"With wear, it may stretch and move me along another hole, to the fourth one, but it seems unlikely I I'll use more holes than that, which means my belt loop tail will only be about 4 inches after you subtract the length of the buckle.""It's also not as stiff as my other Columbia belts - I can't find anything to dislike about this belt and plan on getting another one in brown."
"I've been buying belts since I was 16, who on earth doesn't know you buy a beat two sizes bigger than you wear your pants?"
"My son is not happy with this belt, but will probably have to were it as he needs it for an event this weekend, and there is no time to find something else."
"I've been wearing this belt daily for about 2 months."
"The holes are a bit of a tight fit but after using for a day or two they loosen up and it's not even an issue."
"I had ordered a 32 as I am a size 29 inch waist, but I could barely get the belt around my waist on the largest notch, and it was very difficult to latch the buckle in place."

"If your pants are plenty comfortable in the waist, and you need a belt to hold them up, then order 2 inches over your waist size... That is because about 1 1/2 inches of material will go through buckle right now, but I need another 2 inches before I can get to first hole... With wear, it may stretch and move me along another hole, to the fourth one, but it seems unlikely I I'll use more holes than that, which means my belt loop tail will only be about 4 inches after you subtract the length of the buckle.""There is a tad more room with this belt, so for me that was a plus as my other belts are a little too tight with a dress shirt and slacks. It's also not as stiff as my other Columbia belts - I can't find anything to dislike about this belt and plan on getting another one in brown. All in all, this Columbia Men's Trinity 35mm Feather Edge belt was exactly what I was looking for."
"I've been buying belts since I was 16, who on earth doesn't know you buy a beat two sizes bigger than you wear your pants? I'm sad this product got so many bad reviews by pexpletive that just purchased the wrong size. It's one of the best belts I've had and the quality is such that I know it will last for several years."
"It fits as expected, taking into account that belts are purchased a size or two larger than pants size. I don't know yet about the wear, but I can't give it full marks because it is not as described... My son is not happy with this belt, but will probably have to were it as he needs it for an event this weekend, and there is no time to find something else."
"* My original belt is fine, but the second belt that arrived in November has fallen appart... I've been wearing this belt daily for about 2 months... Over the years, I've owned a couple pairs of their shoes and clothes-all lasted a long time."
"The holes are a bit of a tight fit but after using for a day or two they loosen up and it's not even an issue... I bought that size as I knew I would be dropping to a 30" pant soon and since have and now use the second to last hole. So if your going for the middle hole I'd suggest buying two sizes up from your pant size."
"The low price should have been an indicator for me about the quality. Firstly, the belt was much smaller than I would have expected. I had ordered a 32 as I am a size 29 inch waist, but I could barely get the belt around my waist on the largest notch, and it was very difficult to latch the buckle in place."

"If your pants are plenty comfortable in the waist, and you need a belt to hold them up, then order 2 inches over your waist size... I have forever worn size 34 pants, in almost all pants, except Old Navy jeans that seem to run big, so I wear a 33 in those... This belt in size 34 is just slightly too small for me to get to the biggest hole and successfully belt it... There are 5 holes, and they start 3 1/2 inches from the tip, so are punched every 1 inch, so they are located at 3... That is because about 1 1/2 inches of material will go through buckle right now, but I need another 2 inches before I can get to first hole... With wear, it may stretch and move me along another hole, to the fourth one, but it seems unlikely I I'll use more holes than that, which means my belt loop tail will only be about 4 inches after you subtract the length of the buckle... It is not too plastic feeling, and is the quality of a standard belt - not super supple, but not brittle or plasticy like cheapo come with the pants belts either.""* After shopping around in bunch of stores and here on Amazon, I decided to take a chance on this belt. I have 2 other Columbia belts and a ton of coats and jackets by them, so I know they rock... As it turns out, it's much durable then a genuine leather upper... My pics tell the real story, but for me - I like the "I'm not real shinny look" this belt has. There is a tad more room with this belt, so for me that was a plus as my other belts are a little too tight with a dress shirt and slacks. It's also not as stiff as my other Columbia belts - I can't find anything to dislike about this belt and plan on getting another one in brown. All in all, this Columbia Men's Trinity 35mm Feather Edge belt was exactly what I was looking for."
"It fits as expected, taking into account that belts are purchased a size or two larger than pants size. I don't know yet about the wear, but I can't give it full marks because it is not as described. I chose this belt because it is described as "100% other materials" which is perfect for a vegetarian who prefers not tower leather. The belt arrived yesterday, and on the inside of the belt, it says in large letters Genuine Leather Lining. In smaller letters below that, it reads "Manmade Top. " Manmade top with leather lining does not equal 100% other materials. My son is not happy with this belt, but will probably have to were it as he needs it for an event this weekend, and there is no time to find something else."
"* My original belt is fine, but the second belt that arrived in November has fallen appart. It lasted for 4 months with light use... I've been wearing this belt daily for about 2 months... I like Columbia as a brand. Over the years, I've owned a couple pairs of their shoes and clothes-all lasted a long time. The prices were also reasonable-I usually waited for sales. For the licenced and lawful concealed carriers out there-this belt works well."
"* Good quality belt for the price. The holes are a bit of a tight fit but after using for a day or two they loosen up and it's not even an issue. I honestly don't see what all the complaining about them is about. I bought a 32" while wearing 32 pants and the fit was on the last hole. I figured that it would be on the second to last so the fit is a little smaller than what I expected. I bought that size as I knew I would be dropping to a 30" pant soon and since have and now use the second to last hole. So if your going for the middle hole I'd suggest buying two sizes up from your pant size."
"* I really didn't like this belt... I thought since Columbia was a well-known brand, it would be a good quality belt. The low price should have been an indicator for me about the quality. Firstly, the belt was much smaller than I would have expected. I had ordered a 32 as I am a size 29 inch waist, but I could barely get the belt around my waist on the largest notch, and it was very difficult to latch the buckle in place. The leather was very stiff and rubbery almost like cheap plastic. The color was more orange than brown."
