"The gel insert comes out, so I put it on top of my orthopedic inserts, and it's the best of all worlds! The shoes are made of leather and appear well made... I've worn a different version of the 608's in the past, and the quality and support has not changed... They fit well enough but there isn't a lot of room in the toe box, so my toes are basically at the end of the shoe. If you prefer that extra toe room, I STRONGLY recommend going up a full shoe size... These photos were taken last month when the shoes weren't even a year old."
