"Don't buy it thinking it will flood your house, or even a large living room, with the sweet scent of whatever favorite essential oil combination you like best... I then have to scroll through a dozen or more light settings before it shuts off since there is no simple On/Off switch for the lights... When you take the lid off and set it down to fill the air diffuser with water, there s always water residue left where it sat... If I didn t have the urge to tape it together every time I look at it in fear it s going to topple over and pour water everywhere, I would feel more relaxed by it."

Don't buy it thinking it will flood your house, or even a large living room, with the sweet scent of whatever favorite essential oil combination you like best... I then have to scroll through a dozen or more light settings before it shuts off since there is no simple On/Off switch for the lights... This is nice if you use an essential oil/oils which will last awhile and won't weaken with prolonged time in the reservoir. I have had good luck filling this diffuser and running it for a few hours and coming back a day or two later and running it again with whatever was left in the reservoir... The other setting alternates On/Off periodically which may be better for you if using a strong scent or you have a more sensitive sense of smell... One of two essential oil combinations in the reservoir will either be Four Thieves Oil (also known by other names) or a mix of Vetiver and Clary Sage in 80 to 100 ml of distilled water (don't use tap water)."

They also included some additional instructions to see if it helps get a stronger scent from the diffuser which helped a little... Perhaps I expected the scent to be much stronger, but that could be an issue with the essential oils I ve purchased rather than the diffuser itself, as the diffuser works as advertised... ********* I didn t really know much about essential oils and/or diffusers of such oils, so I gave this item a try as a starter... These oils have a rather faint smell (even after using 4-5 drops of them), so this item isn t the most effective tool, if you wanna use it as an air freshener. It has a colored band of light around the middle which gives the diffuser a calming glow... You simply open the top, fill it with water and add your oil. When you take the lid off and set it down to fill the air diffuser with water, there s always water residue left where it sat... It s impossibly slick and hard to hold on to which coupled by the fact it doesn t lock on at all, that s just a recipe for disaster when handling this thing at all. You have to be walking on egg shells careful while transporting it around or just trying to remove the lid to fill it with fragrance. I never had that much trouble with the other one which was shaped differently and came with a cup... Aaaaall of that frustration aside, it s beautiful to look at with the color changing, it has three settings... If I didn t have the urge to tape it together every time I look at it in fear it s going to topple over and pour water everywhere, I would feel more relaxed by it."

The lingering aroma though is still in the air so its not like I feel as if I have to go and refill it... I brought it into our large family room and put fewer drops in and he liked it and could feel the benefit of the oil."
