I have forever worn size 34 pants, in almost all pants, except Old Navy jeans that seem to run big, so I wear a 33 in those... This belt in size 34 is just slightly too small for me to get to the biggest hole and successfully belt it... There are 5 holes, and they start 3 1/2 inches from the tip, so are punched every 1 inch, so they are located at 3... That is because about 1 1/2 inches of material will go through buckle right now, but I need another 2 inches before I can get to first hole... I don't know yet about the wear, but I can't give it full marks because it is not as described. I chose this belt because it is described as "100% other materials" which is perfect for a vegetarian who prefers not tower leather. The belt arrived yesterday, and on the inside of the belt, it says in large letters Genuine Leather Lining. In smaller letters below that, it reads "Manmade Top. " Manmade top with leather lining does not equal 100% other materials. My son is not happy with this belt, but will probably have to were it as he needs it for an event this weekend, and there is no time to find something else."
