"Though I was on the fence about returning them due to the front of the footbed, I like the way they look overall, they are super comfortable, and it's good to have a "dressy" flip flop option, considering that's all I wear most of the year.""5 but since they don't come in 1/2 sizes, I went up to a 9 because I hate having my toes or heels hanging over the edge of a pair of sandals."
"They are my most comfortable pair of sandals right now, but they are harder than regular old flip flops to put on, especially when you are pregnant..."
"I'm not the most graceful person, and I've damn near fallen down trying to put these on while standing (ok, I'd had more than a couple beers that evening, but I digress)."
"I have really high arches, so I was a little worried that the strap over the top of the foot would be too tight, but they fit just fine - to give myself a bit more space I switched the layering of the straps from the way they are in the picture, so that the over-foot strap is underneath the ankle strap."
"When I first got the sandals, I regretted not getting a more exciting color combo (I got the grey and white stripe), but I ended up feeling pleased with my choice because they look good with just about every thing I own and are nice and casual without being too casual."
"Once you get used to them, they don't take any longer than that pair of sneakers whose shoe laces you tied, like, a year ago and have religiously left tied because they're just loose enough to put on without untying."

"I mention this because of my preference to buy from companies that pay their workers fairly and do something positive for the world rather than just churn out low-quality products made by cheap labor that pollute the environment... 1) As other reviewers mentioned, the footbed is shiny (rather than matte like the Yoga Mat Flip Flops) and this finishing treatment tends to stick to my feet, especially when my they are sweaty, which is often... Though I was on the fence about returning them due to the front of the footbed, I like the way they look overall, they are super comfortable, and it's good to have a "dressy" flip flop option, considering that's all I wear most of the year.""Any other pair of shoes would have given me a blister somewhere on my foot, especially straight out of the box - and especially sandals!... The piece of material holding the middle strap in place sits on the top of the foot, not between the toes, and is made of a soft leather like material... 5 but since they don't come in 1/2 sizes, I went up to a 9 because I hate having my toes or heels hanging over the edge of a pair of sandals."
"They fit very snug, the sling really supports my foot but the base of the shoe almost is too small I would be more comfortable wearing a 7... They washed well except for the area by the toe the fabric there not all the dirt came out but overall there was no shrinkage and the bottom part came out fine as well... They are my most comfortable pair of sandals right now, but they are harder than regular old flip flops to put on, especially when you are pregnant..."
"Not even kidding, I've had them for a couple weeks now, and I've already ordered another pair for myself, two for my mom and one for my sister... I'm not the most graceful person, and I've damn near fallen down trying to put these on while standing (ok, I'd had more than a couple beers that evening, but I digress)... BUT - on the super bright side, once these babies are on your feet, you're just not gonna want to take them off for the rest of the day anyhow."
"When a brand doesn't carry half sizes, I usually go up a size, but my last pair of Sanuks was a bit loose as a 10, so I went down to a 9 for these... I have really high arches, so I was a little worried that the strap over the top of the foot would be too tight, but they fit just fine - to give myself a bit more space I switched the layering of the straps from the way they are in the picture, so that the over-foot strap is underneath the ankle strap... The cloth also stretches out a little over time, but not enough to affect the fit (they get easier to put on, but still stay on well)."
"When I first got the sandals, I regretted not getting a more exciting color combo (I got the grey and white stripe), but I ended up feeling pleased with my choice because they look good with just about every thing I own and are nice and casual without being too casual... Hard, flat-bottomed sandals leave my feet in excruciating pain after I've been walking or standing for a few hours, but the wonderful cushion of these sandals leave the bottom of my feet pain free even after an entire day of walking on concrete or other hard surfaces. I have found, however, that the wide soft fabric straps actually have a small elastic band within them, and over time this elastic band cuts into the top of my feet and leaves grooves in my skin."
"If you don't need the extra support, however, these are absolutely fine for a day of walking commute--nicely cushioned with the mat material... Once you get used to them, they don't take any longer than that pair of sneakers whose shoe laces you tied, like, a year ago and have religiously left tied because they're just loose enough to put on without untying. I do recommend sitting down, the first few times, because sometimes your toes might get caught, when you're first adjusting."

