And while I've never really paid attention to what brand of filter I buy, I believe Filtrete is at least one of the brands that I have purchased from a brick and mortar store... I have used both of the filters in this pack and am ready to order more... I don't know anything technical about filters... With these filters, that writing wasn't on the shorter side of the filter like I am used to, so at first I didn't think it was there and wasn't totally sure which way to put it in, but I found that information instead on the longer side of the filter. The only thing that could make these better would be to have each filter in its own separate plastic bag. When I open the bag to use the first filter, the other filter is exposed, and since I generally keep the extras in my garage until I'm ready to use it, and my garage is filthy, I have to work to keep that filter clean until use."
