"I would say it took about 8 minutes from uninstalling the glove box to reinstalling the glove box having never done this before.""The name-brand filter (a very good quality but not nearly as impressive in composition when compared to this Installer Champ Premium) I had used previously was equal to or superior than (in my opinion and experience, for what I could tell, and based on the dust and other debris it had successfully captured) the OEM filter that came installed in my Toyota Prius V, another high-quality product."
"When my son put the Installer Champ Premium Breathe Easy Cabin Filter into the slot it went right in!"
"On this replacement filter, the information (including air flow direction) is printed on the side of the filter (one of the thicker ends that holds all the pleats in place) - it might be better to have it printed on the pleat instead."
"I liked the fact that it had the same extra foam on the ends to help seal in the airflow and not allow bypassing air to flow around it, The Subaru filter has this foam as well, but some of the other filters listed on Amazon did not have the foam."
"Obviously there's always some underlying cause of odor like food smells, wet fabrics, plastic off-gassing from the interior, but as long as you have a quality filter to actively remove those smells while you're driving, it doesn't bother you as much until you can address the problem."
"I had this one (16 Fusion) out of the box and the car ready for my wife in less than 5 minutes."

"I had already watched a YouTube video of how to change the filter in my 2012 Hyundai Tucson a week prior so I wasn't worried about installation... The included instructions were basic images to remove the right and left stoppers inside the glove box (unscrew them) The printed instructions did not show how to open the "damper arm" (image included)... I would say it took about 8 minutes from uninstalling the glove box to reinstalling the glove box having never done this before."")" details that say a lot about a manufacturer's integrity and overall caring about the whole customer experience, especially in these days of what seems to be increasingly disappointing buying experiences Info about the filter and which way is "UP" is clearly stenciled on one side of the frame, in bold, easy-to-read lettering... The name-brand filter (a very good quality but not nearly as impressive in composition when compared to this Installer Champ Premium) I had used previously was equal to or superior than (in my opinion and experience, for what I could tell, and based on the dust and other debris it had successfully captured) the OEM filter that came installed in my Toyota Prius V, another high-quality product... Thanks to Toyota's impressive design, allowing replacement of the cabin air filter without the need to disassemble half of the dashboard--as has been the case with some cars I've owned--I popped it in to its new home behind the lower glovebox of my car in a leisurely 5 minutes, max."
"They suggested we also needed engine and cabin air filter replacement at an absorbent cost... Was worried about the installing the cabin filter as you have to take out the entire glove compartment to get to it... When my son put the Installer Champ Premium Breathe Easy Cabin Filter into the slot it went right in!"
"I've been replacing our cabin air filters for years (in many different cars), so I've seen a few of these things... On this replacement filter, the information (including air flow direction) is printed on the side of the filter (one of the thicker ends that holds all the pleats in place) - it might be better to have it printed on the pleat instead... However, I believe most cabin air filters are rectangular, so it would simply be a matter of trial and error if you had the filter turned sideways when you tried to install it the first time."
"* This is my first order from Installer Champ of the BreathEasy filter... I liked the fact that it had the same extra foam on the ends to help seal in the airflow and not allow bypassing air to flow around it, The Subaru filter has this foam as well, but some of the other filters listed on Amazon did not have the foam... I drive about 30,000 miles per year and replace the filter each 3 months so the cost (which was great) will save me money in the long run over having it installed at Subaru dealer or even Jiffy Lube for that matter."
"My previous filter was purchased at big auto parts retailer and was a lot flimsier, no activated carbon, and a lot more expensive... I drove around for a couple days with my AC on and the cabin air re-circulation turned on and within a short amount of time I noticed there was no more odor. Obviously there's always some underlying cause of odor like food smells, wet fabrics, plastic off-gassing from the interior, but as long as you have a quality filter to actively remove those smells while you're driving, it doesn't bother you as much until you can address the problem."
"* I must admit I was initially very skeptical of an air filter that costs 1/2 of the other name brands... It was actually easier and quicker than YouTube videos out there... I had this one (16 Fusion) out of the box and the car ready for my wife in less than 5 minutes."

