Champion Men's Closed Bottom Light Weight Jersey Sweatpant

Very Quick

"The large size were slightly long in the legs (which I expected on my shortish legs) but still a big tight in the waist; also, the waistband is not fabric-covered on the inside, making it uncomfortable against the skin."

"Then, immediately upon starting to wear the pair that I decided to keep, I began to wonder about the construction quality of the waist band because the elastic is no longer sewn/wrapped INSIDE of the jersey fabric like it used to be on the older version of these pants, and the stitching also just didn't seem very tightly sewn."

"These are probably the only sweatpants that fit all of them: 1> full-loop inner drawstring at the waist (full-loop: not a split drawstring that could get twisted in the dryer or lost in the seam by mistake; I don't even tie it - just pull it a bit and leave the rest to the elastic in the seam) (inner: not an outer drawstring that would lurk from under my gym t-shirt) 2> comfy ankle elastic (comfy: not a tight-fit at the ankle - so it's easy to pull on and off especially after an exhausting workout/game) (elastic: not a drawstring at the ankles that I would have to constantly conscious about while moving around in the gym or any new place I go to) 3> light-weight material (it's not heavy and/or warm - just ok to keep the cold at bay but it's not built for that) 4> not-irritable (and polyester irritates you, these come in a color variant with more cotton) 5> have held up pretty well over 6 months of constant use and machine wash+dry (may have faded a bit but the discoloration must have been uniform to have gone quite unnoticed (talking solely about the granite heather variant - haven't tried the others)) and look like they'll last me at least a year."

"* Wearing this product for a little while I thought it was fairly ideal light sweatpants - comfortable breathable with just right fit - though the waistband is uncovered on the inside and causes itchiness whenever any spot lacks some other clothing between it and the skin."

"I could not find basic cotton sweatpants that fit the way I prefer so I opted to buy from a picture from Amazon, and though the picture seemed to be what I was looking for, it was not in fact what I expected."

"His old grey sweats showed stains very easily, but these dark navy blue ones hide everything and are a fantastic fit."

"I love the way these pants fit and they are made with cool lite material that will help when I play pickle ball outside in the spring, summer and fall seasons."

"It was my mistake for not reading carefully enough the description, but I wanted 100% cotton, and apparently only the black and navy fill that bill... The large size were slightly long in the legs (which I expected on my shortish legs) but still a big tight in the waist; also, the waistband is not fabric-covered on the inside, making it uncomfortable against the skin... Label says 100% cotton and they feel soft, but are a little staticky after washing (usually indicates polyester and not 100% cotton)."

"Immediately upon receiving them I had to send one pair back because I couldn't help but notice the legs were CONSIDERABLY shorter than the other pair (despite both being the exact same sizes)... Then, immediately upon starting to wear the pair that I decided to keep, I began to wonder about the construction quality of the waist band because the elastic is no longer sewn/wrapped INSIDE of the jersey fabric like it used to be on the older version of these pants, and the stitching also just didn't seem very tightly sewn... The older pairs of these jersey pants that I used to own were FAR better made in every way, and they each lasted me several years before the "stretchiness" of the elastic on those older pairs finally broke down."

"* I've tried several different sweatpants over the years and having used them at the gym, for playing badminton, as sleep/daily wear etc... These are probably the only sweatpants that fit all of them: 1> full-loop inner drawstring at the waist (full-loop: not a split drawstring that could get twisted in the dryer or lost in the seam by mistake; I don't even tie it - just pull it a bit and leave the rest to the elastic in the seam) (inner: not an outer drawstring that would lurk from under my gym t-shirt) 2> comfy ankle elastic (comfy: not a tight-fit at the ankle - so it's easy to pull on and off especially after an exhausting workout/game) (elastic: not a drawstring at the ankles that I would have to constantly conscious about while moving around in the gym or any new place I go to) 3> light-weight material (it's not heavy and/or warm - just ok to keep the cold at bay but it's not built for that) 4> not-irritable (and polyester irritates you, these come in a color variant with more cotton) 5> have held up pretty well over 6 months of constant use and machine wash+dry (may have faded a bit but the discoloration must have been uniform to have gone quite unnoticed (talking solely about the granite heather variant - haven't tried the others)) and look like they'll last me at least a year... If only they came with a length option I would have ordered some for my dad, who wears the same waist but is shorter in height and such closed-ankle sweatpants cannot be altered like the open-ankle ones."

