"Can't go wrong with Brooks!"

"I have a friend who runs the Wasatch 100 every year (yes, that's 100 miles without stopping) and he told me that you get what you pay for with running shoes and that "quality is remembered when price is forgotten"... I've dealt with bunions before and have a little wider than average foot and these have plenty of room in the toe box and sides while still being snug on my foot... I can see why some reviewers call them a bit bulky but honestly that can only be in comparison to a much smaller and lighter shoe because I would say there isn't anything heavy or bulky about them.""* I'm not a runner, but i'm training for a 5k as a goal this year and had been wearing my two pairs of Nike "running" shoes and having a LOT of pain in my heels, knees, ankles, and shin splints EVERY... The first day I wore them I ran a full mile straight (on top of my goal on the couch to 5k app for that day) for the first time ever in my life... I though they were going to feel bulky but they ended up feeling like i was running on air."
"I currently walk about an hour and a half each day and have been in need of new shoes for some time... I put these on straight out of the box and I felt like I was meeting a twin I never knew I had... I'm going to give these 90 days and decide at that point if I want to buy another pair."
"* I got these as a replacement for my old Asics runners, and am surprised to find that I like them much better... It's hard for me to find a runner that fits my narrow foot, and even harder to find one that doesn't feel like it's sliding up and down, or almost off my achilles/back of ankle area... The front of the shoe fits my narrow feet very well, whereas in most brands, there's so much room that I have to add a thick, padded insole just to fill in the space."
"After sever foot pains and a Dr visit, I purchased my first high end shoe (Asics) They worked well, but after a year I needed to replace them (which is normal)... 3 months past by, and I'm committed to my walking but I finally can't take the pain anymore... I looked and looked for another pair of Asics that worked for high arches and couldn't seem to find an affordable, good looking pair that describes what I needed."

"* Here's what you should know about me: I am not an experienced marathon runner and this is the first pair of *real* running shoes I have ever purchased... I have a friend who runs the Wasatch 100 every year (yes, that's 100 miles without stopping) and he told me that you get what you pay for with running shoes and that "quality is remembered when price is forgotten"... There is a little extra room in the toe, but when they're laced up I don't notice it at all, so I decided to keep them rather than try 8... I've dealt with bunions before and have a little wider than average foot and these have plenty of room in the toe box and sides while still being snug on my foot... I can see why some reviewers call them a bit bulky but honestly that can only be in comparison to a much smaller and lighter shoe because I would say there isn't anything heavy or bulky about them... I went for a 3 mile run straight out of the box (and every morning since - so I've probably put 20 miles on them by now) and have had NO PAIN!... While I can't compare to other name brands, I can tell you that they have made a difference for me and I'm glad I bought them!""* I'm not a runner, but i'm training for a 5k as a goal this year and had been wearing my two pairs of Nike "running" shoes and having a LOT of pain in my heels, knees, ankles, and shin splints EVERY... . I put out a request to all my fit friends on a good running shoe and they all said Brooks hands down... The first day I wore them I ran a full mile straight (on top of my goal on the couch to 5k app for that day) for the first time ever in my life... I though they were going to feel bulky but they ended up feeling like i was running on air... 5 in these and have a small bit of room if I wanted to add an insert or when my feet swell... as my first pair of real running shoes, I HIGHLY recommend these. Color selection is great and arent near as obnoxious as some other running shoes i've seen."
"* I have tried every shoe under the sun and these are by far the best. I underpronate (supination) in my stride and therefore I deal with a bit of foot pain, mostly in the tops of my feet. I currently walk about an hour and a half each day and have been in need of new shoes for some time... I put over 500 miles on them and my toe finally popped through the top. As for those, I never felt like they quite fit me 100%, but they did the job... I put these on straight out of the box and I felt like I was meeting a twin I never knew I had... I'm going to give these 90 days and decide at that point if I want to buy another pair."
"* I got these as a replacement for my old Asics runners, and am surprised to find that I like them much better... My dress/ street size is 8, and these runners in 9 regular fit me perfectly. It's hard for me to find a runner that fits my narrow foot, and even harder to find one that doesn't feel like it's sliding up and down, or almost off my achilles/back of ankle area. Brooks Ghost is the best shoe I've ever tried as far as staying securely on the back of my foot!... The front of the shoe fits my narrow feet very well, whereas in most brands, there's so much room that I have to add a thick, padded insole just to fill in the space. The arch support is excellent, too, and I had a great run with them, right out of the box!... On top of all that, they make my feet look smaller!"
"* Fit just right and the best shoe I've ever worn. I have high arches, meaning my feet tend to roll outward, placing a lot of my weight on the outer corners of my feet. After sever foot pains and a Dr visit, I purchased my first high end shoe (Asics) They worked well, but after a year I needed to replace them (which is normal)... 3 months past by, and I'm committed to my walking but I finally can't take the pain anymore... I looked and looked for another pair of Asics that worked for high arches and couldn't seem to find an affordable, good looking pair that describes what I needed. So I googled best shoes for high arches and these Brooks Ghost came up... 1 week later and I'm up to 4 miles a day with a pep in my walk."
