge was depleted long before it should have been, I'll be documenting how many prints I'm able to get out of this. Double checked to see if I missed anything in the description, I still see nothing about reused cartridges being the items for sale."

"The ad kept popping up even when I was not printing anything and would do it every 20 seconds... I would not recommend buying this ink, it seemed like there was something downloaded into the ink cartridges to cause the ad pop ups and slow your computer down... Hopes this helps because I did not see anyone mention the ad's, but like the other reviewers, the ink is really low as well."

"* I put these cartridges in my HP Office Jet 3830 a week ago and after printing only FOUR pages, I received a message on my printer and on my computer that the Tri-Color cartridge was defective... Then I took it out and gently shook the cartridge and placed it back in the printer and received the same message for a third time. Finally, I replace the cartridge with a new Tri-Color cartridge, and I am hoping that the new cartridge will print more than the four pages like the first cartridge did."

"* I purchased this in August to have on hand when I ran out of ink. I ran out of ink, installed the cartridges and the black ink is defective... EDITED - I am adding to this because I took the defective cartridge to CostCo ink services (by mistake - was trying to get my old empty cartridge filled to save money) and CostCo said that my brand new ink cartridge that had never been used was only 75% full based on the expected weight and actual weight."

Less Quick

"* My XL ink cartridges level showed over 1/4 inch more ink - and printer showed the level, but I was unable to print. We decided it may have dried up like our last cartridges did beforehand... Because I didn't know if my printer was faulty or not, I ordered just the regular cartridges this time. Also, wondering if I should return my old cartridges to you for either examining or recycling?... HOWEVER - FYI: My first older HP experience was the cartridges leaked inside and ruined the printer (that printer lasted the longest)... It was still under warranty and was replaced by HP, but the printer heads were faulty in that one. Then I bought another HP printer this past February."

"The black cartridge only yielded about 50 pages of black print (even when I printed a mix of 300 and 600 dpi). I even took the cartridge out, shook it a bit to loosen up anything stuck and reset it. Would not buy this again. I have purchased the HP 63XL from another supplier on Amazon before and it did yield closer to the advertised page yield, but still only about 70% of what was advertised. Ink that I have purchased from say, Office Depot or Staples, that is also HP, has lasted much longer. This makes me very suspicious that the ink in these packages sold by Amazon is of recent and good quality. I will likely purchase from a big box store in the future, even though it is more expensive, it is definitely more reliable."

"* I have purchased these HP ink cartridges many times... I only printed several pages and two of the color cartridges showed they needed to be replaced. First, I don't print often and, when I do, it's always printed info, no heavy use of ink... I will have to purchase ink cartridges locally from now on so I can return them easily. Never had a problem with HP ink cartridges until my last two purchases. I resent paying the high prices for them and then have the ink run out after only a few printed pages. Someone is ripping us off, because we can't see how full the cartridges are!!!"

"* Ordered the 2 pack (1 tri-color, 1 black cartridge)... However, the box was taped shut, indicating it had been previously opened..... Then I find the black cartridge already torn open & the cartridge missing the protective strip, also indicating it has been used. Installed it & my printer gave me this messsge: "Previously Used Genuine HP Ink. " I saw some other reviews saying the cartridge was depleted long before it should have been, I'll be documenting how many prints I'm able to get out of this. Double checked to see if I missed anything in the description, I still see nothing about reused cartridges being the items for sale... Description says the black cartridge will yield "190 pages in black."

"I clicked the button not interested, but every time I printed something, the ad will pop up... The ad kept popping up even when I was not printing anything and would do it every 20 seconds. I went into my programs to see if something was downloaded and could not find anything that would relate to the HP ad. So I took the ink out of my printer and the ad's have gone away!... I would not recommend buying this ink, it seemed like there was something downloaded into the ink cartridges to cause the ad pop ups and slow your computer down... Hopes this helps because I did not see anyone mention the ad's, but like the other reviewers, the ink is really low as well. I had this for less than a week and I have thrown it away before its full use."

"* I purchased this in August to have on hand when I ran out of ink. I ran out of ink, installed the cartridges and the black ink is defective. The tri-color seems to be fine. Being that it is out of Amazon's return stage, I am in a quandary as to what to do. I have paid for a product that I am not able to use... EDITED - I am adding to this because I took the defective cartridge to CostCo ink services (by mistake - was trying to get my old empty cartridge filled to save money) and CostCo said that my brand new ink cartridge that had never been used was only 75% full based on the expected weight and actual weight. So not only was a I sent a defective cartridge but it was not full either."
