It's find if you layer it and the pockets are comfortable and a good size."

I'm curious to how the medium would fit, but the large on me does not look like the fitting of the model in the picture... I expected to be able to wear it outside on a brisk day, but wind may penetrate it if you don't have anything underneath... It does seem like Columbia went down on quality as that was not the case before... This is more of the type of jacket you wear if the AC is on too high or you just want to warm up because you don't want to turn on the heater... If you have the money, buy something better like North Face... It's find if you layer it and the pockets are comfortable and a good size."

I normally take a medium, but I'm "hippy" and felt the bottom was just a little too clingy when it was zipped up. I ordered the large this time so it would not hug my hips as much, and that is just what has happened. I really like the fact that it zips up to my chin without choking me, and I REALLY like the zipped pockets. I can't imagine wearing this solo, though, if that's what you want. I am usually a small in women's sizes and the purple one I have is a small... The medium is a little looser for a more relaxed fit... These fleece jackets are so cozy and pretty colors... The only thing I didn't like was that the gray one took longer to ship to me than the purple one. It arrived 8 days after I ordered it, whereas I got the purple one in 2 days if I recall correctly... Will probably order another just to have different colors!"

I was very happy with it when I tried it on........ at work (on the days certain coworkers are working, it gets chilling in the office), the main piece of the zipping part of the zipper came off as I was attempting to zip it for the first time.
