"I saw these priced just a few dollars more than the last pair I got for her 2 weeks ago, and figured that since they are Sketchers they had to be better... The soles are quite a bit thicker than your average slipper - I would say on-par with a shoe or better, and the top of them is made with a sweater like material, finished with a faux fur liner around the foot insert... You won't be disappointed with these slippers if you want a serious indoor/outdoor slipper for around the house AND for quick trips to the store or wherever, as they do look like shoes too."

"We both work from home, and we have an office on our property a short walk from the main house, so we are always transitioning from inside to outside with our slippers. I saw these priced just a few dollars more than the last pair I got for her 2 weeks ago, and figured that since they are Sketchers they had to be better... My wife has already forgot to change into shoes twice while taking small trips with the kids around town, and there were no problems, nor did anyone even notice. The soles are quite a bit thicker than your average slipper - I would say on-par with a shoe or better, and the top of them is made with a sweater like material, finished with a faux fur liner around the foot insert... The stitching around the outside is very thick and the top of the shoe is attached to the sole quite securely, so I don't see that breaking apart anytime soon - but time will tell. I don't have a single negative thing to say about these, except maybe that I can't find them in a men's size/design for me! You won't be disappointed with these slippers if you want a serious indoor/outdoor slipper for around the house AND for quick trips to the store or wherever, as they do look like shoes too."
