"If I have a particularly nasty outbreak of "pecia", as we call it, I will have my wife apply to the back of my squash because there are so many spots that I cannot see them well by holding a mirror to the back of my head.""They are fine point, which means they write a fairly narrow line, but it's not superfine (Sharpie makes a finer line marker if you want it even thinner)."
"The 12 pack is a great buy - much more cost efficient than buying one here and there when you need them."
"But with the slit shrink wrap, this item was surely taken in the shipping process, I have never had another shrink wrap slit like that."
"Unlike ball points I've never encountered the hellacious aggravation when your writing and the ink decides to flow intermittently leaving you to either go back over certain characters or more often than not toss the pen away and hunt down another."
"They are durable, long-lasting, hard to make the ink explode all over your hand, and the writing is nice and permanent."
"If you use a Sharpie many times constantly through the day, the retractable tip Sharpie saves your finger from getting inked if you miss replacing the cap correctly, or prevents one from losing the cap completely and thus dry out the pen."

"If I have a particularly nasty outbreak of "pecia", as we call it, I will have my wife apply to the back of my squash because there are so many spots that I cannot see them well by holding a mirror to the back of my head. I will note that there is a faint odor of magic marker from this product for about the first hour or so after one applies it to their head skin. If there are plans for a dinner party, unless you want the hosts to think that you were wearing an advertising sandwich board all day, you might want to apply the Sharpie long before you leave the house.""They are fine point, which means they write a fairly narrow line, but it's not superfine (Sharpie makes a finer line marker if you want it even thinner). The pens don't write forever, you have to replace them after a while, and keep them out of the sun or they will dry up... The caps fit well, and they protect you from getting the ink on something (like your shirt or whatever) you don't want marked."
"I have never had that problem with these... The 12 pack is a great buy - much more cost efficient than buying one here and there when you need them... You do have to be careful, because they will bleed through paper."
"Work fine and last long time, I use to mark copied DVDs and Envelopes that I keep CD/DVDs in... I guess someone in shipping saw the items through the shrink wrap and needed a marker and that slitting the wrap and taking one was OK... But with the slit shrink wrap, this item was surely taken in the shipping process, I have never had another shrink wrap slit like that."
"I find them unrivaled and indispensable for endless uses and as silly as seems to say I'm a Die Hard Sharpie Fan the fact of the matter is I am, which also probably means I need to get out more. Goodness, I use these for so many things from writing information on luggage tags, Camera and Video equipment to labeling heavy padded envelopes which I use to hold and, organize and collect jewelry, precious stones and so on... Unlike ball points I've never encountered the hellacious aggravation when your writing and the ink decides to flow intermittently leaving you to either go back over certain characters or more often than not toss the pen away and hunt down another."
"They are durable, long-lasting, hard to make the ink explode all over your hand, and the writing is nice and permanent. It seems really lazy to Amazon Prime these to my door when there's an office supply store a mile from my house, but amazingly enough, it's hard to beat Amazon's price on these given it is a 12 pack. I will definitely buy another pack of these in ten years when the current 12 pack is done."
"Easy to use, non-toxic, doesn't dry out for years if capped properly, consistent solid colors, writes on most anything... I've left Sharpies at various locations in different parts of the country, and now over 10 years old, they all still write!... If you use a Sharpie many times constantly through the day, the retractable tip Sharpie saves your finger from getting inked if you miss replacing the cap correctly, or prevents one from losing the cap completely and thus dry out the pen."

"Works well for spots up to 3/4 inch; I have found that spots larger than that size tend to color in poorly and appear like somebody used magic marker on my head... When you first put this on, smudge it around with a paper towel; it has a working time of approximately thirty seconds, after which it cannot be blended on your skin. If I have a particularly nasty outbreak of "pecia", as we call it, I will have my wife apply to the back of my squash because there are so many spots that I cannot see them well by holding a mirror to the back of my head. I will note that there is a faint odor of magic marker from this product for about the first hour or so after one applies it to their head skin. If there are plans for a dinner party, unless you want the hosts to think that you were wearing an advertising sandwich board all day, you might want to apply the Sharpie long before you leave the house... Finally, I have never had a lack of hair re-growth from the toxicity of this product on my head... I have not experienced yet any ill effects such as loss of memory or dulled ability for computations, but I will update this review should that occur (and I remember to update it).""These markers (I wouldn't use the term "pens" for various reasons) are definitely permanent. You write with them like on clothes or something, and it's there for the duration. They are fine point, which means they write a fairly narrow line, but it's not superfine (Sharpie makes a finer line marker if you want it even thinner). The pens don't write forever, you have to replace them after a while, and keep them out of the sun or they will dry up. If the cap is left off for a day or more, kiss off that marker. The caps fit well, and they protect you from getting the ink on something (like your shirt or whatever) you don't want marked... A dozen will last a long time if kept in a cool dry place with caps on."
" Sharpie is seriously the BEST brand of permanent marker. Others dry out, or run out quickly. I have never had that problem with these. I usually end up losing them before that can happen. The 12 pack is a great buy - much more cost efficient than buying one here and there when you need them... You do have to be careful, because they will bleed through paper. Smooth writing, without being too fine."
"I AM A PRIME CUSTOMER, AND EXPECT TO RECEIVE ITEMS I ORDER AND PURCHASE IN FULL, NOT PARTIAL FULFILLMENT I bought this item with the expectation that they were new and from the mfg... Work fine and last long time, I use to mark copied DVDs and Envelopes that I keep CD/DVDs in... It came shipped with Canon ink and the shrink wrap that covered the two items was cut and I did not think anything wrong... I guess someone in shipping saw the items through the shrink wrap and needed a marker and that slitting the wrap and taking one was OK... Originally I thought, someone in stock room might have taken or it did not have the full 12 when received from mfg. But with the slit shrink wrap, this item was surely taken in the shipping process, I have never had another shrink wrap slit like that. COME ON AMAZON, TALK TO YOUR PEOPLE ABOUT HONESTY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE / LOYALTY."
"I can't think of a time without Sharpies around. I find them unrivaled and indispensable for endless uses and as silly as seems to say I'm a Die Hard Sharpie Fan the fact of the matter is I am, which also probably means I need to get out more. Goodness, I use these for so many things from writing information on luggage tags, Camera and Video equipment to labeling heavy padded envelopes which I use to hold and, organize and collect jewelry, precious stones and so on. The Fine point is perfect not to wide not to flat and the line stands out. Unlike ball points I've never encountered the hellacious aggravation when your writing and the ink decides to flow intermittently leaving you to either go back over certain characters or more often than not toss the pen away and hunt down another. Seven clams for a 12 pack is the best deal in town, any town and they arrived quickly and in pristine condition. Highly Recommended."
"If there was a perfect marker pen, Sharpie would be it. Easy to use, non-toxic, doesn't dry out for years if capped properly, consistent solid colors, writes on most anything. This box set is a steal, at $7/12 that's nearly 60c each, half of what it typically costs to buy 1-2 pens. Since its used often, a stock of pens is useful to last for some years. I've left Sharpies at various locations in different parts of the country, and now over 10 years old, they all still write! I'd lose them rather than a Sharpie loose its capacity to write. If you use a Sharpie many times constantly through the day, the retractable tip Sharpie saves your finger from getting inked if you miss replacing the cap correctly, or prevents one from losing the cap completely and thus dry out the pen."
