"Style/overall appearance I have an athletic and slightly more muscular build than average and this shirts medium fit me every where just right...... Material quality was not terrible, the stitching is solid but for the price I would have expected a little thicker material... Without the name that anchors outdoorsmen and tradesman like myself I do not think people would be paying these prices."

"Sadly, I found two things: First, the shirt shrunk a good deal more than expected, such that the sleeves generally were just on the edge of being short, but still acceptable... At the same time, I reach out to you for assistance, as I really do desire to purchase this shirt and obtain a replacement, but before I do I wanted to ask for your guidance with regard to shrinking, and whether or not this was a common or uncommon occurrence?... I cannot see myself wearing this shirt in an extra large, as I believe it would likely be too large around, but perhaps I am incorrect and that might be the appropriate size."

"Many flannels start to shrink in odd places after time, while I have had this shirt for over a year and it still fits as well as the day that I got it... This flannel is not fleece lined like some of the other shirts on the market, but definitely is one of the warmest non-lined shirts you can buy... You will be extremely satisfied with this shirt, from the overall comfort to the extra features like the double pleated back and pencil slot in the left chest pocket."

"* I am 6'0 ~170lbs athletic build and bought one medium and one large as I usually teeter between those two sizes. I pulled the first shirt out of the packaging, unfolded it, and said "this must be the large" because the thing looked huge... I really wish Legendary Whitetails made slim-fit versions of these, as I'm sure they would get a lot of business."

"Trying on the shirt it still felt great but the arms are still too long... If your looking for something light-weight , I enjoy the brands Costco have in stock: Jach's?... , for around this same price point after 40% off has great flannels with 2ply material around the buttons and other places."

"I still think it's a good value, but as you wash it you will notice buttons becoming loose, and I have had to sew one back on after two washes. Since purchasing this, I have bought a few Land's End Favorite Flannel's, and they are better... I noticed the only sizes left for any of these are XXL so just be careful as that is probably closer to an XXXL."

"About once every 20 years I'll find some good shirts, but I'm far more often disappointed... I haven't had it that long, so I really can't speak of the longevity and wearability, but it's a great fit, it's very comfortable, and it looks great... I'd say the sleeves are about 3/4" too long."

"the brand you see your friends liking on facebook and from what I understood the benchmark of tradesman work flannels, back-country fashion aficionados and general outdoorsman... Style/overall appearance I have an athletic and slightly more muscular build than average and this shirts medium fit me every where just right...... Like way bigger than any one mans arms would need for accommodation?... Material quality was not terrible, the stitching is solid but for the price I would have expected a little thicker material. There is a Chinese hipster flannel brand on Amazon called SSLR that makes much higher quality flannels for the same price or less... But this is capitalism and you have a competitive company with a superior product and cheaper price, which makes it noteworthy... Without the name that anchors outdoorsmen and tradesman like myself I do not think people would be paying these prices."

"As I first put it on, it was a bit on the larger size, but I figured with a first wash and dry (on low setting) the shirt would naturally tighten up a bit. Sadly, I found two things: First, the shirt shrunk a good deal more than expected, such that the sleeves generally were just on the edge of being short, but still acceptable... The right sleeve was a good half inch shorter than the left sleeve, which I actually measured with a tape measure to confirm it wasn't something I was imagining... At the same time, I reach out to you for assistance, as I really do desire to purchase this shirt and obtain a replacement, but before I do I wanted to ask for your guidance with regard to shrinking, and whether or not this was a common or uncommon occurrence?... Again, when I first put the shirt on, it appeared even a bit long in the sleeve, although the fit seemed quite right for my size all around otherwise. After the wash and dry, the fit became near perfect, with the exception of the right sleeve aberration, sleeves maybe just on the edge of short.

The 100% extra thick cotton ensures that this will be one of the most comfortable shirts in your closet... This is also quite a bit thicker than some of the other, cheaper flannels that I have purchased. The corduroy lined cuffs and neck add to the overall comfort of the shirt, as well as an added layer of warmth where needed on those chilly mornings in the woods. This flannel is not fleece lined like some of the other shirts on the market, but definitely is one of the warmest non-lined shirts you can buy... Layering this flannel over a long sleeve shirt and under my sweatshirt has proven to be one of the best ways to dress for the cold mornings and mild afternoons in Iowa.

So I decided to give it a shot because I really do love the pattern and the thickness, but the sleeves were massive... like it would fit well on someone with arms literally twice the size of mine. Untucked (which is how I planned to wear it), the shirt went past my crotch, definitely too long. I really wish Legendary Whitetails made slim-fit versions of these, as I'm sure they would get a lot of business... Unfortunately this was just way too big everywhere for me to even consider keeping it."

"I washed on cold and dried timed was about 30 minutes on low. Trying on the shirt it still felt great but the arms are still too long. The flannel feels a bit flimsy: You know the kind of quality you get when you wear matching pajamas under the fifty dollar mark. It is the type of material that will stretch or maneuver if your body heats up--not keeping its shape... I have a few other things from Lengendary that I love... If your looking for something light-weight , I enjoy the brands Costco have in stock: Jach's?... , for around this same price point after 40% off has great flannels with 2ply material around the buttons and other places."

"I just wish there was a larger selection in colors as I would buy more. Update follows: As some have noted, this is not heavy flannel, and after a few months of wear, it's starting to show. I still think it's a good value, but as you wash it you will notice buttons becoming loose, and I have had to sew one back on after two washes. Since purchasing this, I have bought a few Land's End Favorite Flannel's, and they are better. However, in those I wear a large so I am thinking Legendary Whitetails run large since mine is medium in this style. The sleeves are still longer than the large in the Land's End shirt. I noticed the only sizes left for any of these are XXL so just be careful as that is probably closer to an XXXL."

"* I've had such abysmal luck with flannel shirts. About once every 20 years I'll find some good shirts, but I'm far more often disappointed. They shrink way down, or they wear out far too fast. I haven't had it that long, so I really can't speak of the longevity and wearability, but it's a great fit, it's very comfortable, and it looks great. Now when I say it's a great fit, I mean that it's a bit large... I'd say the sleeves are about 3/4" too long... So now I'm going to immediately order one in a different color."