"I mention this because of my preference to buy from companies that pay their workers fairly and do something positive for the world rather than just churn out low-quality products made by cheap labor that pollute the environment. Sanuk made this style last year, but this is the first time I have tried something other than a traditional flip flop from them... I have had surgery on both ankles and they tend to be very sensitive so I was slightly concerned about discomfort at my achilles tendon, based on the stretchy band inside the material... Though strong enough to easily hold the shoes on, the elastic within the fabric is gentle enough not to cause me any discomfort... 1) As other reviewers mentioned, the footbed is shiny (rather than matte like the Yoga Mat Flip Flops) and this finishing treatment tends to stick to my feet, especially when my they are sweaty, which is often... Unlike the problem I had with the Yoga Wildlife Flip Flops, the back of the footbed on the Yoga Sling 2 looks and fits fine. Though I was on the fence about returning them due to the front of the footbed, I like the way they look overall, they are super comfortable, and it's good to have a "dressy" flip flop option, considering that's all I wear most of the year.""I know that if I could loose a few pounds, some of my foot pain would go away, but that means exercising, and it hurts to walk... After reading all of the reviews on these sandals I thought I'd give them a try... Any other pair of shoes would have given me a blister somewhere on my foot, especially straight out of the box - and especially sandals!... Now I can look forward to my trip instead of stressing over how I was going to walk around all day while in pain... The piece of material holding the middle strap in place sits on the top of the foot, not between the toes, and is made of a soft leather like material... 5 but since they don't come in 1/2 sizes, I went up to a 9 because I hate having my toes or heels hanging over the edge of a pair of sandals... But even with them being a tad on the big size, I do not feel like I am going to fall out of the shoes."
"I have been wearing these for a couple weeks now, and I like them but they could have some improvements... They fit very snug, the sling really supports my foot but the base of the shoe almost is too small I would be more comfortable wearing a 7... I am afraid if I got the 8 it would be too big so if you wear a half size you might have some problems of these shoes fitting you... The toe part seems a bit wide and fitting it between my toes at the beginning was a bit uncomfortable... They are very comfortable though, but not as comfortable that I imagined but much more comfortable than all my other flip flops right now... They washed well except for the area by the toe the fabric there not all the dirt came out but overall there was no shrinkage and the bottom part came out fine as well... They are my most comfortable pair of sandals right now, but they are harder than regular old flip flops to put on, especially when you are pregnant..."

BUT - on the super bright side, once these babies are on your feet, you're just not gonna want to take them off for the rest of the day anyhow. My feet are slightly on the wide side, and the soles of these are very accommodating without leaving too much extra around the edges... The band across the top holds the sandal firmly in place, almost where they feel like an extension of your own feet. And another bonus - these don't make that obnoxious flip flop snapping sound while you walk... They are surprisingly versatile - absolutely stinkin' cute with shorts, casual dresses and maxi-length skirts/dresses, jeans, leggings....."
"When a brand doesn't carry half sizes, I usually go up a size, but my last pair of Sanuks was a bit loose as a 10, so I went down to a 9 for these... I have really high arches, so I was a little worried that the strap over the top of the foot would be too tight, but they fit just fine - to give myself a bit more space I switched the layering of the straps from the way they are in the picture, so that the over-foot strap is underneath the ankle strap. The soles are super-comfy, and I don't think the toe piece will require the usual wearing-in period since the fabric is so soft... They do take an extra moment to put on (mostly to get the straps to lay right) but that moment is very worthwhile! I could have left my other shoes at home, they were that great... To combat this, I wash the foot bed with yoga mat spray, and hand wash the cloth part with mild detergent. The cloth also stretches out a little over time, but not enough to affect the fit (they get easier to put on, but still stay on well)."
"I usually wear a size 6, but I bought a size 5 because I tried them on in a store and found that the 6 was too large for me... I like the fit, but others might feel like they'd want a little extra room in the back... When I first got the sandals, I regretted not getting a more exciting color combo (I got the grey and white stripe), but I ended up feeling pleased with my choice because they look good with just about every thing I own and are nice and casual without being too casual... The bottom part of the sandal is a lovely squishy texture that cups your foot and makes it very comfortable to walk or stand for long periods of time. Hard, flat-bottomed sandals leave my feet in excruciating pain after I've been walking or standing for a few hours, but the wonderful cushion of these sandals leave the bottom of my feet pain free even after an entire day of walking on concrete or other hard surfaces. I have found, however, that the wide soft fabric straps actually have a small elastic band within them, and over time this elastic band cuts into the top of my feet and leaves grooves in my skin... If I'm paying $30 for a sandal that is essentially is a glorified flip flop, then I wish it was a bit more perfect than it is."
"This isn't me having smelly feet and tons of smelly shoes and not being self-aware; I've had my friends smell my shoes (great friends, 10/10 would recommend) and they agree that Sanuk just soaks up the smell. There isn't much you can do about that, and it allegedly isn't noticeable unless you're right near them... I don't recommend these to people who need arch support, because they don't provide it, despite being made from yoga mat material. If you don't need the extra support, however, these are absolutely fine for a day of walking commute--nicely cushioned with the mat material... But the grey pair looks great with the everyday, and then I have a black pair for casual/outdoor dates...
