All the water stays in the bucket. This part may be stupid, but whatev-the tip of the mop spins freely. This makes it easier for the mop to spin when you press the pedal. A couple of pumps makes the mop almost dry. I can mop and dry the floor in 15 min. What I really like it the dirt stays in the bucket, not the mop head."
