However, it was significantly smaller than I anticipated; the actual lamp and wooden base are just barely over six inches, and then underneath the wooden base are ugly black plastic legs on which it stands... I know each lamp is "unique", but there is a clear spot where the top appears as though it was supposed to round off--but instead there's a flat surface and a weird sharp jagged edge that sticks out from the top."

The box arrived torn, and the stickers sealing the lid appeared dirty and used, as though they had been removed and replaced--there was even a hair stuck under it (gross)... On a very technical level, the lamp functioned, which is the only reason it has two stars. When I plugged it in it lit up, and it dimmed and brightened appropriately with the dimmer switch. However, it was significantly smaller than I anticipated; the actual lamp and wooden base are just barely over six inches, and then underneath the wooden base are ugly black plastic legs on which it stands...
