"Spent many hours out in the cold sledding with the family on Christmas Day. Fit well as I am petite 5'1", but with my snow boots, they were perfect... If you weigh less than that they should be just fine as well."

"These are suppose to be for size 16/18 and they were too tight in the legs probably would fit more for a 14. So I bought the 1X for a 16/18W and those were way too big fit more like a 20... Maybe if the material could stretch the XL would have worked."

"A litttle snug in the bum ( can t exactly do deep squats in them with out feeling a slight snugness in the thighs, but can still do a deep squat without these ripping at th seams haha) but they allow for enough movement that they will work great for our snowboarding trip... I d say if your in the 5 0-5 3 maybe even the 5 4-5 range (if you re wearing boots they should be fine, they just won t hang to the soles), the short will work great!... For me, it definitely fits in the bum region, but my waist is a bit more slender and left these a little loose when not utilizing the awesome Velcro side straps that these have to adjust the waist line."

"* Used this on a 2-week photo trip in Iceland... Its water resistant but not for longer hours exposed to rain. I felt a bit cold on the knees."

"* I'm between a size 22 and 24. Ordered the 3X initially and couldn't even get them buttoned... It fits, but it's still tight..."

"Spent many hours out in the cold sledding with the family on Christmas Day. Fit well as I am petite 5'1", but with my snow boots, they were perfect. I weigh 120 lbs. and fit perfect around the waist. If you weigh less than that they should be just fine as well. Kept me very warm. They aren't too bulky and give you a slender silhouette."

"A litttle snug in the bum ( can t exactly do deep squats in them with out feeling a slight snugness in the thighs, but can still do a deep squat without these ripping at th seams haha) but they allow for enough movement that they will work great for our snowboarding trip... I am 5 1 140lbs with a 34 inch waist, 36 inch hips ( an inch under the belly button) and a 41 inch bottom... I d say if your in the 5 0-5 3 maybe even the 5 4-5 range (if you re wearing boots they should be fine, they just won t hang to the soles), the short will work great!... I wear these at my belly button because of the inseam, but I prefer my pants to be a bit high waisted anyway... I d say if you wear a size 6-8 (due of diameter of your bum, not because of length) than the Large will work great... For me, it definitely fits in the bum region, but my waist is a bit more slender and left these a little loose when not utilizing the awesome Velcro side straps that these have to adjust the waist line... go from there since that s the tightest point on these pants and the waist line itself is customizable with the Velcro straps."
