"One minor annoyance was that I had to use my own teflon tape because the one that came with the packaging would not unpeel... The attached short video of the leak is with water pressure less than half way because I did not want to waste too much water to demonstrate the defect."

"I had to use a flow restrictor inside the mouth of the wall pipe to generate some pressure... One minor annoyance was that I had to use my own teflon tape because the one that came with the packaging would not unpeel... Since the shiny fake spiral metal covers the hose, I cannot tell where the leak is or even contemplate a way to tape it inside... I am thinking whether I should replace the whole unit or not since I have to remove everything and re-attach like a new installation because the head is supposedly made of the same material that could become defective soon. Updated Jan 31, 2018 The replacement shower hose (free from the vendor) came in two days ago. It withstood two cycles of showers already and holding well under full water pressure."

What I loved about this unit is that it came with everything I needed to install it... It came with the plumber's tape and washers; I didn't have to make a trip to the Home Depot to pick it up... Less than 10 minutes I had the shower running without leaks, Yay! What I love about this unit compared to my older one is how easy it is to adjust the pressure settings. "If you're in need of a new shower head, I highly recommend this one. Original Review: Purchased on 10/9/2017 and installed some time during the same month (can't remember the exact day, but it was at least a week after the purchase). We purchased this because our shower stall is narrow and the original shower head was angled too far out forward towards the glass wall... As for the plumbing tape, I only used it for the connection between the new shower head and existing pipe coming from the wall... I've seen negative reviews stating that the hose leaks after a few months... We don't use any settings other than power rain and rarely remove the shower head from its mount. After about two months using the shower head as previously described, we have not experienced any leaks."
