"They do cut well with a butter knife if you have smaller pills and want them to last longer.""These are so pliable that even after sitting for a month, they will still be a better fit for the pills than what we start with on the other."
"I tried many other methods, and she always spit the pills out."
"Odie "snarfs" these right up and will actually come out to the kitchen when she hears me open the cupboard door where they are kept."
"We have tried giving her pill with peanut butter (very messy) and in cheese (pill just pops right out), but pill pockets are our preferred method."
"Our older dog takes a couple different pills each day, and one of them must not taste very good because she spits it out every single time you give it to her."
"We actually buy the biggest ones we can find now- for capsules I think- and use one pill pocket cut in half for each pill."

"I have three dogs that are getting elderly and are allergic to something at our new house that they had never been allergic to before... You can squish and mold the pockets so that the pills are completely encapsulated inside the Pill Pocket... They do cut well with a butter knife if you have smaller pills and want them to last longer.""The problem I had was that by the time you got half way through the bag, they started getting stiffer and stiffer. These are so pliable that even after sitting for a month, they will still be a better fit for the pills than what we start with on the other. Cost is a little bit higher, so I think I'll use the recommendation of others and split them in half, since she gets one pill in the mornings and one pill at night."
"I tried many other methods, and she always spit the pills out... We got the chicken flavor and the pills are soft and pliable - easy to get the pill in and hide it... Even when she no longer needs her meds, I will treat her with these."
"Odie "snarfs" these right up and will actually come out to the kitchen when she hears me open the cupboard door where they are kept. I went back and forth between giving this 4 or 5 stars because when I get to the bottom of the bag the pockets are kind of smushed... The one pill I give my dog is a rather large tablet and doesn't fit in the pocket."
"She just sees it as getting a treat and is very happy to take her pill. We have tried giving her pill with peanut butter (very messy) and in cheese (pill just pops right out), but pill pockets are our preferred method. The price can be high, although Amazon was cheapest for me than the local pet stores, so I break each pill pocket in half and push my dogs pill into half the pill pocket."
"Our older dog takes a couple different pills each day, and one of them must not taste very good because she spits it out every single time you give it to her. I'd heard of Pill Pockets before, but never tried them with her... She takes the pills with absolutely no problems, and our younger dog (prone to allergies) takes her occasional pill with ease, as well."

"I have three dogs that are getting elderly and are allergic to something at our new house that they had never been allergic to before... So I went for a week or so of trying to hide the pills in cheese, bread, you name it--I tried it. Most of the time they would eat whatever I hid the pills in but would leave the pills behind... I didn't understand what was so great about them the first bag I used... You can squish and mold the pockets so that the pills are completely encapsulated inside the Pill Pocket... Rarely do I get a spit out pill. They do cut well with a butter knife if you have smaller pills and want them to last longer.""Odie "snarfs" these right up and will actually come out to the kitchen when she hears me open the cupboard door where they are kept. I went back and forth between giving this 4 or 5 stars because when I get to the bottom of the bag the pockets are kind of smushed... The one pill I give my dog is a rather large tablet and doesn't fit in the pocket. I break the pocket in half and make a sandwich out of the pill and pocket... I recommend the capsule variety because they are larger and thicker than the tablet size. So I can put 1 1/2 pills in 1 Pill Pocket... Its a better value and since the bag seals up, none go stale."
