"I spent $10 on this, but I really don't mind because it's the extra coverage version and so much product, it will last me over a year for sure."

"One thing that everybody should know is that it does have a strong smell to it I personally love the way it smells and that's the one thing I remember when having it while I was younger was that I love the way it smells but Others May find the smell too strong so that would be something to take into consideration before purchasing another thing to think about is that I noticed with this I get really bad flashback when taking pictures so if you plan on using this for sentting your makeup for school pictures or anything involving pictures I would definitely think twice about using this because it does have such a bad flashback to it."

"This powder is used by just about everyone I know here in the south because we can wear it alone on days we don't want to wear a full face of makeup ,and we can use it over a full face of makeup to make sure the humidity doesn't cause our makeup to look like we just walked through a rainstorm."

"I'm happy the product came with the powder puff because I've never used it over the years of doing my own make up so I thought it was fun to use something different."

"When I read from an influencer that this product is a dupe for the Laura Mercier setting powder, I was really excited to find something a lot more budget-friendly so I ordered this product the same night."

"I'll say it's good for maybe 2 things: - If your foundation is just a little bit too dark or has a very noticeable red or yellow undertone this powder can help even that out and make the foundation look more natural."

"But, the more I sit here thinking about that while I m writing this review, all the houses I frequented with my parents, the hostess was older than my parents."

"I think it can simply serve as a mechanism to prevent spills or leaks, since the lid is not a screw top and a bit easy to come loose and the sifter has no other means of being sealed... With both powders, I usually use a damp beauty blender to apply a decent layer over my oily areas mentioned... I spent $10 on this, but I really don't mind because it's the extra coverage version and so much product, it will last me over a year for sure."

"I can't speak for it by itself because I did purchase this along with two other items and receive them all the same time but it was sealed really well with a protective plastic bag around it and also a plastic seal around it... I also like using this powder by itself when I just have to quickly run to the store or don't feel like putting on a lot of makeup it's great for blurring your pores and giving you the look of having makeup on without actually wearing a lot of makeup. One thing that everybody should know is that it does have a strong smell to it I personally love the way it smells and that's the one thing I remember when having it while I was younger was that I love the way it smells but Others May find the smell too strong so that would be something to take into consideration before purchasing another thing to think about is that I noticed with this I get really bad flashback when taking pictures so if you plan on using this for sentting your makeup for school pictures or anything involving pictures I would definitely think twice about using this because it does have such a bad flashback to it."

"But, in the end all you really need is a powder that doesn't cake up or turn orange and that sets your makeup so it doesn't slide off your face... This powder is used by just about everyone I know here in the south because we can wear it alone on days we don't want to wear a full face of makeup ,and we can use it over a full face of makeup to make sure the humidity doesn't cause our makeup to look like we just walked through a rainstorm... I am not the authority on skin tones or makeup, but with 11 siblings, countless neices,3 daughters,my mom,5 aunt's,and my grandmother all using this same brand, I can tell you I have seen this powder work through sunshine, rain, tears, and even childbirth and it is still our favorite, lol."

"* I heard great things about this product - I watch a lot of Youtube beauty channels, especially Patrickstarrr who uses this frequently... After browsing for some new products, I saw this and remember how inexpensive it was and that Patrickstarrr uses it to bake and set his face... I'm happy the product came with the powder puff because I've never used it over the years of doing my own make up so I thought it was fun to use something different."

"When I read from an influencer that this product is a dupe for the Laura Mercier setting powder, I was really excited to find something a lot more budget-friendly so I ordered this product the same night... The smell might be a little unappealing, as it smells like baby powder, but it doesn't linger for long and doesn't bother me at all... I would highly recommend this product to anyone, especially people with large pores and oily skin like myself."

"I'll say it's good for maybe 2 things: - If your foundation is just a little bit too dark or has a very noticeable red or yellow undertone this powder can help even that out and make the foundation look more natural... I'm black and I only use this all over when I have a foundation that's a little too deep in color or looks a little too red on me otherwise it makes my foundation look WAY too light and I look pale... I sometimes mix this with a tinted setting powder to make the other powder easier to blend because the consistency of the Coty powder is very blendable and smooth."

"But, the more I sit here thinking about that while I m writing this review, all the houses I frequented with my parents, the hostess was older than my parents... After about 10 minutes, you would go back and take a makeup brush and lightly brush off the excess powder... This powder is a dream, and if you are like me and have a hard time dropping $30-$40 on a small compact of finishing powder to set your makeup, you are going to love this powder!"

"I've used this powder a dozen times since purchase so I have a pretty fair experience to review this now... There's a big cotton puff, which I tossed because I'd never use it on the face knowing it can easily harbor bacteria and cause breakouts. I think it can simply serve as a mechanism to prevent spills or leaks, since the lid is not a screw top and a bit easy to come loose and the sifter has no other means of being sealed... With both powders, I usually use a damp beauty blender to apply a decent layer over my oily areas mentioned... But again, Laura Mercier translucent powder revealed even more oil within the same timeframe... I spent $10 on this, but I really don't mind because it's the extra coverage version and so much product, it will last me over a year for sure... Overall, Laura Mercier doesn't compare in effectiveness and price, and the only reason I use it is for traveling, and to use it up before it expires."