"While I was waiting, I jumped on the Amazon app and found this one available with Prime for $14... I had already watched a YouTube video of how to change the filter in my 2012 Hyundai Tucson a week prior so I wasn't worried about installation. It can easily be changed through the glove box without any tools so this purchase was a no brainer... There is writing on the filter edge and an arrow to show you which way to insert it. The arrow should point up, ignore the fact that the words are then upside down. The included instructions were basic images to remove the right and left stoppers inside the glove box (unscrew them) The printed instructions did not show how to open the "damper arm" (image included)... I would say it took about 8 minutes from uninstalling the glove box to reinstalling the glove box having never done this before.""* This is a high-quality outstanding cabin air filter, well constructed, much heavier than most (heavier than any I've found), and embedded with plentiful charcoal filtration substance throughout. Even the packaging--sturdy box, filter sealed within plastic, and ample instructions and diagrams in English and diverse languages, even a tab to record the date and mileage of the installation, for those who keep records of such items, shouts out "old school" quality and attention to those "little (? )" details that say a lot about a manufacturer's integrity and overall caring about the whole customer experience, especially in these days of what seems to be increasingly disappointing buying experiences Info about the filter and which way is "UP" is clearly stenciled on one side of the frame, in bold, easy-to-read lettering... The name-brand filter (a very good quality but not nearly as impressive in composition when compared to this Installer Champ Premium) I had used previously was equal to or superior than (in my opinion and experience, for what I could tell, and based on the dust and other debris it had successfully captured) the OEM filter that came installed in my Toyota Prius V, another high-quality product. Consequently, I would have been happy to repurchase a duplicate of that filter had it not been so frustrating and confusing to locate one based on the numbers written on the filter housing versus the cross-references listed on Amazon, as well as on the manufacturer's website... After a bit of research, scans of customer reviews and feedback, and price considerations, I decided to give this Champ Premium a try, and I'm glad I did! Thanks to Toyota's impressive design, allowing replacement of the cabin air filter without the need to disassemble half of the dashboard--as has been the case with some cars I've owned--I popped it in to its new home behind the lower glovebox of my car in a leisurely 5 minutes, max."
"* Had our Ford 2013 In for service for oil change and a door lock recall. They suggested we also needed engine and cabin air filter replacement at an absorbent cost... Ordered upgraded filters online for much cheaper than what the dealer was going to use... Was worried about the installing the cabin filter as you have to take out the entire glove compartment to get to it. Found an excellent YouTube for step by step on the exact same model... In the video they had a hard time getting the filter all they way in... When my son put the Installer Champ Premium Breathe Easy Cabin Filter into the slot it went right in!"
"I've been replacing our cabin air filters for years (in many different cars), so I've seen a few of these things. This filter was much heavier and more rigid than the OEM Honda filter. There may have been a few less pleats overall (larger pitch) on this replacement filter compared to the OEM, but I suspect that is because the actual filter medium is thicker... My only suggestion for this product is this: On the OEM filter, when you open up the filter door, you will see filter information and the air flow direction printed on the pleat facing you. On this replacement filter, the information (including air flow direction) is printed on the side of the filter (one of the thicker ends that holds all the pleats in place) - it might be better to have it printed on the pleat instead. This change in the location of the printing could initially lead to some confusion about which ay the filter is supposed to be turned when sliding it back into the filter slot. However, I believe most cabin air filters are rectangular, so it would simply be a matter of trial and error if you had the filter turned sideways when you tried to install it the first time."
"* This is my first order from Installer Champ of the BreathEasy filter... The instructions were actually pretty good and it took all of 5 minutes to install. The filter feels of a higher quality and and slightly heavier/thicker than the original Subaru filter. I liked the fact that it had the same extra foam on the ends to help seal in the airflow and not allow bypassing air to flow around it, The Subaru filter has this foam as well, but some of the other filters listed on Amazon did not have the foam. We will see how the carbon fares at removing any smells as the original doesn't to have the carbon. I drive about 30,000 miles per year and replace the filter each 3 months so the cost (which was great) will save me money in the long run over having it installed at Subaru dealer or even Jiffy Lube for that matter. So far it seems I will be ordering another filter from them in another 2-3 months."
"* I must admit I was initially very skeptical of an air filter that costs 1/2 of the other name brands. But based on the other reviews, I decided to try it... It was actually easier and quicker than YouTube videos out there... But it is actually more rigid than the old filter... Do you think maybe you don't need one cause your car is under 2 years old?... I had this one (16 Fusion) out of the box and the car ready for my wife in less than 5 minutes... Save it for later, you'll only loose 5 minutes of your life."
