"I'm assuming most of the reviews here are from owning these gloves only a short time... After about a month of moderately heavy use, these started to smell from a mix of BO and chemicals. I've never had an issue like this with my workout gloves (I previously had purchased leather). I tried to wash them but the smell would come back in about a week... When I first got these I was skeptical on how quickly they would wear... I would say about 30% of the time when I finish a workout and take the gloves off, there is a huge black stain on my inner wrist... The callousing was far, far less than I would have gotten with no protection, but the whole point of using gloves for me is to preserve my skin. My grip isn't unusually strong, and I've not had that happen with other good quality gloves. Most of my work with these gloves included kettlebells, dumbbells, and medicine balls, so I don't think it was the gear either... The time between receipt of the product and the return deadline is more than ample to try these out for yourself... It seems like most buyers really like the product, so odds are you may too and that I was just an outlier."

I can feel the difference and I love the fact that there's room for the fingers and hands to move and breathe with the open part at the back. I record my workouts a lot so this helps since I don't have to constantly take the gloves off to work with my phone. I measured the circumference around my knuckles to get the right size and got a Large which fits well. There is some room though so when I jump and grab the bar sometimes there is a bit of slack that gets folded up but it's nothing I can't get rid of by adjusting my grip again. The packaging and care instructions were very helpful as well."
