I also have a humidity sensor on the near opposite side of my room and the reading barely changes 1-3% after the unit runs it's course... Also, I think only very light sleepers would be able to be woken up by the "beep" it makes when it auto shuts off."

"On low setting it can last more than the whole night after I go to bed, on high it doesn't last the whole night. My mom has an $80 diffuser from "SpaRoom" and, even in her opinion, this one works leagues better... It's not anywhere near as loud as i was expecting it based on the review I read that complained about it. Looks: Been a long time since I've bought a product on Amazon that looks better in person than it does online."

"* This is an updated review, I had previously given it two stars because it wasn't functioning properly, but the manufacturer contacted me after I wrote my initial review and offered to send me a replacement and gave me advice on running it without having the same problems again... I will update my review again in a few months, but I want great companies like this to do well, so my fingers are crossed that my new diffuser works well! OLD REVIEW I bought this back in October 2017 and loved it until it stopped working... Then the lid became next to impossible to pry off to refill with water and essential oils. I had to jam my fingernail under it or use a knife to pry the top off, and even then the top part would come off but the plastic funnel part would still be hard to pry off after that... It worked great for about 3 months, but I don't feel like an item like this should have to be replaced every 3 months, should it? My daughter and I loved how it looks and the fact that we can change the color of the light according to our preferences, but it's useless if it's not working as a humidifier or diffuser."

They offered to send me a refund if I returned it through amazon, but it took me so long to figure this out, I am passed the return time..... *** I am updating this review to reflect that Alice responded to this review and said they are looking into the beep and refunded my money. I do not think I can give more stars because the diffuser was still a fail for me."

The scents aren't very strong, but that could be due to the size of my room. I just turned it off to add some more eucalyptus and now I can smell it a little easier. I feel like I've had to add quite a bit of essential oils to this diffuser to smell anything, and I'm not sure if it's the diffuser, the oils I've chosen, or mucus."

Never been dropped or even moved more than setting the lid to the side to refill the water... The only thing I would change is the beep that it makes when it shuts off. I use this with lavender essential oil when I go to bed at night on the 6 hour setting... well, the issue is that it beeps when it turns off! Occasionally the beep will wake me up, usually I sleep right through it so it s no a huge complaint, if you re a light sleeper it may wake you, though."

"Ive used rose, lavendar, cedar, peppermint and orange essential oils in it with great success. It usually runs for a good 8-20 hours depending on the dryness level in my home if i set it to run until all water is out. (Winter vs humid summer) I use the color changing feature at night even if im not using the diffuser; makes a great nightlight! It only makes about a 3-5% difference in air humidity so it wont work alone as a humidifier (we tested it during the winter). I am thinking about buying another one for the house.
