"Maybe because the extra slouchy part doesn't weigh down the hair too much. I've been wearing it during our Florida winter cold snap to cover up my thinning pixie style hair (due to chemo). Those who have lost all of their hair to chemo may want to put on a thin liner cap underneath it. It's soft, but it does produce a lot of heat (if you make it more fitted) which may make an already sensitive scalp itchy... It's a great head covering, and fits my medium sized head perfectly... I'd definitely recommend this oversized slouchy style for any one who is losing their hair to chemo... The Indy Pink is more of a warm rosy color that will go well with pale complexions."

Also another really cool thing is that hat is a good size with the perfect amount of slouch . I want to say if you have a particularly small head that hat might be a tiny bit too large for you. But I feel like I have a big head and this thing fits with room to spare.
