I honestly got them to wear around home during the warmer months but due to their fit and comfort I will be switching to these boxers for my underwear as well... You need to to look at the size chart and be very honest with yourself as to what your waist is for they do fit true to size."

"yes they were the right size, and fit the same as the last set of medium Haines boxers that I had ordered a few years ago. The only explanation that fits is that some people who ordered medium, actually got smalls, and they didn't check the size on the package before they opened it to make sure that they were the right size. Remember that these shorts don't have tags on them, and so there is no way to know what size they are by looking at the shorts."

I had the same issue with both, extra strings hanging at the stretch waist.... Both felt the same with maybe BVD out performing the Hanes in thickness very slightly.. The only thing I did not care for was the price of these.. I would buy these again if the other vendor pricing goes up. If price remains lower than I will be a BVD fan for the extra pair of boxers and 100% cotton. Both sets are pretty much the same prints.."
