"Specially because this material is a foam like material and it may have your sweat seep thru which will cause an odor.""Pros: - Good size (I'm 5'9 and on the heavy side) - Material was comfortable and provided good cushion for the one and only session I used it for (it's getting returned) - Anti-skid (Full disclosure: I only used it on a carpeted surface but expect it would hold well on other surfaces) - Easy to unroll - 2 year warranty (I suppose this is only a pro if they stand by their product, which I cannot speculate on) Cons: - Material isn't 'resilient'; If I decided to keep it, I would expect it to look like many of the reviewer's pictures where impressions/dents don't bounce back."
"It s so nice to have a mat that s comfortable, and to have it from a company that gives me comfort that no matter what my yoga instructor throws my way, I ll have a product and a warrenty that will hold strong with me!"
"These are some of the things I like about this BalanceFrom Go yoga mat:- 1."
"She also likes that it rolls nicely and fits into the carry strap easily, which makes it easy to carry to and from her office and holds it rolled tightly when stored under her workstation (desk for us non IT people)."
"After reading almost all of it's reviews, and reading the fact that it was THE number one top selling yoga mat, (on Amazon), it was the thickness I wanted, the right color, material, a 2-year warranty, and just $18?!"
"I have used it for a couple of weeks now and it is so dense and thick that I do not even feel the hard wooden floor when I am kneeling or doing exercises where my hips are taking all of my body weight."

"At target a yoga mat is about $20 or more and the mats are actually thin compare to this mat s thickness... The pressure on your knees or hands are supported while doing modified push ups... Specially because this material is a foam like material and it may have your sweat seep thru which will cause an odor.""If I'm completely satisfied with my order and product, I should write a review and let them know after posting because they are offering 100 samples of their products a month, free of charge. "The mat has a decent give that makes poses like child pose and corpse very easy on the knees and back... I do suggest unraveling it and letting it rest for a few hours or overnight before use, it ll be a lot less likely to crumble if you give it time to stretch and relax after opening it from its packaging... It s so nice to have a mat that s comfortable, and to have it from a company that gives me comfort that no matter what my yoga instructor throws my way, I ll have a product and a warrenty that will hold strong with me!"
"I would want to recommend you this mat if you want to perform yoga without any strain on your body. These are some of the things I like about this BalanceFrom Go yoga mat:- 1... I would be really happy if they increased the length and width so that your complete body is inside for all yoga postures."
"Thin yoga mats and ones that the foam is not dense enough make her feel like she is kneeling on concrete. When she uses this one she loves it and some of her coworker friends have knelt on it and are considering getting their own... She also likes that it rolls nicely and fits into the carry strap easily, which makes it easy to carry to and from her office and holds it rolled tightly when stored under her workstation (desk for us non IT people)."
"That aside, I have never owned a yoga mat, or even sat on one before this. I purchased this one in particular, after looking at about 30 or so- some up to $70!... After reading almost all of it's reviews, and reading the fact that it was THE number one top selling yoga mat, (on Amazon), it was the thickness I wanted, the right color, material, a 2-year warranty, and just $18?!"

I cannot say enough good things about this mat and has made Pilates classes a joy (anyway as much as they can be, LOL!... I even bought another one for my 38 year old daughter who does Pilates classes with me!"