"* Wearing this product for a little while I thought it was fairly ideal light sweatpants - comfortable breathable with just right fit - though the waistband is uncovered on the inside and causes itchiness whenever any spot lacks some other clothing between it and the skin... So unless you don't mind untying and retying the drawstring (which can be quite a challenge) to safely deal with pulling down and pulling back up the pants, and a lot of cautiousness in general I wouldn't recommend them to you. Not snipping the drawstring might prevent one from wearing on the covering too much but I don't see how tying it when it's one continuous loop can be other than impossible or very hard to do to an adequate standard."

"The strings that are meant to hold the pant up are a complete joke, made of cheap material, they want to break the first time I cinch them up... It seems that sporting goods stores want you to buy a $75 pair of designer sweat pants which don't feel right going to the gym in. I could not find basic cotton sweatpants that fit the way I prefer so I opted to buy from a picture from Amazon, and though the picture seemed to be what I was looking for, it was not in fact what I expected."

"His old grey sweats showed stains very easily, but these dark navy blue ones hide everything and are a fantastic fit... He is 6'1", 240lbs and the XL size fits him perfectly (although he does like to wear pants low around his hips and not his waist). After wearing them for the last 6 days, he commended me on the purchase and asked about the brand."

"I love the way these pants fit and they are made with cool lite material that will help when I play pickle ball outside in the spring, summer and fall seasons... Champion Men's Closed Bottom Light Weight Jersey Sweatpant, Black, Medium The only negative is when I dry them in the dryer they collect a lot of lint. I am not sure what to do about that except put a wet cloth back into the dryer with the pants and see if the link will come off."

"It was my mistake for not reading carefully enough the description, but I wanted 100% cotton, and apparently only the black and navy fill that bill. I have ordered a pair in navy and will report if they are truly 100% cotton when I receive them... The large size were slightly long in the legs (which I expected on my shortish legs) but still a big tight in the waist; also, the waistband is not fabric-covered on the inside, making it uncomfortable against the skin... Label says 100% cotton and they feel soft, but are a little staticky after washing (usually indicates polyester and not 100% cotton)... Normally I wear a medium, but even the large size is too small around my waist... For lounging around the house, however, they are just too restricting around the midsection... ORDER AT LEAST ONE SIZE BIGGER THAN YOU ARE FOR A NORMAL FIT, TWO SIZES LARGER FOR A RELAXED FIT."

"Unfortunately, my older pairs finally began to fall apart, so I bought two pair of these new jersey pants to replace them. Immediately upon receiving them I had to send one pair back because I couldn't help but notice the legs were CONSIDERABLY shorter than the other pair (despite both being the exact same sizes). That was problem #1 and easily remedied by the return, but that one experience was a "quality control" red flag for me from day one. Then, immediately upon starting to wear the pair that I decided to keep, I began to wonder about the construction quality of the waist band because the elastic is no longer sewn/wrapped INSIDE of the jersey fabric like it used to be on the older version of these pants, and the stitching also just didn't seem very tightly sewn. Well, sure enough, here I am just a couple months after receiving them and already the stitching on the second pair that I kept has begun to to unravel! The older pairs of these jersey pants that I used to own were FAR better made in every way, and they each lasted me several years before the "stretchiness" of the elastic on those older pairs finally broke down... These pants are just one example of a Champion product that was once made with decent quality, but clearly no longer is."

"* This might have been the most disappointing pair of sweats I have ever purchased. The material is some blend rather than the all cotton sweats I have owned in the past. The strings that are meant to hold the pant up are a complete joke, made of cheap material, they want to break the first time I cinch them up. The cut of the pant kind of flares out round the seat and tapers down towards the ankle... Definitely not what I was looking for, and I ordered two of them.

"* These sweatpants were a good buy. My mentally ill cousin wears them around the house day in and day out. The elastic band is much taller than many other brands... His old grey sweats showed stains very easily, but these dark navy blue ones hide everything and are a fantastic fit... He is 6'1", 240lbs and the XL size fits him perfectly (although he does like to wear pants low around his hips and not his waist). After wearing them for the last 6 days, he commended me on the purchase and asked about the brand. He wants me to buy several more pairs just like the ones I bought."

"* shopping for workout pants with reasonable pricing is very difficult. Search and you will find and with God's help He showed me this pair... Pockets are like a pocketbook to me and I carry important items in my pockets and deep pockets serve the purpose giving me security that the items I put in my pockets will not fall out while I play and work. I love the way these pants fit and they are made with cool lite material that will help when I play pickle ball outside in the spring, summer and fall seasons. I highly recommend these.
