"*As a tip for recording with audio on this, if you have good editing software like Vegas Pro 14 or whatever you can record the face cam, then add it to your editing software and use Audacity to record the MUCH cleaner audio and sync the audio from your source microphone (I have the Blue Yeti) to the audio from this camera and once you ve got it how you like, just mute the camera s audio and you have a perfectly synced video with very clean audio* If my c920 broke tomorrow (due to dropping or crushing somehow, etc.""To me it looks like Logitech is well aware of the issues with this webcam and its software but refuse to or are unable to do anything about it."

"The picture quality was just as good as I saw through videos and livestreams from those that used this webcam... Overall if you are looking for excellent picture quality for the price, then this webcam does it without breaking a sweat. Dont get this webcam just for the microphone though, you're better off with a proper headset or standalone microphone."
"Heres how I got it going: 1) There are about twenty five drivers this thing installs when you plug it in. Only one is needed; Windows will try to set one of the others up as the OUTPUT device which of course doesn't work... I would have to agree with that; its just not a Win 10 camera."

"I watched the video and this camera caught my eye, so with only that much info I bought it and it came in about a weeks time. Now I ve had it for about a month or so and I really like it... Next let s talk about how it performs, the resolution is very clear (1080p) and there is hardly any lag between for example; moving my hand in front of the camera is very responsive when played back since it transfers my actions to the screen almost immediately. It handles well in low light but like most cameras, it shines recording in well lit areas. It also comes with a program to run it and I guess it could be useful but I d swap to OBS or something where you have a lot more choices with user customization. The only thing this guy struggles with is audio, for the love of god please don t use this camera s microphone to record or stream with because it picks up everything... *As a tip for recording with audio on this, if you have good editing software like Vegas Pro 14 or whatever you can record the face cam, then add it to your editing software and use Audacity to record the MUCH cleaner audio and sync the audio from your source microphone (I have the Blue Yeti) to the audio from this camera and once you ve got it how you like, just mute the camera s audio and you have a perfectly synced video with very clean audio* If my c920 broke tomorrow (due to dropping or crushing somehow, etc.""I didn't really mind that though because I got it for video and I have an external mic anyway... That really shouldn't be the only way to "fix" your webcam... I downloaded the official Logitech Webcam control software which contains the option to turn the light off... After doing some research I found that there are a ton of people posting in the official Logitech forums with the exact same issue... "* As a Mac User, I read with trepidation the reviews that talked about how this camera was incompatible with Mac OS... It's huge and curved, but it only included a terrible little speaker and no camera or microphone. Now, I hate to have to add clutter to my desktop, and eat up a USB port, but there was no other choice... Running MacOS Mojave on an aging MacBook Air, I was worried about the reviews that I had read... You just plug it in and download the free Logitech Camera Settings app from the Apple App store. Then you just launch something like FaceTime to activate the camera and you can use the Camera Settings app to zoom/position the camera image. I used the microphone mainly to work with Rosetta Stone language software - and it has no problem recognizing the microphone."
"I have to talk fairly loud in order for it to pick up your voice pretty well... (which I should have done before that, I know) and he also said the microphone does not pick up very well. He also suggested to get a mic for it if you want it to pick up your voice well... Sometimes, their stuff wears out within a couple of years or so depending on what you get but for the most part, their stuff works pretty well for the price. I do intend on keeping this camera and getting a mic so I don't have to talk so loud in order for my voice to be heard (naturally, I know I have to talk a bit louder in order for my voice to be heard clearly in videos but for this one, I have to talk a lot louder than I normally do even under normal circumstances when people ask me to speak up). If you're reading this, that means you are doing at least a little better than I did on the research but I suggest you take it one step further and look it up on Youtube as well. I had been looking at this one for a few years at least and because of my trust for logitech, I only read a few reviews and then went on about my day/Ordered it."
"* From livestreamers, reviewers, YouTube producers and many other avenues, I saw many of my favorite people I watch use this webcam... Opening the study and professional looking Logitech box, I found the webcam, and papers... The webcam itself is mostly plastic, which in of itself was pretty durable... The picture quality was just as good as I saw through videos and livestreams from those that used this webcam... The microphone isn't that great though, it's better than most webcam mic... Overall if you are looking for excellent picture quality for the price, then this webcam does it without breaking a sweat. Dont get this webcam just for the microphone though, you're better off with a proper headset or standalone microphone."

Only one is needed; Windows will try to set one of the others up as the OUTPUT device which of course doesn't work... 3) Of course, you have to unplug the camera before you try to listen to the video. 4) And obviously this camera will NEVER work with anything interactive like Skype... I would have to agree with that; its just not a Win 10 camera... I may change my rating after I use it a while but at present this is in the 'just barely is functional' category."
"* I am replacing my old Logitech C525 webcam with this HD Pro C920. So far I'm having a little difficulty with some settings that, with the same versi n of Logitech software (Logitech Webcam Software 2... I'm using on a Windows 10 (64 bits) and I have tested it with skype (secondary purpose for using it) without any problems and audio (on the other side of the call is fair. I am also testing it with OBS studio (64 bits), but for that I use an USB Condenser Mike (Marantz) as the audio capture device... As you can see on the pictures posted, thios C920 webcam is mounted on a mini tabletop tripod (Newer) with a standard attachment for Digital cameras (Compact & DSLR) and Video cameras. Only thing I'm not fully satisfied is there appears to be something wrong with Logitech site for registering the product; it gets stuck after submitting the info... Finally I would hope that the software from logitech is updated to take full advantage of this webcam."