"I love the size of the mat and the black strap that allows for an easy transport if you are going to a yoga/ exercise class... At target a yoga mat is about $20 or more and the mats are actually thin compare to this mat s thickness... I feel as if I got a better deal on amazon because of the comfort I feel while using this mat at home versus the options I saw at target under $20... There was an option at target that may compare to the thickness as this one however it was over the $20 price I wanted to pay. As you can see in my pics I have all tile floors and it s very hard to stretch on... The pressure on your knees or hands are supported while doing modified push ups... Specially because this material is a foam like material and it may have your sweat seep thru which will cause an odor.""* Let me preface my review by saying this is the first yoga/exercise mat I've ever purchased. While I don't have experience with yoga mats, I am an experienced shopper and if my 2 stars weren't obvious, I did not find the quality of this mat to be in-line with the high ratings... If I'm completely satisfied with my order and product, I should write a review and let them know after posting because they are offering 100 samples of their products a month, free of charge. Offering free products seems like a great way to boost a customer's overall satisfaction; getting two mats for the price of one immediately becomes a great value when you realize the mat you purchased is just so-so. As I was using it, my 48 lb foster dog did a 'front stretch' (butt in the air, paws forward) to get comfy before circling to lie down and her nails punctured the mat in multiple spots... Did not affect how many stars I gave as this could be a personal preference because fully detachable straps may be the standard for yoga mats."
"* The mat is very soft and very good for grip on every surface I ve tried and I ve not had an issue with slipping feet either... The mat has a decent give that makes poses like child pose and corpse very easy on the knees and back... I do suggest unraveling it and letting it rest for a few hours or overnight before use, it ll be a lot less likely to crumble if you give it time to stretch and relax after opening it from its packaging. The strap is very useful and helps me keep my hands open while moving from rooms... It s so nice to have a mat that s comfortable, and to have it from a company that gives me comfort that no matter what my yoga instructor throws my way, I ll have a product and a warrenty that will hold strong with me! I m a little worried about the mat retaining smell, but I haven t had an issue as of yet... Also, when rolled tight, is about 6in in diameter, which is much better than I expected."
"* This is first yoga mat and it's been already 5 months since I bought the mat... I really liked this mat and came to my life as a huge relief as I was using some bedsheets to perform some basic yoga poses. I would want to recommend you this mat if you want to perform yoga without any strain on your body. These are some of the things I like about this BalanceFrom Go yoga mat:- 1... I sometimes keep my legs outside or come to the center so that my head doesn't go outside the mat for some poses. I would be really happy if they increased the length and width so that your complete body is inside for all yoga postures... This is my first product review on Amazon and am happy that I started off with this great product."
"So having not received a yoga mat for her birthday and needing one in a few days when her class started, she ordered this one that night. It shipped prime arrived on time and she was impressed when she unpackaged it on how thick it is and how nice the material feels... Her yoga class is at her work just before lunch and the exercise room where it is held has thin carpet squares over concrete and provides no padding. Thin yoga mats and ones that the foam is not dense enough make her feel like she is kneeling on concrete. When she uses this one she loves it and some of her coworker friends have knelt on it and are considering getting their own. She says yoga is much more relaxing now, she no longer notices the floor and that it was a great buy. She also likes that it rolls nicely and fits into the carry strap easily, which makes it easy to carry to and from her office and holds it rolled tightly when stored under her workstation (desk for us non IT people)."
"* First off, I want to be clear: I am NOT writing a review to get free products; that's not me... That aside, I have never owned a yoga mat, or even sat on one before this. I purchased this one in particular, after looking at about 30 or so- some up to $70!... After reading almost all of it's reviews, and reading the fact that it was THE number one top selling yoga mat, (on Amazon), it was the thickness I wanted, the right color, material, a 2-year warranty, and just $18?!... I rolled it out, laid down, and wondered why the heck I didn't do this earlier... , so I can tell that this will last me quite a while... Lastly, it has Velcro straps to hold it together, and a nice shoulder sling."
"* I take Pilates Class twice a week at my gym and the mats are horrible... They have to be doubled and tripled in order to do the kneeling exercises without knee pain... I have used it for a couple of weeks now and it is so dense and thick that I do not even feel the hard wooden floor when I am kneeling or doing exercises where my hips are taking all of my body weight. It is longer that most of the gym mats which is great and it is not slippery at all which is doubly awesome. I rolled it inside out to stop it from rolling up during the class and it stays nice and flat. I cannot say enough good things about this mat and has made Pilates classes a joy (anyway as much as they can be, LOL!... I even bought another one for my 38 year old daughter who does Pilates classes with me!"