"* I remember using this powder the first time I ever tried makeup when I was younger so when I found it on Amazon I couldn't resist buying it... I can't speak for it by itself because I did purchase this along with two other items and receive them all the same time but it was sealed really well with a protective plastic bag around it and also a plastic seal around it... This powder leaves your face feeling soft and set but it definitely leaves you with a matte finish and like any powder if you use too much it will make your face look cakey. So when using this I would recommend not using a lot and if so definitely using a hydrating setting spray or with a dewy Foundation. I also like using this powder by itself when I just have to quickly run to the store or don't feel like putting on a lot of makeup it's great for blurring your pores and giving you the look of having makeup on without actually wearing a lot of makeup. One thing that everybody should know is that it does have a strong smell to it I personally love the way it smells and that's the one thing I remember when having it while I was younger was that I love the way it smells but Others May find the smell too strong so that would be something to take into consideration before purchasing another thing to think about is that I noticed with this I get really bad flashback when taking pictures so if you plan on using this for sentting your makeup for school pictures or anything involving pictures I would definitely think twice about using this because it does have such a bad flashback to it. Other than that I absolutely love the product and will continue to wear it every time I need to set my makeup or powder my face."

"But, in the end all you really need is a powder that doesn't cake up or turn orange and that sets your makeup so it doesn't slide off your face. This is the powder that does those things AND gives you the option to wear it alone or over a moisturizer when you just need a bit of coverage. This powder is used by just about everyone I know here in the south because we can wear it alone on days we don't want to wear a full face of makeup ,and we can use it over a full face of makeup to make sure the humidity doesn't cause our makeup to look like we just walked through a rainstorm. This powder is also good to mix with different browser definers to give a fuller brow appearance for those who have thinning or other brow problems that you can't just "draw" on. You can use a cream or pencil type brow definitely and then in your hand mix this powder with a an eye shadow that is close to your brow color and brush it on over the cream or pencil, then use a brow brush to finish up... I am not the authority on skin tones or makeup, but with 11 siblings, countless neices,3 daughters,my mom,5 aunt's,and my grandmother all using this same brand, I can tell you I have seen this powder work through sunshine, rain, tears, and even childbirth and it is still our favorite,lol... I will always buy this brand as I've never seen any powder that does any more for any price."

"* I heard great things about this product - I watch a lot of Youtube beauty channels, especially Patrickstarrr who uses this frequently... After browsing for some new products, I saw this and remember how inexpensive it was and that Patrickstarrr uses it to bake and set his face... I'm happy the product came with the powder puff because I've never used it over the years of doing my own make up so I thought it was fun to use something different. When setting my face, I immediately noticed how soft it made my skin look and feel... Since I got the translucent coverage, it didn't seem to effect the color of my foundation besides mattifying it and giving me flawless-looking skin... And it was probably my fault for not reading the ingredients list, but I was so hyped I didn't even bother... Eventually, it will go away but the first hour or so of having this powder on, I could smell my face."

"* Setting powders are fairly new to the drugstore, as most products of this type tend to only be made by expensive brands of skincare. Before starting to use this product, I was using the Laura Mercier setting powder which was fantastic but crazy expensive. When I read from an influencer that this product is a dupe for the Laura Mercier setting powder, I was really excited to find something a lot more budget-friendly so I ordered this product the same night. To my surprise, this product performs just as well as (if not better than) the higher end setting powders sold at Sephora and Ulta... The smell might be a little unappealing, as it smells like baby powder, but it doesn't linger for long and doesn't bother me at all... In terms of the performance of this product however, it works amazing at setting my makeup and making my complexion look even and smooth... I would highly recommend this product to anyone, especially people with large pores and oily skin like myself."

"I'll say it's good for maybe 2 things: - If your foundation is just a little bit too dark or has a very noticeable red or yellow undertone this powder can help even that out and make the foundation look more natural... ) or need a under eye setting powder that provides a little more coverage then this works for that. Otherwise, I would not advise using this powder all over your face... I'm black and I only use this all over when I have a foundation that's a little too deep in color or looks a little too red on me otherwise it makes my foundation look WAY too light and I look pale... I sometimes mix this with a tinted setting powder to make the other powder easier to blend because the consistency of the Coty powder is very blendable and smooth... It's not a powder you just want to pile on all over your face though, it's heavy. But how and what you use it for will depend on how much you like it."

"Not sure why I even thought this; I remember it being in all the houses I used the bathroom in. But, the more I sit here thinking about that while I m writing this review, all the houses I frequented with my parents, the hostess was older than my parents. I bought this product because I started hearing the phrase baking your concealer... What you do is: you apply your concealer and then you would take your powder and apply a lot of powder to the applied concealer... After about 10 minutes, you would go back and take a makeup brush and lightly brush off the excess powder... When I tell you that my face looked flawless, I am not exaggerating at all... This powder is a dream, and if you are like me and have a hard time dropping $30-$40 on a small compact of finishing powder to set your makeup, you are going to love this powder!"
