HP 61 Black Original Ink Cartridge (CH561WN#140)

Very Quick

"(There is online intelligence between the printer and the cartridge that only allows the Instant Ink unit to work with your registered printer, and only so long as you keep paying HP the monthly fee."

"Just tried printing a photo with the 61 last night and got an incompatible ink message and the printer will not work with it at all."

"Another nice feature is that when using this HP genuine ink cartridge, you get a "low ink" warning which gives you about 20 pages worth of warning before you completely run out."

"And If Amazon looks at my ordering recently from them, they will see just how many boxes I have ordered through them for combo boxes."

"For owe of you that do not know, when one buys a new HP printer, I only know this of ink jets, some come with ink cartridges and if the salesman is shady he will really blow that up but it's a scam cause the cartridges contain hardly any ink so you certainly need to purchase new full cartridges, which brings up a choice of two different cartridges, one is just a regular one same size has regular amount of ink in it and so on, the cartridge people have been buying since the mayflower or one can buy the larger cartridge!"

"I purchased this cartridge not but 2 weeks ago and I'm already getting warnings about low ink and I've hardly printed any pages in that time."

"I was nerveous about purchasing ink cartridges online, but figured, if there was a problem, I have the back up of Amazon's guarantee and easy returns."

"We just got the second color Instant ink cartridge, which we just installed, but has been turned off as of July 30, as was the two thirds full black cartridge... (There is online intelligence between the printer and the cartridge that only allows the Instant Ink unit to work with your registered printer, and only so long as you keep paying HP the monthly fee... But since you can sign up at any time, our advice would be to wait until you have 10% left in the original cartridges, (print the status report,) and see if your usage and their cost vs."

"It did bother me that there was a note saying "as stated in the ad these may not be in original box"... When I installed the 61 color the alignment sheet printed and it looked like that one was okay... Just tried printing a photo with the 61 last night and got an incompatible ink message and the printer will not work with it at all."

"These cartridges are instantly recognized by the printer, DOES NOT SMEAR, and lasts much longer than the counterfeits... I do a lot of printing, 100s of pages per week, and I can say that buying genuine HP ink has saved me money. Another nice feature is that when using this HP genuine ink cartridge, you get a "low ink" warning which gives you about 20 pages worth of warning before you completely run out."

"Why did these dealer seperate all 6 ink cartridges, 3 black and 3 tri color loosely into one ugly plastic mailing bag, taped like a mummy ?... And If Amazon looks at my ordering recently from them, they will see just how many boxes I have ordered through them for combo boxes. . But, this is the first company through Amazon that I ever dealt with in receiving items that came seperate and out of the combo boxes."

"For owe of you that do not know, when one buys a new HP printer, I only know this of ink jets, some come with ink cartridges and if the salesman is shady he will really blow that up but it's a scam cause the cartridges contain hardly any ink so you certainly need to purchase new full cartridges, which brings up a choice of two different cartridges, one is just a regular one same size has regular amount of ink in it and so on, the cartridge people have been buying since the mayflower or one can buy the larger cartridge! not sure if available in all models/ colors but these larger ones can actually be a better buy due to buying in bulk so to speak, the one thing to keep in mind is that inkjet cartridges can dry out if they are not used frequently, please do to ask what frequently is as I do not know, but food for thought. To combat this, one could shoot a test page every now and again, easy enough pluso it's been my experience most people print fairly regularly especially if the consumables are less expensive, so check it out and do huge math."

"I purchased this cartridge not but 2 weeks ago and I'm already getting warnings about low ink and I've hardly printed any pages in that time. There are a lot of posts on the internet how the HP printers these days will make false claims about low ink levels so you go out and buy more ink, I'm starting to believe that... This is making me debate on selling this printer I just got a few months ago and getting another brand cause clearly HP isn't up to the quality it once was."

"I was nerveous about purchasing ink cartridges online, but figured, if there was a problem, I have the back up of Amazon's guarantee and easy returns... Once I finished installing them and printing the test print, I got a pop up on my screen that said thank you for purchasing authentic HP ink cartirdges, for doing so you are eligbble for a free reward-choose your reward!... So, I got cheaper ink than purchasing in a store, saved on gas and time by buying them online, got the perfect product that works great and got a free photo software for doing so!"

"Ink for this printer is very reasonable on Amazon - currently, (on July 24, 2015,) it's $17 for the three color unit, and $14 for the black one... That's $36 (plus tax) a year for UP TO 50 pages a month, plus any unused pages from previous months, (up to another 50 pages a month, if you have that many currently unused... We just got the second color Instant ink cartridge, which we just installed, but has been turned off as of July 30, as was the two thirds full black cartridge... We got an e-mail that said at the end of July, our new Instant Ink cartridge that we have been paying for each month, would quit working, because we cancelled... (There is online intelligence between the printer and the cartridge that only allows the Instant Ink unit to work with your registered printer, and only so long as you keep paying HP the monthly fee... But since you can sign up at any time, our advice would be to wait until you have 10% left in the original cartridges, (print the status report,) and see if your usage and their cost vs... In summary, these ink cartridges are the best, most cost-effective we have ever owned, but HP's Instant Ink offer is not necessarily a good deal for low usage owners."

"Bought a 57 and 61 tri color for two different printers... It did bother me that there was a note saying "as stated in the ad these may not be in original box"... When I installed the 61 color the alignment sheet printed and it looked like that one was okay. I didn't look at the foil pack on it before I discarded it because I wasn't expecting these problems. Just tried printing a photo with the 61 last night and got an incompatible ink message and the printer will not work with it at all. The merchant (PCNPRINT) provided quick refunds but I still had to go buy ink local to do my printing. I basically wasted a week and a half and watched my money float back and forth from them then back to me."

"I've tried the cheap route with the cartridge refills and have always been thoroughly disappointed... These cartridges are instantly recognized by the printer, DOES NOT SMEAR, and lasts much longer than the counterfeits. On top of that, HP has rewards you can earn every time you install a genuine HP cartridge (something I found out after I purchased my first HP cartridge). The cartridge easily snaps into the printer and is just as easy to remove when the time comes to replace them. I do a lot of printing, 100s of pages per week, and I can say that buying genuine HP ink has saved me money. Another nice feature is that when using this HP genuine ink cartridge, you get a "low ink" warning which gives you about 20 pages worth of warning before you completely run out... I would highly recommend this product."

"When I ordered this Quanity of 3 boxes, tri color, I assumed it would come as shown... It will be awhile before I even use these thrown together items from CJ Shop of Diamond Bar, California... Why did these dealer seperate all 6 ink cartridges, 3 black and 3 tri color loosely into one ugly plastic mailing bag, taped like a mummy ?... And If Amazon looks at my ordering recently from them, they will see just how many boxes I have ordered through them for combo boxes. . But, this is the first company through Amazon that I ever dealt with in receiving items that came seperate and out of the combo boxes. If I wanted the cartridges seperately, I would have ordered them that way. If you seek neatness, and receiving the combo box as you wanted ' all in One Box ' , use another company."

"I was nerveous about purchasing ink cartridges online, but figured, if there was a problem, I have the back up of Amazon's guarantee and easy returns. So I got my ink cartirdges within 2 days, opened them up, put them in and did the cartridge alignment and test print... Once I finished installing them and printing the test print, I got a pop up on my screen that said thank you for purchasing authentic HP ink cartirdges, for doing so you are eligbble for a free reward-choose your reward!...
