"" I compared it with a box that worked from another vendor and it had z20 on it and only said "Intended for single use only."

"The problem with the cartridge itself, simply put, was that the cartridge (in a plastic wrapper) failed to install on my HP printer- an Office Jet Pro 8600 that the Amazon site assured me was compatible with this cartridge."

"I am really disappointed, in Amazon AND the seller, that for certain office supplies that most people try to have on hand BEFORE they run out, like INK, don't have a longer return policy."

"The colored ones don't seem to last as long, even though I don't do more color printing than before, However, this is strictly a subjective assessment, as I've never compared the amounts of liquid the various types of cartridges hold."

"After 90 MINUTES on the phone with HP tech support, I learn that you must replace all four cartridges with the "Z10" cartridges (whether or not they are empty) and then have HP "reset" your computer."

"86 and have 14 full XL cartridges that will not work in any of our HP Officejet Pro 8100 printers."

"They are the same cartridges I have been using for years and I have bought original HP cartridges to avoid these types of issues from happening."

"I now have to go to the store to purchase new ink even though I have 5 new boxes of 950XL in my possession which were not cheap... " I compared it with a box that worked from another vendor and it had z20 on it and only said "Intended for single use only... I don't know how (HP wasn't sure how either) - but these are fraudulent cartridges."

"Anyway, because I had several cartridges already I put this one on the shelf to rotate in later, almost nine months later as it turned out. The problem with the cartridge itself, simply put, was that the cartridge (in a plastic wrapper) failed to install on my HP printer- an Office Jet Pro 8600 that the Amazon site assured me was compatible with this cartridge... I understand that some HP printers may not use all the chip data, or the option to read the chip can be turned off, or faked but that's like rolling dice and it came up losers in my case."

"* I bought these without even looking at reviews because I have never had a problem when buying authentic ink before... I am receiving the incompatible error message as well with my Officejet Pro 8610... I am really disappointed, in Amazon AND the seller, that for certain office supplies that most people try to have on hand BEFORE they run out, like INK, don't have a longer return policy."

"The colored ones don't seem to last as long, even though I don't do more color printing than before, However, this is strictly a subjective assessment, as I've never compared the amounts of liquid the various types of cartridges hold... That was the only time I've had any problem with an HP printer cartridge. I would not use generic cartridges - those I've know who've done so have too many complaints about them."

"I purchased a set of four ink cartridges, but when I inserted the black one, my printer told me it was "incompatible. " I returned it and ordered another, only to see the same message. After 90 MINUTES on the phone with HP tech support, I learn that you must replace all four cartridges with the "Z10" cartridges (whether or not they are empty) and then have HP "reset" your computer."

"86 and have 14 full XL cartridges that will not work in any of our HP Officejet Pro 8100 printers... Our other GOOD cartridges do not say this - our GOOD cartridges say (in this same space on the label) "Intended for single use only". Looks like we will have to start buying our cartridges locally again and paying more."

"They are the same cartridges I have been using for years and I have bought original HP cartridges to avoid these types of issues from happening... The packaging was all original, in good shape and states that the cartridges are intended for the US and Canada... Or just go to your local store as the Amazon price is not much better and you will be able to deal with a live person right away if there are any issues."

"Now that I need them, it is coming up that it is incompatible with our printers. I have always purchased 950XL and have not had any problems until now... I now have to go to the store to purchase new ink even though I have 5 new boxes of 950XL in my possession which were not cheap. It says on the box "z10 - For use only in US and Canada. " I compared it with a box that worked from another vendor and it had z20 on it and only said "Intended for single use only. " I have just been on the phone for some time with Hewlett Packard... I don't know how (HP wasn't sure how either) - but these are fraudulent cartridges."

"Anyway, because I had several cartridges already I put this one on the shelf to rotate in later, almost nine months later as it turned out. The problem with the cartridge itself, simply put, was that the cartridge (in a plastic wrapper) failed to install on my HP printer- an Office Jet Pro 8600 that the Amazon site assured me was compatible with this cartridge. I went through a day of trying various get-around suggestions for non-HP or re-furbished cartridges that I found on the web but nothing helped. The chip that is normally found on ALL HP cartridges was missing and the area sealed over (it looked melted) ; so it's pretty clear this is a re-furb of dubious quality. I understand that some HP printers may not use all the chip data, or the option to read the chip can be turned off, or faked but that's like rolling dice and it came up losers in my case. Unfortunately despite supposedly still being under warranty (according to the label on the cartridge itself) neither the seller (betaink) nor Amazon would address my request for a return... What do you think the chances are that HP will honor an "end of date manufacture" on a cartridge that's been emasculated??"

"* I bought these without even looking at reviews because I have never had a problem when buying authentic ink before. I buy in advance for my offices, because we can't run out of ink. I am receiving the incompatible error message as well with my Officejet Pro 8610. I, too, am past the date that I can return them... I can put my old cartridge back in with no problem and it will continue to work. I am really disappointed, in Amazon AND the seller, that for certain office supplies that most people try to have on hand BEFORE they run out, like INK, don't have a longer return policy... Thank God I got the warning that my ink was low and just decided to change the cartridge now."

"* These cartridges are for my HP Office jet 8600 Plus all-in-one. As anyone who uses HP printers knows, their inkjet cartridges are very expensive. (Recently I read that ink jet fluid is probably the most expensive liquid you have in your house!... The colored ones don't seem to last as long, even though I don't do more color printing than before, However, this is strictly a subjective assessment, as I've never compared the amounts of liquid the various types of cartridges hold. I had a cyan cartridge break open with another HP model (manufacturer defect) years ago... That was the only time I've had any problem with an HP printer cartridge. I would not use generic cartridges - those I've know who've done so have too many complaints about them."

"* My HP printer has always worked flawlessly, and I've never ever had an issue with replacing an ink cartridge... Apparently, HP has changed the ink cartridges to be zoned for different locations. If your new cartridge has a "Z10" on it, you must have your printer updated by HP. I purchased a set of four ink cartridges, but when I inserted the black one, my printer told me it was "incompatible. " I returned it and ordered another, only to see the same message. After 90 MINUTES on the phone with HP tech support, I learn that you must replace all four cartridges with the "Z10" cartridges (whether or not they are empty) and then have HP "reset" your computer. It's very annoying that they don't tell you this in advance."

"* Our business bought 14 XL cartridges for our HP Officejet Pro 8100 printers last Aug 9th, 2017... None of our printers recognize these bad cartridges!... 86 and have 14 full XL cartridges that will not work in any of our HP Officejet Pro 8100 printers... The bad cartridges state "For use only in US and Canada Z10". Our other GOOD cartridges do not say this - our GOOD cartridges say (in this same space on the label) "Intended for single use only". Looks like we will have to start buying our cartridges locally again and paying more. But at least we know they will WORK..."

"I bought the black, magenta and yellow cartridges a couple of months ago as my printer was running low on ink... The printer says the cartridges won't work with my printer... They are the same cartridges I have been using for years and I have bought original HP cartridges to avoid these types of issues from happening... The packaging was all original, in good shape and states that the cartridges are intended for the US and Canada... If you buy these, be sure to try them out before it is too late to return them. Or just go to your local store as the Amazon price is not much better and you will be able to deal with a live person right away if there are any issues. Amazon must have gotten a discount on these ones!"
